The purpose of this study was to verify whether the entrepreneurial capacity indicator utilized by the pre - founder can predict the start-up's performances in advance. The questionnaire for this study was measured at a single point in food, clothing, cosmetics, and coffee industries, which account for more than 50% of self-employment in korean economy. A total of 1,600 questionnaires were distributed and retrieved. And the final results were obtained through regression analysis. The empirical results show that the entrepreneurial capability index was related to the entrepreneurial performances. In particular, job satisfaction was found to be significant, but some significant results were found in the detailed indicators of financial aspect, and the significance was confirmed in terms of the necessity of further research among the entrepreneurial competency indicators composed of single indicators. From the policy point of view, it was suggested that entrepreneurial capability index can be a good tool to increase the entrepreneurial performance of the entrepreneur. In particular, it was confirmed that personal characteristics, entrepreneurial knowledge, entrepreneurial execution capacity, and external environment items were closely related to job satisfaction among measured competency indicators. Self-employed businesses, such as cosmetics and food, ware based on their own know-how and technology, and therefore, they were more likely to be influenced by their ability to run and business environment than others.

This study is to answer the question, "How can we efficiently improve our righteous and good character in the elementary school students?", which is one of the core goals of elementary education. Considering the cultural base of Korea that has the tradition of Confucianism based moral education, Confucian idea that has been verified and accumulated for a long time also shows clearly its own useful value in contemporary moral education. The effort to reorganize such Confucian idea into a character education program and reflect it positively in education, therefore, will be meaningful. Wigijihak (爲己之學: study for yourself) that goes for completeness of moral self, Jungyongjido (中庸之道: positioned in a good balance) that goes for an even life without 'too much and too little' and Hoyeonjigi (浩然之氣: big heart) that encourages moral activeness will contribute largely to realization of 'education for whole person'.

As the "Partial Amendment to the Vocational Competency Development Act" was passed, and the mandatory refresher training was legislated in March 2020, HRD education institutions has prepared a plan for the improved refresher training to strengthen the competency of vocational training teachers and to improve the quality of refresher training. However, as demand for refresher training is concentrated in partial occupations, it is necessary prepare a separate plan to recognize personal learning as a refresher training for a minority of teachers who are not provided with a training. Therefore, this study aims to identify areas of a minor training occupations that don't exist many participants for a refresher training and to derive ways to recognize their multiple education experiences and participations instead of attending a refresher training. To this end, literature review, analysis of current situation, consultation with stakeholders, and written interviews with experts were conducted. As a result, a minority of training occupations was defined as type 1 and type 2 and ways of the recognition of refresher training for minority of training occupations which embrace various educational types were derived. Lastly, discussions and suggestions on the expansion of the scope of the recognition of refresher training for minority of training occupations were provided.

In this paper, we propose and design an NCS-based job matching system for individuals with disabilities. This system allows users with disabilities to access it, input basic information (personal and disability-related details), and take a simple test related to job performance. The system then provides NCS job-related information appropriate to their type and degree of disability. To effectively link various NCS-based jobs, it is essential to consider the degree of disability for each type of disability. However, most evaluation tools target specific types of disabilities or assess the vocational abilities of individuals with disabilities in a limited manner, focusing only on cognitive levels or certain physical functions. This makes it challenging to apply these tools to an NCS-based job matching system for individuals with disabilities. Therefore, in this paper, we utilize the ICF coresets for VR to assess the cognitive levels or physical functions required for performing specific jobs. Additionally, we use the NCS vocational competency evaluation tools to determine the levels of vocational competencies required for performing specific jobs. By doing so, we match NCS-based jobs according to the type and degree of disability. The proposed NCS-based job matching system relies on the user's interaction with the system, which may pose challenges for visually impaired individuals or those with intellectual and autism spectrum disabilities who have low literacy levels. Enhancing the accessibility of this system could enable individuals with disabilities to receive recommendations for NCS-based jobs that suit their vocational abilities.
The aim of this paper is to extend the TOPSIS(Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution) to the fuzzy environment for solving the new professor selection problem in a university. In order to achieve the goal, the rating of each candidate and the weight of each criterion are described by linguistic terms which can be expressed in trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. In this paper, a vertex method is proposed to calculate the distance between two trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. According to the concept of the TOPSIS, a closeness coefficient is defined to determine the ranking order of all candidates. This research derived; 1) 4 evaluation criteria(research results, education and research competency, personality, major suitability) for new professor selection, 2) the 5 step procedure of the proposed fuzzy TOPSIS method for the group decision, 3) priorities of 4 candidates in the new professor selection case. The results of this paper will be useful to practical expert who is interested in analyzing fuzzy data and its multi-criteria decision-making tool for personal selection problem in personal management. Finally, the theoretical and practical implications of the findings were discussed and the directions for future research were suggested.
Purpose: This study was performed to develop the Job Satisfaction Scale for Clinical Nurses (JSS-CN) and verify its validity and reliability. Methods: A preliminary 42-item version of the JSS-CN was developed through literature reviews and in-depth interviews. The draft scale was developed using thirty-seven items selected following content validity evaluation. Finally, thirty-three items with response options on a 5-point Likert scale were selected based on internal consistency reliability and construct validity. Subsequently, the test-retest reliability and convergent validity of the JSS-CN were verified. Results: Six factors, namely, recognition from the organization and professional achievement, personal maturation through the nursing profession, interpersonal interaction with respect and recognition, accomplishment of accountability as a nurse, display of professional competency, and stability and job worth, were identified, which explained 59.7% of the total variance. The JSS-CN's Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ for the total scale was .95, and the intra-class correlation coefficient was .90. The correlation coefficient between the scores of the JSS-CN and Slavitt's scale was .75, and that between the JSS-CN and job performance was .53. Conclusion: Results showed that the JSS-CN has good reliability and validity. Therefore, it is concluded that the JSS-CN could be a useful tool for the measurement of the job satisfaction of clinical nurses in Korea.

Purpose: This study attempts to examine the extent to which competencies were identified in a Korean community nursing practice based on the 11 core competencies required by US health nurses. Methods: This was a descriptive research study, and the subjects of this study were 11 students who were in a four-year nursing course. Data were collected by means of a questionnaire from October 19 to November 22, 2016. Results: Core competencies in total were practiced in 60.0% to 98.5% of schools in Korea. Among these, competencies corresponding to the practice level of 'high' were identified as 'communicating effectively with community nursing subjects and colleagues, and accepting various personal characteristics without criticism or prejudice'. On the other hand, competencies corresponding to the practice level of 'low' were identified as 'to comply with social justice, public good, public health principles, and leadership in a community nursing practice'. Conclusion: This study can be used as a resource to categorize the competence of nursing students expected in the field of community nursing. Based on a careful review of core competencies with low practice, it is necessary to seek specific practical strategies to strengthen these competencies in the future.
Recent educational policy by coalition government in UK is called knowledge turn. A core competency-based curriculum based on the relative knowledge of the social constructivism and postmodernism has been strongly endorsed by the previous new labor government. The view of knowledge regards knowledge as constructed socially, and emphasizes personal everyday knowledge. But the knowledge-based curriculum based on absolutism is strongly endorsed by the current coalition government. It emphasizes objectivity of knowledge. Social realism criticizes both absolutism and relativism on knowledge. Social realism places disciplinary knowledge above everyday knowledge, and considers disciplinary knowledge as powerful knowledge. But it doesn't mean that social realism neglects everyday knowledge. Rather, social realism empathizes relating disciplinary knowledge to everyday knowledge. Recent Living Geography and YPG(Young People's Geographies) project by the Geographical Association is based on the social realism. The aims of the project is to connect academic geography related to young people's geographies with student's everyday geographies, and academic geographers as mentors, tutors and students together are to make school geography curriculum through conversation.

In this study, a concept learning strategy emphasizing social consensus during discussion (SCS) was developed. The instructional effects of this strategy were compared with those of cognitive conflict strategy (CCS) and traditional instruction in the aspects of students' achievement, conceptions, communication apprehension, perceptions of science learning environment, and perceptions of small group discussion. There were no significant differences in the scores of an achievement test. For the students of low communication competency, however, the scores of the CCS group were significantly higher than those of the traditional group. The adjusted mean of the SCS group was higher than those of the other groups in a conceptions test. The social consensus strategy was also found to be more effective in learning concept for those who were more competent in communicating. No significant differences were found in the communication apprehension. The scores of three groups did not differ significantly in the subcategories of 'personal relevance' and 'students' negotiation' of the test of the perceptions of science learning environment. However, the students in the SCS group scored higher in 'participation'. The students in the SCS group perceived small group discussions more positively.
Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate the perception and practice of the infection control by empowerment in the dental hygienists. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 200 dental hygienists in Gyeongbuk from January 3 to February 20, 2013. Data were analyzed by SPSS 12.0 program. The instrument of impowerment was adapted from Spreitzer and consisted of 12 questions including meaning(4 questions), competency(4 questions), self-decision(4 questions), and impact(4 questions). Impowerment was score by Likert 5 scale and higher score means higher impowerment. The instrument for hand washing recognition and practice was adapted from Kim and consisted of hand washing(5 questions), personal protective clothing management(5 questions), contaminated appliance management(3 questions), sterilization(3 questions), and infection control environment(8 questions). The empowerment instrument was score by Likert 5 scale and the mean was 3.83 points. Based on 3.83, infection control recognition and practice were divided into upper group and lower group. Cronbach alpha was 0.951 in empowerment, 0.931 in recognition, and 0.924 in practice in the study. Results: Based on the average points of 3.83, the groups were divided into two groups including upper group and lower group. The upper group showed higher score in hand washing than the lower group. In the protective clothing management, the upper group changed the mask at one-hour interval(p<0.001). Conclusions: In the viewpoint of empowerment, it had a significant influence on the perception and practice of the dental infection control in the dental hygienists.
