This study investigates the physical properties of Murata Vortex Spinning (MVS) blended yarn with yarn count(20's, 30's, 40's) and blend ratio(Polyester 100, Polyester70:Cotton30, Polyester50:Cotton50, Polyester30:Cotton70, and Polyester50:Tencel40:Cotton10). This study evaluated tenacity, elongation, bending rigidity, bending hysteresis, hairiness coefficient, irregularity and twist number. The structure of MVS blended yarn influenced stress, strain, bending rigidity, bending hysteresis and the hairiness coefficient of MVS blended yarn decreased as the yarn count increased. MVS blended yarn consists of core and sheath. The core of MVS blended yarn is composed of a parallel fiber with a wrapping fiber that covers thecore fiber. This special structure of the MVS blended yarn effects the physical properties of the yarn; in addition, the mechanical properties of the component fibers influenced the stress, strain, bending rigidity, bending hysteresis and hairiness coefficient of MVS blended yarn with the blend ratio. Polyester decreases and cotton increases resulted in decreased physical properties. A similar polyester content increased the tencel and physical properties. Appropriate physical properties and a variety of touch expression can be realized through a correct blend ratio.
This study examined the effect of the blend ratio of wool and polyester fibers, yarn and fabric structural parameters to the appearance property and the formability of worsted fabrics. The mechanical properties of twenty types of manufactured worsted and PET/wool blend fabrics were measured using KES-FB and FAST systems. Garment formability increases with the thickness and cover factor as well as increases with wool content. The correlation between KES-FB and FAST system showed a relatively high correlation with an extensibility of 0.98, bending and shear rigidity 0.71; both were higher than polyester synthetic fiber. The correlation coefficient of garment formability between KES-FB and FAST systems was 0.93 and the correlation coefficient between formability and fabric extensibility was 0.8. These results were higher than those of bending and shear rigidity. This revealed that garment formability was influenced by wool content, cover factor and fabric thickness; however, wool content and fabric thickness were the most important factors for the seam pucker. The garment formability of the worsted fabrics can be predicted by fabric mechanical properties measured from KES-FB and FAST systems.

The separation of germanium and gallium ion with metal oxide was introduced into the development of $^{68}Ge/^{68}Ga$ generator. Germanium and gallium within mixed solution were respectively separated by using a liquid-liquid extraction and a column chromatographic method. The separation of Ge within high concentrated hydrochloric and sulfuric acid was conducted by the extraction to $CCl_4$ and the back-extraction to 0.05 M HCl. An optimum condition of the extraction by $CCl_4$ was in 5~7 M HCl and efficiency was around 80%. The gallium was selectively separated by using $Al_2O_3$ among metal oxides as sorbents from the mixed solution in 0.04~0.10 M HCl condition.

Artificial intelligence is being applied in various industrial fields to the development of the fourth industry and the construction of high-performance computing environments. In the medical field, deep learning learning such as cancer, COVID-19, and bone age measurement was performed using medical images such as X-Ray, MRI, and PET and clinical data. In addition, ICT medical fusion technology is being researched by applying smart medical devices, IoT devices and deep learning algorithms. Among these techniques, medical image-based deep learning learning requires accurate finding of medical image biomarkers, minimal loss rate and high accuracy. Therefore, in this paper, we would like to compare and analyze the performance of the Cross-Entropy function used in the image classification algorithm of the loss function that derives the loss rate in the chest X-Ray image-based deep learning learning process.
Background: As Actinobacillus pleuropneumonniae (APP) infection causes considerable losses in the pig industry, there is a growing need to develop effective therapeutic interventions that leverage host immune defense mechanisms to combat these pathogens. Objectives: To demonstrate the role of microRNA (miR)-127 in controlling bacterial infection against APP. Moreover, to investigate a signaling pathway in macrophages that controls the production of anti-microbial peptides. Methods: Firstly, we evaluated the effect of miR-127 on APP-infected pigs by cell count/enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Then the impact of miR-127 on immune cells was detected. The cytokines tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α and interleukin (IL)-6 were evaluated by ELISA. The expression of cytokines (anti-microbial peptides [AMPs]) was assessed using quantitative polymerase chain reaction. The expression level of IL-6, TNF-α and p-P65 were analyzed by western blot. The expression of p65 in the immune cells was investigated by immunofluorescence. Results: miR-127 showed a protective effect on APP-infected macrophage. Moreover, the protective effect might depend on its regulation of macrophage bactericidal activity and the generation of IL-22, IL-17 and AMPs by targeting sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor3 (SIPR3), the element involved in the Toll-like receptor (TLR) cascades. Conclusions: Together, we identify that miR-127 is a regulator of S1PR3 and then regulates TLR/nuclear factor-κB signaling in macrophages with anti-bacterial acticity, and it might be a potential target for treating inflammatory diseases caused by APP.
This study aimed to research the local production of conductive composite yarn, a source material used in textile-type electrodes and circuits. The physical properties of an internationally available conductive composite yarn were analyzed. To manufacture the conductive composite yarn, we selected one type of conductive yarn with Ag-coated polyamide of 150d 1 ply, along with two types of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) with circular and triangular cross-sections, both with 150d 1 ply. The conductive composite yarn samples were manufactured at 250, 500, 750, and 1000 turns per meter (TPM). For both conductive composite yarn samples manufactured from two types of PET filaments, the twist contraction rate of the sample with a triangular cross-section was stable. Among the samples, the tensile strength of the sample manufactured at 750 TPM was the highest at approximately 4.1gf/d; the overall linear resistance was approximately 5.0 Ω/cm, which is within the target range. It was confirmed that the triangular cross-section sample manufactured with 750 TPM had a similar linear resistance value to the advanced product despite the increase in the number of twists. In future studies, we plan tomanufacture samples by varying the twist conditions to derive the optimal conductive yarn suitable for smartwear and smart textile manufacturing conditions.

The aim of this study is to screen the strains of Bacillus spp. possessing safety, probiotic activity, and so on, which can be utilized as probiotic resource for using the feed and supplement food of companion animal. About 300 isolates were isolated from traditional Korean sauces, four isolates that did not have or produce the six kinds of B. cereus type vomiting and diarrhea toxin genes, ${\beta}$-hemolytic, and three kinds of carcinogenic enzymes were selected. Antibiotic gene retention, cell surface hydrophobicity, antibiotic sensitivity, and glucose utilization were analyzed for four isolates, and finally SRCM 100731 was selected. SRCM 100731 was named as Bacillus amyloliquefaciens SRCM 100731 16S rRNA sequencing analysis, and carried out optimization of cell growth for industrial applications such as pet food and feed. The effects of 14 different components on cell growth were investigated and three significant positive factors, molasses, sodium chloride, and potassium chloride were selected as the main factors based on a Plackett-Burman design. In order to find out optimal concentration on each constituent, we carried out central composite design. The predicted optimized concentrations were 7% molasses, 1.1% sodium chloride, 0.5% potassium chloride. Finally, an overall about 7-fold increase in dry cell weight yield ($12.6625{\pm}0.0658g/L$) was achieved using the optimized medium compared with the non-optimized medium ($1.8273{\pm}0.0214g/L$). This research is expected to be highly utilized in the growing pet industry by establishing optimal cultivation conditions for industrial application as well as screening Bacillus amyloliquefaciens SRCM 100731 as probiotic resource for companion animal.
