  • We have designed data processing server system to include data archiving, photometric processing and light curve analysis for KMTNet (Korea Microlensing Telescope Network). Outputs of each process are reported to the main photometric database, which manages the whole processing steps and archives the photometric results. The database is developed using ORACLE 11g Release 2 engine. It allows to select objects applying any set of criteria such as RA/DEC coordinate and Star ID, etc. We tested the performance of the database using the OGLE photometric data. The searching time for querying 70,000,000 records was under 1 second. The database is fully accessed using query forms via web page.

  • The conventional scan methods are based on a laser scanner and a depth camera, which requires high cost and complicated post-processing. Whereas in photometric scanning method, the 3D modeling data is acquired through multi-view images. This is advantageous compared to the other methods. The quality of a photometric 3D model depends on the environmental conditions or the object characteristics, but the quality is lower as compared to other methods. Therefore, various methods for improving the quality of photometric scanning are being studied. In this paper, we aim to investigate the effect of illumination conditions on the quality of photometric scanning data. To do this, 'Moai' statue is 3D printed with a size of $600(H){\times}1,000(V){\times}600(D)$. The printed object is photographed under the hard light and soft light environments. We obtained the modeling data by photometric scanning method and compared it with the ground truth of 'Moai'. The 'Point-to-Point' method used to analyseanalyze the modeling data using open source tool 'CloudCompare'. As a result of comparison, it is confirmed that the standard deviation value of the 3D model generated under the soft light is 0.090686 and the standard deviation value of the 3D model generated under the hard light is 0.039954. This proves that the higher quality 3D modeling data can be obtained in a hard light environment. The results of this paper are expected to be applied for the acquisition of high-quality data.

  • A realization for an accurate position detecting system of a moving target in two dimensional plane using dual line CCDs and photometric interpolation is presented. The system is realized that the infrared LEDs are utilized for lighting source, a target size is recognized by the scanned data from CCD owing to blocking the radiated light path by placing the target between CCD and lighting source, a coordinate on the plane is found by plane trigonometry formed by the moving target and two CCD sensors, and the former scan data is used for the coordinate iteratively and the photometric interpolation is applied to sub-pixel of scanned image. The experimental results show that the experiment results in a success rate about 3 different size targets, 3, 5 and 7mmm on the test plane $210{\times}373mm$. The moving target positioning detected success rate is 93% in 3mm target, 5mm is 95.3%, and 7mm is 95.8% respectively. The photometric interpolation is enhanced to 1.5% in comparison to be unused.

  • Gyeonggi science high school for the gifted (GSHS) installed 60cm telescope, which is waiting for student observers. It is essential to understand the characteristics of the photometric system, consisting of telescope, filter, and CCD, to get reliable data. CCD images of SA98 Landolt standard field and M67 were obtained on 19th March 2020. The images of each field were combined by filters, i.e., we ignored the monochromatic atmospheric extinction since the photometric objects themselves are standard stars. 24 standard stars in SA98 field and 12 standard stars in M67 were used to derive the tentative transformation equation between our bv photometric system and Johnson BV photometric system. In this poster, we present the preliminary standardization result for Johnson BV photometric system in GSHS 60cm telescope. The reproductivity is discussed by comparing color coefficients of two fields. We plan to extend this process to Johnsons-Cousins BVRI photometric system and narrow-band filters for flux calibration.

  • We have performed deep wide-field CCD photometry of the young open cluster IC 1805 in the famous star forming region W4, and obtained photometric data for more than 91,000 stars in the field of IC 1805 based on observations with the 3.6m CFHT and the AZT-22 1.5m telescope at Maidanak Astronomical Observatory in Uzbekistan. The photometric data cover an area $43^{\prime}{\times}45^{\prime}$ which is far larger and far deeper than any other optical observations made for the cluster. In order to select the young stellar objects with mid-IR excess emission, we have performed mid-IR photometry of the cluster using the archival images obtained with the Spitzer Space Telescope IRAC and MIPS instruments. From a preliminary analysis of the data, we determined the reddening law ($R_V=3.02{\pm}0.05$), distance modulus ($V_0-M_V=11.9{\pm}0.2$), and the spatial distribution of members.

  • We conducted an unbiased near- to mid-infrared imaging and spectroscopic survey of the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) as a part of the AKARI Mission Program "Large-area Survey of the LMC" (LSLMC, PI: T. Onaka). An area of about 10 square degrees of the LMC was observed by five photometric bands (3.2, 7, 11, 15, and $24{\mu}m$) and a low-resolution slitless prism ($2-5{\mu}m$, R ~20) equipped with AKARI /IRC. We constructed and publicly released photometric and spectroscopic catalogues of point sources in the LMC based on the survey data. The catalogues provide a large number of near-infrared spectral data, coupled with complementary broadband photometric data. Combined use of the present AKARI LSLMC catalogues with other infrared point source catalogues of the LMC possesses scientific potential that can be applied to various astronomical studies.

  • A dwarf irregular galaxy IC10 in the Local Group is the nearest starburst galaxy, playing an important role revealing the details of starburst. It is located close to the Galactic plane so that it suffers from severe foreground reddening. Therefore much less is known about the property of this galaxy compared with other galaxies in the Local Group. So are star clusters in this galaxy. We present a photometric study of the star clusters in IC10. 57 star clusters are already found from HST images in previous studies, and we newly found 15 star clusters using Local Group Survey data and SUBARU/Suprime-Cam data. We derive UBVRI integrated photometry of these star clusters from the images from Local Group Survey data and JHKs photometry taken with SUBARU/MOIRCS. Then we derive age and mass of these clusters using the spectral energy distribution fitting with the simple stellar population models. We discuss the photometric and physical properties of these star clusters and its implication.

  • We have estimated a metallicity map of the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) using the Magellanic Cloud Photometric Survey (MCPS) and Optical Gravitational Lensing Experiment (OGLE III) photometric data. This is a first of its kind, high-spatial resolution map of metallicity up to a radius of $4^{\circ}-5^{\circ}$, derived using large area photometric data and calibrated using spectroscopic data of Red Giant Branch (RGB) stars. The RGB is identified in the V, (V - I) colour- magnitude diagrams of small subregions of varying sizes in both data sets. The slope of the RGB is used as an indicator of the mean metallicity of a subregion, and it is calibrated to metallicity using spectroscopic data for field and cluster red giants in selected subregions. The mean metallicity of the LMC is found to be [Fe/H] = -0.37 dex (${\sigma}[Fe/H]=0.12$) from MCPS data, and [Fe/H] = -0.39 dex (${\sigma}[Fe/H]=0.10$) from OGLE III data. The bar is found to have an uniform and higher metallicity compared to the disk, and is indicative of an active bar in the past. Both the data sets suggest a shallow radial metallicity gradient up to a radius of 4 kpc ($-0.049{\pm}0.002$ dex kpc-1 to $-0.066{\pm}0.006$ dex kpc-1). This metallicity gradient of the LMC disk, though shallow, resembles the gradient seen in spiral galaxies, and similar to that found in our Galaxy.

  • A specific and sensitive gas chromatographic (GC) procedure with the flame photometric detector (FPD) was developed for determination of barbiturates such as barbital, allobarbital, secobarbital, phenobarbital and thiopental in plasma. In order to evaluate the performance of the FPD, the results were campared with those of the flame ionization detector (FID). After extraction of barbiturates from plasma, the barbiturates were quantitatively N, N-dimethylthiometyl (MTM)-derivatized with methylthiomethyl chloride in 1, 8-diazabicyclo [5, 4, 0] undec-7-ene catalyst. The data indicate that the FPD is about 4 times more sensitive than the FID for barbiturates, although it is less reproducible. The FPD also produced chromatogram with less back ground for extracted plasma sample. The FPD also produced chromatogram with less background for extracted plasma sample. The minimum detectable amount of MTM-thiopental on 3% OV-225 column was 4, 4fmol and that of other MTM-barbiturate was about 10.0fmol.
