현직 한의사의 열등감 경험에 대한 내러티브 탐구: 질적연구 (Narrative Inquiry on Current Korean Medicine Doctors' Experience of Inferiority Complex: Qualitative Research)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to explore the vivid and in-depth stories, of inferiority experienced in the lives of current Korean medicine doctors. Methods: In-depth interviews were conducted, with two participants. Collected research data were analyzed, using the narrative inquiry method suggested by Clandinin and Connelly. Results: Common themes found in participants' narrative were summarized, by 'comparison with others' and 'various attempts to overcome inferiority feeling'. Conclusions: This study is meaningful at three levels: personal, social, and practical. Also, it provides readers with an opportunity to reflect on the way they cope with their inferiority complex, which various people experience in different contexts.

  • 본 논문은 MMORPG에 나타나는 서사 양식 전환과 그에 따른 사용자 정체성의 차이를 <블레이드 앤 소울>과 <다크폴>을 중심으로 분석한다. 그 결과 <블레이드 앤 소울>과 <다크폴>이 각각 이상적 서사를 중심으로 한 로망스 양식과 기반 서사가 부재하는 아이러니 양식을 지니고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 서사 양식의 전환은 사용자로 하여금 서사적 동기로 구성된 허구적 페르소나가 아닌 사용자의 사적 동기가 개입한 수행적 페르소나를 형성하도록 한다.

  • Narrative has broad domains. So it is related to the everything man faces in his daily life and also performed in various modes. Narrative is revealed through all media including a character, which is also applied to plastic art. And narrative objects formed beyond the differences in media aid forms of expression are commonly based on a language. The study on such objects which created a new conceit of narratology can be said to be a spiritual trend by which to understand the world and man from the viewpoint of a 'story'. Plastic art took high interest in narrative in the same period as the rise of postmodernist art in the latter half of the 20th century, which was also applied to sculpture. The researcher, therefore, investigated through the history of sculpture in the 20th century the process in which narrative was denied under the value system of modernism and reappeared with the quickening of postmodernism. And as a result this period could be briefly characterized by 'return to figure' and 'reappearance of narrative'. The is, such flow means that late sculpture converted its center of interest from simple geometric abstract forms to irregular, figurative images. The researcher chose as the subject of his study the work of Louise Bourgeois, who was judged to have performed narrative positively and successfully among a great number of performed narrative positively and successfully among a great number of postmodernist sculptors who adopted it as their own strategy of expression. As the central artist of postmodrnist sculpture, She expressed human desire and condition as sexuality through the introspection of her own personal experience in contrast to the character of pop art sensitive to external world. The researcher borrowed narrative semiotics as a method of analyzing more elaborately the problem about the generation of narrative shown in her works. For it, he selected as the sample work for analysis Bourgeois's , which were judged to contain narrative most abundantly and as the metaphor of a gaze and recollection presented a new woman self that sublimed love, hatred, and loneliness. The narrative in her works are characterized by introspection questioning one's own trauma. It has independent domain and characteristics and clearly reveals narrative and content-centered characteristics, which are commonly discovered in postmodernist sculpture. The researcher could more concretely and definitely understand the characteristics of narrative through figurative images by analyzing the sample work. The researcher wanted to call your attention to the fact that the sculpture in the late 20th century contained narrative commonly and uniformly despite being characterized by various expressions and modes. And the focused on highlighting the fact that the narrative was more effectively revealed through figurative images of human body and simultaneously analyzing the formalizing process and structure for narrative. Besides he wanted to argue that the position of narrative defining the characteristics of sculpture should be valued more justly. Also, such acceptance of narrative, which is discovered in the sculpture, will have to be understood as the characteristics of the period reflecting the cultural aspect of the present time.

산욕기 경험을 통한 "엄마 되어감"에 관한 내러티브 연구 (A Narrative Study on Becoming a Mother through Experiences in the Puerperal Period)

  • Using the narrative method of qualitative research, this study of the puerperal period (6 weeks just after delivery) analyzed how mothers, after birthing their first child, changed from women to mothers. The survey of 8 mothers was implemented by personal interviews, talking on the phone, or chatting on the internet 5 to 7 times each over one year. Results showed that mothers first realized that they were changing from women to mothers by experiencing sudden physical changes through delivery and lactation and by such childrearing behaviors as feeding, bathing, and putting their child to bed. Mothers recognized this process was facilitated by relationships with others owing to their shared interest in the child.

실험영화의 구조적 특성 -미국의 구조영화를 중심으로- (Characteristics of Structure in Experimental Film -focused on American Structure film-)

  • 실험영화작가들은 필연적으로 영화가 가진 물리적인 속성과 한계 그리고 영화만의 단독적인 요소들을 자신들의 영화창작의 핵심으로 간주하였다. 관습적인 영화 규범을 거부하는 태도는 영화의 작동원리에 대한 새로운 관심을 통해서도 강화되었다. 실험영화작가들은 영화의 메커니즘이 어떤 방식으로 영화의 최종 결과물에 영향을 주는지에 대해 질문하였다. 실험영화에서는 극영화의 내러티브에 상응하는 '특정한 전개 구조' 필요하고 이를 위해서 현재의 시점에서 이미지의 흐름에 주목하였다. 움직임의 환영을 만들어 내는 이미지의 연쇄 개념은 다양한 영화적 실험을 가능하게 하였다. 특히, 미국의 구조영화작가들은 이미지들이 연속적으로 움직이는 방식을 변형시킴으로써 관습적인 극영화와는 다른 영화의 의미와 정서를 전달하는 방법들을 모색하였다. 이를 통해서 관습적인 내러티브의 성격과 기능에 대해 문제를 제기하고 새로운 영화전개방식에 대해 탐구하였다. 이러한 구조영화의 전통은 실험영화를 이해하는 핵심적인 개념이며 디지털 영화제작 환경으로 변모하고 있는 오늘날에도 여전히 유용한 접근방식이다.

  • 본 논문은 사용자가 모바일 위치기반 증강현실 기술을 이용하여 특정 지역에서 실시간으로 포착하는 현실 이미지와 과거 이미지를 중첩시켜 생성하는 합성 이미지의 의미를 고찰하였다. 위치기반 증강현실 기술로 합성된 이미지는 가상의 과거 이미지를 현재 포착하고 있는 이미지에 공간적 유사성으로 중첩시킨 결과이다. 현재와 과거의 두 상이한 시간 서사가 동일 공간에 실시간으로 존재하는 새로운 합성 이미지인 것이다. 이를 위해 위치기반 증강현실 기술 기반 모바일 애플리케이션을 개발하고, 다층 서사 기록 주체라는 측면에서 사용자의 개입 과정을 분석하였다. 또한 유사 연구 결과와의 비교로 이미지 중첩과정에서 새로운 의미를 부여하기 위한 사용자의 개입이 합성 이미지 결과물에 다층 서사를 부여하는 핵심임을 발견하였다. 개발된 애플리케이션은 일반 사용자들이 손쉽게 다층 서사 기반의 합성 이미지 획득이 가능하여 향후 모바일 위치 기반 서비스나 문화 콘텐츠 활용 서비스로 활용 가능하다.

'아모레퍼시픽' 브랜드 사이트의 스토리텔링 연구 - '최소 서사'론과 스크립트 이론의 적용을 통해 (A Study on the Storytelling of 'Amore Pacific' Brand Site -Through Applying 'Minimum Narrative' Theory and Script Theory)

  • Today the company's brand sites are in tendency locating as a handy method to administrate company vision, value and image. So this study tried to examine the aspects of storytelling around Amore Pacific's brand site. To secure the discussion's centrality and concreteness, two issues are considered to be aimed in methodology. First, the menus of relevant site were examined to see if they are securing minimal narrative. This was an attempt to discuss the minimum narrativity that target text is supposed to possess, to objectify little more the term 'storytelling.' After considering the menus of relevant site through narratological ideas of Gerald Prince, the menus that satisfy the level of minimum narrative were hardly seen. Even 'OUR STORY', showing the intention of unraveling the vision and values within the company brand by stories, is not seemed to be reaching universal, objective storytelling. Second, pragmatic, reception theory were applied as another standard to judge storytelling possibilities of Amore Pacific's brand site. Roger C. Schank's script theory, being considered in the field of cognitive linguistics and cognitive psychology, became a handy tool for examining the interactions and its meaning between brand sites and its visitors. As a result, the relevant site could be seen as attempting storytelling following time sequence, through narrator kindly explaining 'visual image-event.' And it was conjecturable that, because of such function of narrator, visitors finishes storytelling in a personal shape by operating internal story based script. This study examined the level and methods of storytelling limited in online environment called as company brand site. But more studies are needed to be in progress, such as about the ways for company websites or brand sites to have an effective, continuous influence on potential consumers, narrator set-up ways suitable for character of subordinate menus, organizations of minimum narrative and so on.

온라인 개인 게임 방송의 스토리텔링 분석 (Analysis of Storytelling in On-line Personal Game Broadcasting)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 온라인 개인 게임 방송에 나타난 스토리텔링의 요소 및 특징을 분석하고, 이를 통해 온라인 개인 게임 방송의 특이점을 도출하는데 있다. 이를 위해 국내외 온라인 개인 게임 방송의 대표적 사례로 유튜브 채널 와 <대도서관TV>를 연구대상으로 선정하고, 바흐친의 카니발 이론을 적용하여 방송의 스토리텔링을 분석했다. 그 결과 온라인 개인 게임 방송은 외부적으로는 매스 미디어의 방송 포맷을 변형했고, 내부적으로는 게임 텍스트 및 게임 환경을 재해석하는 과정을 거쳐 새로운 서사적 사건을 구성했다. 이 과정에서 방송 진행자 특유의 다성적 발화가 나타났으며, 비극과 희극을 역전을 통해서 오디언스로부터 카타르시스를 불러 일으켰다.

중도시각장애인 부인의 위기 직면 및 극복 경험에 관한 내러티브 연구 (A Narrative Study on the Experiences of Facing and Coping the Crisis in the Wives of Men Having Visual Impairment)

  • Purpose: This study examined the life experiences of the wives of men who were born with normal vision but gradually developed a visual impairment, with particular focus on their way of facing and coping with their life crisis. Method: A narrative approach was used to not only understand women's experiences within sociocultural contexts, but also reveal the subjective meaning of their personal life stories through their own voices. A purposive sample of three participants having husbands unexpectedly diagnosed with visual impairment during their marriage was recruited. The data were analyzed using the narrative analysis methods suggested by Clandinin and Connelly. Results: The wives took the crisis of their husbands' visual impairment as an economic crisis of the family. They faced a variety of difficulties, including extreme despair, role changes, and economic burdens. On the other hand, they tried to keep the family secure through a range of coping strategies that were motivated by compassion toward the husbands, maternal affection for the children, and a sense of responsibility for their families. Conclusion: This study revealed the need for financial support for temporarily disadvantaged families. In addition, various nursing and counseling programs for the family members will also be needed to help recover the family functions.

구술로 본 1970년대 이후 전주지역 단독주택 부엌의 변화 (The change of Kitchen in a Single Detached House in Jeonju City after 70's through Oral Life History method)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the change of kitchen in a single detached house in Jeonju city after 70's. Oral life history method which has 12 women's personal narratives and 17 women's personal narratives with written reports was used as a research method of this study. The results of the study were obtained as follows: 1) It was beginning about late 1970 year that heating system and cooking place were separated in a house. 2) Many kitchens were reconstructed for indoor stand-up work place from late 1970's to the early 1980's. 3) There were major factors such as heating system, cooking fuel, and work center in the change of kitchen in old houses. 4) The kitchen toward the center with a living room was appeared in the floor plan of modem house after 1990's. The symbolic words of the indoor kitchen that work for women were 'warmness' and 'convenience'.
