In this paper, Inverter drives adopting 2 phase space vector SRP-PWM (Separately Randomized Pulse Position PWM) with fixed switching frequency is proposed. The proposed 2 phase space vector SRP-PWM scheme is based on the 3 phase SRP-PWM. In the proposed SRP-PWM scheme, each of two phase pulses is located randomly in each switching interval. The experimental results show that the voltage and acoustic noise harmonics are spread to a wide band area. Also, the performance of the proposed 2 phase SRP-PWM and the conventional center aligned SVM are compared to each other. In result, the speed response is nearly similar to each other from the viewpoint of the v/f constant control.
This paper presents a novel prototype of three-phase voltage source type zero voltage soft-switching inverter with the auxiliary resonant snubbers suitable for high-power applications with IGBT power module packages in order to reduce their switching power losses as well as electromagnetic conductive and radiative noises. A proposed single inductor-assisted resonant AC link snubber circuit topology as one of some auxiliary resonant commutation snubbers developed previously to achieve the zero voltage soft-switching (ZVS) for the three-phase voltage source type sinewave PWM inverter operating under the instantaneous space voltage vector modulation is originally demonstrated as compared with the other types of resonant AC link snubber circuit topologies. In addition to this, its operation principle and unique features are described in this paper. Furthermore, the practical basic operating performances of the new conceptual instantaneous space voltage vector modulation resonant AC link snubber-assisted three-phase voltage source type soft-switching PWM inverter using IGBT power module packages are evaluated and discussed on the basis of switching voltage and current waveforms, output line to line voltage quality, power loss analysis, actual power conversion efficiency and electromagnetic conductive and radiative noises from an experimental point of view, comparing with those of conventional three-phase voltage source hard-switching PWM inverter using IGBT power modules.

A phase-change material (PCM) is a material that has the ability to delay heat transfer by absorbing heat from its environment or releasing heat to its environment while its phase changes from solid to liquid or liquid to solid at a specific temperature. As it is applied, it can contribute to environmental conservation such as energy savings and carbon dioxide emission reduction. In order for a PCM to store and release heat, the volume change during its phase transition should be large, and thus a phase transition space is required. When a PCM is used as a polymer additive, it is confined within the polymer, and there is no phase transition space; thus, its ability to absorb and release heat is significantly reduced. Therefore, in this study, porous silica was used to provide EVA/PCM compounds with sufficient space for their phase transition, and to improve the compatibility between the EVA and PCM, modified silica is used: surface-modified 5 wt% silica with 3-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane. The compound was prepared and compared with the silica compound. The presence or absence of the modified silica surface modification was confirmed using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis, the heat capacity of the compound was evaluated based on a differential scanning calorimetry analysis, and its mechanical strength and morphology were determined using scanning electron microscopy.
In this paper, we will study controllability of some case s an initial condition $\phi$ included in some approximated phase space. To this prove we used to the Schauder fixed point theorem.
The Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter (KPLO), the first South Korea lunar exploration probe, successfully arrived at the Moon on December, 2022 (UTC), following a 4.5-month ballistic lunar transfer (BLT) trajectory. Since the launch (4 August, 2022), the KPLO magnetometer (KMAG) has carried out various observations during the trans-lunar cruise phase and a 100 km altitude lunar polar orbit. KMAG consists of three fluxgate magnetometers capable of measuring magnetic fields within a ± 1,000 nT range with a resolution of 0.2 nT. The sampling rate is 10 Hz. During the originally planned lifetime of one year, KMAG has been operating successfully while performing observations of lunar crustal magnetic fields, magnetic fields induced in the lunar interior, and various solar wind events. The calibration and offset processes were performed during the TLC phase. In addition, reliabilities of the KMAG lunar magnetic field observations have been verified by comparing them with the surface vector mapping (SVM) data. If the KPLO's mission orbit during the extended mission phase is close enough to the lunar surface, KMAG will contribute to updating the lunar surface magnetic field map and will provide insights into the lunar interior structure and lunar space environment.

A statistical study of coronal hole merging and splitting has been performed through Solar Cycle 23. The NOAA/SESC solar synoptic maps are examined to identify inarguably clear events of coronal hole merging and splitting. The numbers of merging events and splitting events are more or less comparable regardless of the phase in the solar cycle. The number of both events, however, definitely shows the phase dependence in the solar cycle. It apparently has a minimum at the solar minimum whereas its maximum is located in the declining phase of the sunspot activity, about a year after the second peak in Solar Cycle 23. There are more events of merging and splitting in the descending phase than in the ascending phase. Interestingly, no event is found at the local minimum between the two peaks of the sunspot activity. This trend can be compared with the variation of the average magnetic field strength and the radial field component in the solar wind through the solar cycle. In Ulysses observations, both of these quantities have a minimum at the solar minimum while their maximum is located in the descending phase, a while after the second peak of the sunspot activity. At the local minimum between the two peaks in the solar cycle, the field strength and the radial component both have a shallow local minimum or an inflection point. At the moment, the physical reason for these resembling tendencies is difficult to understand with existing theories. Seeing that merging and splitting of coronal holes are possible by passage of opposite polarity magnetic structures, we may suggest that the energizing activities in the solar surface such as motions of flux tubes are not exactly in phase with sunspot generation, but are more active some time after the sunspot maximum.
This study proposes the analysis and evaluation method of time series ultrasonic signal using the phase space-frequency domain. Features extracted from time series signal analyze quantitatively characteristics of weld defects. For this purpose, analysis objectives in this study are features of time domain and frequency domain. Trajectory changes in the attractor indicated a substantial difference in fractal characteristics resulting from distance shifts such as parts of head and flange even though the types of defects are identified. These differences in characteristics of weld defects enables the evaluation of unique characteristics of defects in the weld zone. In quantitative fractal feature extraction, feature values of 3.848 in the case of part of head(crack) and 4.102 in the case of part of web(side hole) and 3.711 in the case of part of flange(crack) were proposed on the basis of fractal dimension. Proposed phase space-frequency domain method in this study can integrity evaluation for defect signals of rail weld zone such as side hole and crack.
We construct the X-ray light curves of the W UMa type contact binary SS Arietis(HD12929) from the EXOSAT data in HEASARC data archive. The phase dependent X-ray light curves obtained by using the ephimeris of Kaluzny & Pojmanski of SS Ari is modulated on the orbital phase as in the case of other W UMa type binaries. Although a detailed analysis of these data is impossible because of the very low X-ray light curves in the context of the radiation in the corona region of W UMa type stars.

In this paper, we present an iterative phase offset estimation algorithm based on a space-time block code and turbo coded system. External single phase estimator receives soft information from the turbo decoder and estimates phase offset with LMS algorithm. The estimated phase offset value is used for space-time decoder. Simulation results show the phase estimation gain in a flat fading channel.
