병원에 근무하는 물리치료사의 직무특성과 이직의도와의 관련성 연구 (Relationships between Job Characteristics and Turnover Intention of the Physical Therapists of Hospitals)

  • Recruiting and maintaining capable physical therapists in hospitals is crucial to provide patients with better quality's physical therapy and to achieve hospital business objectives. This study is to provide basic data for effective personnel management of physical therapists in the hospital. For this, this study was conducted to confirm the relationship between turnover intention and job characteristics(task importance, job autonomy, job feedback, task identity, skill diversity), and to find out factors affecting the turnover intention of hospital physical therapists in Korea. The sample used in this study consisted of 173 physical therapists who were working in hospitals located in Seoul from June 18 to 29. The data for analysis were collected by questionnaire survey. The dependent variable of this study was turnover intention and the independent variables were job characteristics(task importance, job autonomy, job feedback, task identity, skill diversity), demographic characteristics of respondents(sex, age, education level, marital status, working hospital, working career). The major statistical methods used for the analysis were factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. Turnover intention according to demographic characteristics of respondents was significantly high in the graduate school above group. As the result of hierarchical multiple regression analysis of turnover intention, R2 of job characteristics was much more powerful than demographic characteristics. The factors had significant negative effect on turnover intention were job autonomy, task identity, and skill diversity. And in demographic characteristics factors, there were not significant factors on turnover intention. In considering above findings, for decreasing turnover intention of physical therapists, hospitals need to develop strategies for enhancing job satisfaction by improving job autonomy, task identity, and skill diversity from the adequate job environment.

디자인 호텔의 서비스스케이프 유형과 특성에 관한 연구 - 유럽의 디자인 호텔 사례를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Types and Characteristics of Servicescape of Design Hotel - Focused on the Case of the Design Hotel in Europe -)

  • The servicescape of a design hotel means the physical environment in which a service is produced and consumed. Servicescape refers to the comprehensive physical environment perceived by users and is composed of physical elements such as ambient conditions, space, function, signs, symbols and artifacts. For a successful operation of a design hotel, it is necessary to investigate the design hotel's servicescape types according to characteristics of design hotel's servicescape to provide various servicescape. The purpose of this study is to classify the types of servicescape on design hotel and analyze characteristics through the case study. A case study on Europe's design hotels to find various servicescape design methods was conducted. According to characteristics of design hotel the types, it is also categorized into four different types: history/tradition, art/culture, collaboration, locality. The case study demonstrated that European design hotels were making many efforts for their uniqueness and differentiation by considering the cultural and historical characteristics of their city and providing art and cultural space for their community. Design hotels in Korea should not only provide visitors with opportunities to have special experience through the nation's own culture and history but also serve as a place of community activities.

극한환경에 노출된 남극 암석의 물리적·역학적 특성 (Physical and Mechanical Characteristics of the Antarctic Rocks Exposed to the Extreme Environment)

  • 남극대륙은 바람이 강하며 지구상에서 가장 기온이 낮고 건조한 극한환경 조건으로서 지표면의 암석은 동결-융해에 의해 암석의 역학적 특성이 변해왔다. 극지 암석의 지반공학적 특성을 이해하기 위하여 남극에서 직접 암석을 채취하여 암석의 물리적 역학적 특성을 분석하였다. 서남극 케이프 벅스 및 동남극 테라노바 만의 암석은 국내 편마암이 보이는 대표적인 물성 값의 범위내에 존재하고 있었으며, 케이프 벅스의 노출된 암석이 테라노바 만에 비하여 암반 강도가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 테라노바 만의 지표에 노출된 암석의 평균 흡수율은 0.56%, 평균 P파 속도는 3,717m/s, 일축압축 강도는 109MPa로 측정되었으며, 시추조사로부터 채취한 심도 2.9m 이상의 암석 평균 흡수율은 0.24%, 평균 P파 속도는 4,670m/s, 일축압축 강도는 88MPa로 측정되었다. 테라노바 만의 지표면에 노출된 암석과 심부에서 채취한 암석을 비교한 결과, 노출된 암석은 동결-융해의 영향으로 판단되는 역학적 특성 변화는 나타나지 않았으나 흡수율-P파 속도 변화의 물리적 특성 변화는 잘 나타났다.

개발조건이 공동주택단지 녹지공간의 계획특성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Correlation of Development Conditions and Physical Quality Indicators of Green Space in Apartment Housing)

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the residential environment based on the physical quality indicators of green space in apartment housing through the case study of 36 housing estate samples which were built in 1994-1998. The contents of this research consists of two main parts. The first part is to analyze the characteristics of residential environment based on the quality indicators of green space in apartment housing. The second part is to analyze the Correlation of Development Conditions and Physical Quality Indicators of Green Space. This research will contribute to the establishment of the site planning methods which increase the quality of residential environment in apartment housing.

  • For the evaluation of the mobile robot performance in complex environments, the experimental approach in an actual physical environment has been commonly taken. In the physical experimental approach, however, it is quite difficult to define the proper environment for the evaluation due to the lack of commonly agreed characteristics of the test environment. Particularly the number of combinations of types and physical parameters of the obstacles that the mobile robot is expected to deal with is practically unlimited. In an effort to simplify and improve the effectiveness of the evaluation process, we propose an evaluation method using decomposed environmental elements, where we evaluated the performance of the robot for a small group of simple and decomposed obstacle components, for examples projection and slope, instead of a large group of complicated random obstacles. The paper describes a set of simple obstacle models and performance parameters that we have chosen for the effective evaluation process. As an alternative to the physical experimental evaluation approach, in this paper, we used a virtual evaluation environment where the robot and the physical test environment has been modeled using a commercial multi-body dynamics analysis packaged called RecurDyn.

Preference of Physical Microhabitat on the $1^{st}$-class Endangered Species, Gobiobotia naktongensis inhabiting the Gam Stream, Tributary of the Nakdong River

  • The study was conducted in 2007~2008 in order to understand preference of physical microhabitat on the $1^{st}$-class endangered species, Gobiobotia naktongensis inhabiting the Gam Stream, tributary of Nakdong River. The total number of fish caught from the study sites was 3,671 representing 7 families 24 species. There were 8 Korean endemic species including Odontobutis platycephala, and 2 introduced species (Carassius cuvieri, Micropterus salmoides) were found. According to investigation and analysis of physical microhabitat on Gobiobotia naktongensis caught in the Gam Stream, a total of 57 individuals were found at shallow depth (0.14~0.46 m) and run (0.239~0.585m $sec^{-1}$). As a result of sieve analysis, stream beds consisted of about 1% gravel and 99% sand (83.4% coarse sand, 15.6% find sand). Therefore, Gobiobotia naktongensis seemed to inhabit shallow-run with coarse sand bed than deep-pool microhabitat. The findings indicate preference of physical microhabitat on Gobiobotia naktongensis, and it is important to enhance efficiency of fish conservation and ecological restoration with understanding species-specific characteristics in microhabitat including protected species.

아동실의 물리적인 환경이 아동정서에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Physical Environment of Childroom on Children's Emotion)

  • The purpose of this research is to find out environmental characteristics of elementary school children's room, and determine the relationship between children's room environment and their emotional characteristics. For the research, used were a developed measurement instrument for environmental characteristics of children's room as well as the emotion measurement instrument published by Korean Testing Co. and developed by Dr. Lee Jong-seung for elementary school children in their higher year grades. The results showed that environmental characteristics of children's room has relationship with children's emotional characteristics. The order of environmental characteristics had a direct and high relationship with children's emotional characteristics, while originality had indirect relationship with children's emotional characteristics through intervening variables. The human relationship of children's emotional characteristics was the most influenced by children's room environmental characteristics.

충북지역 읍면소재 소도읍 전통시장의 물리적 환경 특성과 개선에 관한 연구 - 무극, 삼성, 보은 3개 전통시장을 사례로- (A Study on the Physical Environment of Local Traditional Markets located in Chungbuk Province - Centering on Mugeuk, Samseong, and Boeun Traditional Markets -)

  • Traditional markets located in local small towns have effected local economies and culture for a long time, but their current situation is not so good. In this context, this paper tries to find out the physical characteristics and problems of local traditional markets and to extract some suggestions to improve them. For this, I selected three traditional markets as case study areas such as Mugeuk, Samseong, and Boeun located in local small town in Chungbuk Province. Using the diverse survey methods including theoretical review, basic data analysis, field survey, and questionnaire study, I examined physical features such as location, spatial structure, type of business, streetscape, and convenient facilities in the designated markets. Finally, based on this, I proposed some suggestions on the improvement of traditional markets located in local small towns as followings; expand and improve the convenient facilities, enforce the image of entrance, boost and form groups of specified business, reflect the local characteristics, and amend the related institution etc.

경력단절 간호사의 경력단절 원인에 대한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Study on the Causes of Career Interruption in inactive nurses)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호사들의 병원 근무 경험과 경력단절 영향요인을 심층적으로 분석하기 위해 시도되었다. 이를 위해 26-55세 경력단절 간호사 20명을 대상으로 간호사로서의 경험, 간호 일의 특성과 퇴직사유의 내용을 인터뷰하였으며 현상학적 방법 중 꼴라쥐(Colaizzi)의 분석방법을 적용하였다. 분석결과 104개의 주요 진술과 17개의 구성된 의미, 6개의 공통 주제군, 2개의 범주가 도출되었다. 2개의 범주는 간호 업무 특성과 근무 환경 특성이며 간호 업무 특성에서는 '시간 압박', '자율성 부재', '신체 감정 노동', '낮은 임금 상승률'의 4가지 공통 주제군이, 근무 환경 특성에서는 '물리적 환경', '인적 환경'의 2가지 공통 주제군이 각각 도출되었다. 따라서 간호사의 경력단절 현상을 개선하기 위해서는 과도한 업무강도를 완화하고 적정수준의 임금인상과 안전한 근무환경을 제공하려는 노력이 필요하다.

Environmental Design Factors for Open Space in Healing Facilities - Focused on Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital and The Nationwide Children's Hospital -

  • The open space of the healing facility should contribute to the psychological and social healing of the users, provide a social environment for rest, and provide a design factor to support the walking path to move to the destination-connected space. In this paper, I examined the relationship between the environmental elements, spatial devices, and the characteristics of the design factors in the open space for healing facilities. As a research method, based on the analysis of previous studies, a healing facility in modern society was defined, and the relationship between the social support and physical environment factors of the healing facility where open space was considered. Through the consideration of cases, the characteristics of the physical space environment, and the design factors of the open space in the healing facility were categorized. As a result of research, open space in the healing facility is a space to promote a social exchange of users, as a physical form for accommodating psychological and social healing functions, it is necessary to construct the connection of the external space with the internal space.
