  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the correlation between trunk stabilization muscle activation and the parameters of gait analysis in healthy individuals. Methods: Thirty healthy adults (15 male, 15 female) with no history of lower back pain (LBP) or current musculoskeletal and neurological injuries were studied. Trunk stabilization muscle activation (e.g., external oblique, internal oblique, transverse abdominis, erector spinae) were assessed using surface electromyography. To analyze gait, we measured temporal parameters (e.g., gait velocity, single support phase, double support phase, swing phase, and stance phase) and a spatial parameter (e.g., H-H base of support). Results: A statistically significant correlation was found between the internal oblique, transverse abdominis, and erector spinae muscle activity and gait velocity, single support phase, double support phase, swing phase, and stance phase. No statistically significant correlation was found between the external oblique muscle activity and the gait velocity, single support phase, double support phase, swing phase, and stance phase. No statistically significant correlation was found between the external oblique, internal oblique, transverse abdominis, and erector spinae muscle activity and the spatial parameter. Conclusion: This study demonstrated that a relationship exists between trunk stabilization muscle activation and temporal parameter (i.e., gait velocity, single support phase, double support phase, swing phase, and stance phase) during gait analysis. Therefore, the trunk's stabilizer muscles play an important role in the gait of healthy individuals.

  • In this paper, we introduce an algorithm for identification of the Advanced Mountain Methods parameter. It consists of two phases: Phase I and Phase II. In Phase I, a given data space is divided into subspaces based on the density of the given data. In Phase II, we obtain the AMMs parameter $\omega$ by selecting the minimum of variances of subspaces obtained in Phase I. Numerical examples are presented to show the validity of the proposed method.

Also it compares with the parameters and it analyzes and an optimum parameter it seeks by FEM. Consquently, a optimal design is accomplished from the this paper. Also parameters compare efficiency. And it analyzes and studies about optimum parameter by FEM. The sample single-phase induction motor selection selected existing premium level motor. We analyze each parameter using 2-D finite element analysis (FEM). According to Study of losses and Design flow, losses and efficiency can be explain by many parameter. So this paper present optimal parameters. Finally, this paper presents the method which raises the efficiency of premium efficiency level single-phase induction motor.

  • It is known that a unified phase I-phase II semi-infinite optimization algorithm with a steerign parameter performs better than the original unified phase I-phase II algorithm. In this paper, the effect of the steering parameter is analized and a new algorithm is presented based on the facts that when the point x is far away from the feasible region, reaching to the feasible region is more important than minimizing the cost functio and that when the point x is near the region, it is more efficient to try to reach the feasible region and to minimize the cost function concurrently. It is also important to consider the relationship between the feasible direction and the gradient of the cost function. Even though changing the steering parameter does not change the rate of convergence of the algorithm, it is shown from examples that given new algorithm is more efficient than the previous ones.

  • This paper suggests the techniques in determining the values of the steady-state equivalent circuit parameters of a three-phase induction machine using genetic algorithm. The parameter estimation procedure is based on the steady-state phase current versus slip and input power versus slip characteristics. The propose estimation algorithm is of non-linear kind based on selection in genetic algorithm. The machine parameters are obtained as the solution of a minimization of objective function by genetic algorithm. Simulation shows good performance of the propose procedures.

  • This paper presents the result of an analysis on effects of phase compensation on power system stability in the PSS parameter tuning. Synchronizing and damping coefficients are induced from lineal model for generator with PSS. Synchronizing and damping coefficients corresponding to time constants of phase compensation control block are calculated on a single machine, infinite bus test system. The Parameter tuning concepts, basic function, structural elements and performance criteria of PSS are introduced.

  • We have redefined the $\alpha$ -parameter of the extended transmitters in the presence of self-phase modulation (SPM) induced chirp. The $\alpha$ -parameter is effectively lowered to about 1, when the SPM effect with the launching power of 12.5dBm (maximum launching power to avoid stimulated Brillouin scattering(SBS)) is included, compared to the $\alpha$ -parameter of the transmitter algone. The lowered $\alpha$ -parameter has improved the transmission performance significantly regardless the transmitter is operated with positive or negative chirp. The SPM-induced effective $\alpha$ -parameter can be used as a design parameter for the high speed (10 Gbps) transmission systems.

  • Phase change memory (PCM) has attracted much attention as one of the most promising candidates for next-generation nonvolatile memory. In that regard, the purposes of the study are to propose reference of effective pulse parameter to control phase switching operation and to invest the effect of nitrogen doped in PCM materials for improved cycling stability and economic energy consumption. Switching operation of PCM is affected by electric pulse parameter and as shown in figure.1 are composed to RT(rising time), ST(setting time), FT(falling time) and the effect of these parameter was precisely investigated. Transmission electron microscope (TEM) was used to confirm fine structure and retention cycle test was conducted to confirm reliability. Finally improvement reliability and economic power consumption in quantitatively are obtainable by optimum pulse parameter and nitrogen doping in GST material. these study is related to the engineering background of other semiconductor industries and it have confirmed to possibility further applications.

  • We present a three-parameter phase shift model whose form is the same as that of Coulombmodified Glauber model obtained from Gaussian nuclear densities. This model is applied to the $^6Li+^{12}C$ and the $^6Li+^{28}Si$ elastic scatterings at $E_{lab}=318MeV$. The calculated differential cross sections provide quite a satisfactory account of the experimental data. The diffractive oscillatory structures observed at forward angles can be explained as being due to the strong interference between the near-side and the far-side scattering amplitudes. The optical potentials for two systems are predicted by using the method of inversion. The calculated inversion potentials are found to be in fairly good agreements with the results determined from the optical model analysis in the surface regions around the strong absorption radius. We also investigate the effects of parameters in the three-parameter phase shift model on the elastic scattering cross sections.

  • Based on the method of determination for relative stability of each phase from the difference among the interaction parameters of the phases consisting the mixed layer, the types of interactions between layers were specified and interaction parameter between layers in ordered domain was analytically derived as a function parameter between layers in ordered domain was analytically derived as a function of not only temperature and mole fraction of layers but also ordering parameter. Interaction parameter between the different layers in ordered phase, L is as follows:{{{{ {L }_{1 } (X,Q,T)= { C} over { Q} -4(1-2Q) { L}^{2 } - { RT} over {2} ln { 1} over {2 } - { 2RT} over { { X}_{ s} } ln { { 4QX}`_{s } ^{2 } } over {(1- { X}_{s }- { QX}_{s })( { X}_{s }- {QX }_{s } ) } }}}}L2 is the interaction parameter between ordered and disordered phase in domain and is the mole fraction of the domain which represent the infinite length of mixed layer mineral and Q and C are the reaction progress parameter and arbitrary constant, respectively. This equation was used for the I/S mixed layer clay minerals to infer the relative stability of R1 type I/S mixed layer in the temperature range from 373K to 450K. The result of calculation suggest that, owing to the decrease in interaction parameter with increasing temperature. The interaction parameter decreases more rapidly with decreasing mole fraction of smectite in domain, which is consistent with the fact that the probability of finding the series smectite layer is lo in the domain with small mole fraction of smectite layers in natural system.
