Verification method and Simulation of Object model Converted to Formal Specification (형식명세로 변환된 객체모델의 검증방법과 시뮬레이션)

  • In this paper, We define convert rules from objects and relation presented in object model to the state and operation domain in formal specification. Namely, object and relation in information model converted to state domain in formal specification. State, event and behavior converted to operation domain. And that way informal object model change to formal language, it can be verify through formal method. Verification process make an offer convenience and confidence in software development early phase. And we implement simulation tool in order to verification method of formal specification and to consistency verified model between user's requirement. It is possible to select the suitable model and reduce the costs and efforts on software development.

Superconductivty and magnetic properties of $(Ru_{1-x}Nb_x)Sr_2(Sm_{1.4}Ce_{0.6})Cu_2O_z$

  • We investigated the effect of Nb substitution for Ru on the structural and magnetic properties of $(Ru_{1-x}Nb_x)\;Sr_2(Sm_{1.4}Ce_{0.6})Cu_2O_z$ Samples. X-ray diffraction measurements indicated that nearly single-phase samples are formed in the range from x = 0 to 1.0. The superconducting transition temperature determined from the inflection in the field-cooled magnetic susceptibility decreased only slightly from $T_c$ = 25 K for x = 0 to $T_c$ = 22 K for x = 1.0, in consistent with the change in room temperature thermopower of the samples. However, the Nb substitution for Ru above x = 0.25 significantly suppressed the weak ferromagnetic component of the field-cooled magnetic susceptibility. It was also found that the Nb substitution for Ru results in an enhanced diamagnetic susceptibility with Nb content above x = 0.5 in both zero field-cooled and field-cooled magnetization measurements, in contrast to the behavior of the samples with $x{\leq}0.5$ in which the diamagnetic susceptibility decreases as the Nb content increases.

The Catalytic Effects of o-Iodosobenzoate Ion on Hydrolysis of p-Nitrophenylvalate in ETAMs Solution (ETAMs 용액내에서 p-Nitrophenylvalate의 가수분해반응에 미치는 o-Iodosobenzoate Ion의 촉매효과)

  • In this study, reaction model and reactions rate accelerated by o-iodosobenzoate ion(IB$^{\ominus}$) on hydrolysis reaction of p-nitrophenyl valate(NPV) using ethyl tri-octyl ammonium mesylate(ETAMs) for quaternary ammonium salts, the phase transfer catalysis(PTC) reagent, were investigated. The effect of IB$^{\ominus}$ on hydrolysis reaction rate constant of NPV was weak without ETAMs solutions. Otherwise, in ETAMs solutions, the hydrolysis reactions exhibit higher first order kinetics with respect to the nucleophile, IB$^{\ominus}$, and ETAMs, suggesting that reactions are occurring in small aggregates of the three species including the substrate(NPV), whereas the reaction of NPV with OH$^{\ominus}$ is not catalyzed by ETAMs. Different concentrations of NPV were tested to measure the change of rate constants to investigate the effect of NPV as substrate and the results showed that the effect was weak. This means the reaction would be the first order kinetics with respect to the nucleophile. This behavior for the drastic rate-enhancement of the hydrolysis is referred as 'Aggregation complex model' for reaction of hydrophobic organic ester with o-iodosobenzoate ion(IB$^{\ominus}$) in hydrophobic quarternary ammonium salt(ETAMs) solutions.

  • 상변화 메모리용 셀은 전류 구동형으로써 셀에 전류를 인가하였을 때 저항이 높은 상태(비정질상)과 저항이 낮은 상태(결정질상)의 두가지 특성을 갖는다. 저항이 높은 상태에서 전류나 전압을 인가하면 높은 저항을 보이다가 일정 값(threshold voltage) 이상에서 낮은 저항을 갖는 현상을 보인다. 이때 상변화물질의 종류 혹은 셀의 사이즈에 따라 threshold voltage의 차이가 나타나는데 이 값을 줄임으로서 상변화 메모리의 구동 전류의 감소에 기여할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 스퍼터링 방법을 이용해 박막형식의 셀을 제작하여 전기적 특성을 관찰하였다. 셀은 Si 기판 위에 radio frequency power supply 와 direct current power supply를 사용해 하부전극과 상변화층, 그리고 상부전극의 순으로 증착하여 제작하였다. 상변화층은 $Ge_2Sb_2Te_5$를 사용하였고 제작된 셀은 scanning electon microscope(SEM)를 이용하여 표면의 상태를 확인하였고 Keithley 4200scs를 이용하여 인가된 전류 혹은 전압에 따른 특성변화를 측정하였다.

STUDY ON BEHAVIOR OF LIQUID NITROGEN IN POROUS MEDIA (다공성 매질에서 액화질소의 거동에 대한 연구)

  • The process of flow through porous media is of interest a wide range of engineering fields and areas, and the importance of fluid flow with a change in phase arises from the fact that many industrial processes rely on these phenomena for materials process, energy transfer. Especially, the flow phenomena of cryogenic liquid subjected to evaporation is of interest to investigate how the cryogenic liquid behaves in the porous structure. In this study, thermo physical properties, morphological properties of the glass wool with different bulk densities in terms of its temperature-dependence and permeability behaviors under different applying pressure are discussed. Using the experimentally determined properties, characteristics of two main experimental results are investigated. In addition, simulation results are used to realize the cryogenic liquid's flow in porous media, and are compared with experimental results. By using the experimentally determined properties, more reasonable results can be suggested in dealing with porous media flow.

Characterization of TiAlN Coated Layer with Heat Treatment Prepared by R.F Magnetron Sputtering (R.F magnetron sputtering법으로 제조된 TiAlN 코팅 층의 열처리 특성)

  • TiAlN coatings are available in various industry fields as a wear resistant coating for high-speed machining, due to its high hardness, excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance. The corrosion resistance of TiAlN multilayer coatings is better than that of single TiN coatings. Most of TiAlN coated layers were formed by heat treatment of coating layers with a non-stoichiometric $Ti_xAl_{1-x}N$. In this study, TiAlN coated layer was prepared by R.F magnetron sputtering and investigated the thermal behavior for heat treatment at various temperature in tube furnace. The formation of large particles with porous microstructure and phase change from HCP to FCC were observed on coated layer during heat treatment over $850^{\circ}C$ and it reduced the corrosion resistance of coated TiAlN layers.

Unsteady Transitional Boundary Layer due to Rotor Stator Interaction at Design and Off Design Operations (설계점 및 탈설계점에서의 rotor-stator 상호작용에 의한 비정상 천이 경계층의 수치해석적 연구)

  • The unsteady transitional boundary layer due to rotor-stator interaction was studied at two operation points, the design and one off design points. The off design point leads to lower blade loading and lower Reynolds number. A Navier-Stokes code developed in the previous study was parallelized to expedite computations. A low Reynolds number turbulence model was used to close the momentum equations. All computations show good agreement with experimental data. The wake induced transitional strip on the suction side of the stator is clearly captured at design point operation. There is no noticeable change in shape and phase angle of the wake induced strip even in the laminar sublayer. The wake induced transitional strip at off design point shows more complex structure. The wake induced transitional strip is observed only in the turbulent layer, and becomes obscure in the laminar sublayer and buffer layer. This behavior is probably consequent upon that the transition is governed by both wake induced strip and natural transition mechanism by Tollmien-Schlichting wave.

A Study on the Behavior of Evaporating Diesel Spray Using LIEF Measurement and KIVA Code

  • The effects of change in injection pressure on spray structure in high temperature and pressure field have been investigated. The analysis of liquid and vapor phases of injected fuel is important for emissions control of diesel engines. Therefore, this work examines the evaporating spray structure using a constant volume vessel. The injection pressure is selected as the experimental parameter, is changed from 400 bar to 800 bar by using a common rail injection system. Also, we conducted simulation study by modified KIVA-II code. The results of simulation study are compared with experimental results. The images of liquid and vapor phase for free spray were simultaneously taken by exciplex fluorescence method. As experimental results, the vapor concentration of injected fuel is leaner due to the increase of atomization in the case of the high injection pressure than in that of the low injection pressure. The calculated results obtained by modified KIVA-II code show good agreements with experimental results.

Eddy Formation Near the Izu-Ogasawara Ridge and its Link with Seasonal Adjustment of the Subtropical Gyre in the Pacific

  • Using OGCM results, we have shown that the ring-like cold baroclinic eddies associated with cyclonic circulation are shed from late summer to early fall near the Izu-Ogasawara Ridge from the Kuroshio Extension owing to baroclinic instability. On the other hand, warm baroclinic eddies are generated by the intensified western boundary current associated with the warm anomaly accumulated near the Ridge in winter, which corresponds to the basin-wide barotropic intensification of the wind-driven gyre in winter. We are successful in reproducing the behavior of those meso-scale eddies using a simple two-layer primitive equation model driven by seasonal winds associated with the positive curl. Those eddies carry barotropic seasonal signals originated in the Pacific Basin quite slowly west of the ridge; this process introduces a phase lag in the timing of the seasonal maximum transport in the Philippine Basin west of the ridge. It Is demonstrated that the existence of bottom topography, baroclinicity, and nonlinearity due to advection are three necessary elements for the generation of these eddies south of Japan.

Precipitation of L21-type Ni2AlTi Phase in B2-type Intermetallic Compounds NiTi (B2형 금속간화합물 NiTi 중에 L21형 Ni2AlTi상의 석출)

  • Precipitation behavior has been studied in NiTi-based ordered alloy using transmission electron microscopy. The hardness after solution treatment is high in NiTi alloy suggesting the large contribution of solid solution strengthening in this alloy system. However, the amount of age hardening is not large as compared to the large microstructural variations during aging. At the beginning of aging, the $L2_1-type$ $Ni_2AlTi$ precipitates keep a lattice coherency with the NiTi matrix. By longer periods of aging $Ni_2AlTi$ precipitates lose their coherency and change their morphology to the globular ones surrounded by misfit dislocations. Misfit dislocations, which are observed on {100} planes of H-precipitates have the Burgers vector of a <100> with a pure edge type. The lattice misfits of $NiTi-Ni_2AlTi$ system is estimated from the spacings of misfit dislocations to be 1.3% at 1273 K. The lattice misfits decrease with increasing aging temperature in this system.
