  • Korea has many problems due to the asphalt pavement or impermeable pavement. Many methods are being implemented to improve water circulation. Among them, permeable packaging materials are used. However, existing permeable packaging materials have a problem of causing efflorescence and clogging the pores. The pores of the permeable packing material are clogged and the permeability is lost. This leads to economic problems and product problems. The purpose of this study was to develop a block to prevent efflorescence.

Characteristics of Environment-Friendly Porous Polymer Concrete for Permeable Pavement

  • This study was performed to develop environment-friendly porous polymer concrete utilizing recycled aggregates [RPPC] for permeable pavement of uniform quality with high permeability and flexural strength as well as excellent freezing and thawing resistance. The void ratios of RPPC are in the range of 15$\sim$$24\%$, showing the tendency that it is reduced to a great extent as the mixing ratio of the binder increases. The compressive and flexural strength of RPPC are in the range of 19$\sim$26 MPa and 6.2$\sim$7.4 MPa, respectively. Also, it shows a tendency to increase as the mixing ratio of the binder and filler increases. The permeability coefficients of RPPC are in the range of $6.3\times$$10_{-1}$$\sim$$1.5\times$$10_{-2}$cm/s. The flexural loads of RPPC are in the range of 18$\sim$32 KN. The weight reduction ratios obtained from the test for freezing and thawing resistance are in the range of 1.1$\sim$$2.4\%$ after 300 cycles of repeated freezing and thawing of the specimen for all mixes. The relative compressive strengths of RPPC after 300 cycles of freezing and thawing against the compressive strength before freezing and thawing test are in the range of 89$\sim$$96\%$.

오버레이용 투수성 콘크리트의 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Water-Permeable Concretes for Overlay)

  • The purpose of this study is no examine the combination effect on strength preperties of water-permeable concretes mixed with redispersible polymer, silica fume and polypropylene fibers for overlay in pavement. The water-permeable concrete with a water-cement ration of 25%, polymer-cement ratios of 0 to 10%, silica fume contents of 0 to 10% and polypropylene fiver contents of 0 to 1.5% are prepared, and tested for flexural strength, compressive strength and water permeability. It is concluded concretes are obtained at a polypropylene fiber content of 1.0% and a silica fume content of 10% with a void filling ratio of 50%. And the water-permeable concretes with a flexural strength of 14.1~28.0kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$, a compressive strength of 71.2~128.0kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$, and a coefficient of permeability of 1.22~2.52cm/s at a void filling ratio of 30% can be prepared. Also water-permeable concretes having flexural strength of 24.9~57.9kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$, a compressive strength of 83.8~268.5kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$, and a coefficient of permeability of 0.24~1.04cm/s at a void filling ratio of 50% can be prepared in the consideration of the mix proportioning factors.

폐타이어 분말을 이용한 탄성 투수성 도로포장재에 관한 연구 (Study on an Elastic and Permeable Pavement using Scrap Tire)

  • 폐타이어는 현재 재활용 범위가 제한되어 있고, 매우 단순한 용도로 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 폐타이어를 탄성과 투수성을 갖는 포장재로서 활용할 수 있는 지를 알아보았다. 도로포장재가 갖는 주요 인자인 압축강도 시험 결과 압축강도에 영향을 미치는 인자는 고무분말 크기, 골재 크기 및 바인더의 성질이 주요 인자임을 알 수 있었고, 또한 투수성은 골재의 크기와 분말의 크기에 의존하였다. 본 연구에서 시도된 탄성 투수성 도로 포장재는 기존의 다공성 콘크리트의 값보다 압축강도는 1.4배, 투수성은 최대 116배 향상된 결과를 나타냈다.

  • Although porous concrete is resently used as a pavement at a parking lot, a public squre and a bicycle road, we use without enough examining. most the maintenance of quality for porous concrete is only dealt with strength and color tone. also, there is not yet enough fundamental data about dynamical properties for strength, rate of void and water permeability. even when it is applied to at the scene, it is been a matter. Accodingly in this study analyzed influences through the dynamical properties, combination, and time to vibration. After the analyzation, they investigated peculiar dynamics which are strength of porous concrete, rate of void, and water permeability follow the rate of increase on an admixture making pozzolan reaction. This is purpose to improve capacity of the sidewalk permeable concrete and development of the economical technique for pavement.

포장재료의 심리적 특성 분석 (Psychological Character Analysis of Pavement Materials)

  • Recently, the importance of choosing correct pavement materials has been increasing in urban spaces and streets. Much research regarding the pavement theory and construction method have been conducted, but analysis in terms of human psychological character has not yet been performed. The purpose of this study is to investigate the psychological characters to 12 pavement materials, that are commonly used in our urban spaces and streets. The results of the psychological character for each pavement material can be summarized as follows: 1. The psychological characters to each pavement material were as follows: ① Clay embodies a natural, traditional, soft and intimate psychological character; ② Pebble stone has a natural, hard, cool and intimate psychological character; ③ Turf grass incorporates an intimate and soft psychological character; ④ Ceramic brick has an artificial and hard psychological character; ⑤ Tile pavement has a modern, artificial, hard and cool psychological character; ⑥ Water permeable concrete has a modern and artificial psychological character; ⑦ Flag stone has a natural psychological character; ⑧ Granite has a modern and artificial psychological character; ⑨ Portland concrete has an artificial and hard psychological character; ⑩ Small compacted brick has an artificial, dynamic and modern psychological character; ⑪ Wood block pavement has a natural and traditional psychological character; ⑫ Asphalt concrete pavement has a modern, hard and artificial character. 2. On the results of the cluster analysis regarding psychological indexes for 12 pavement materials, pavement materials were categorized in 3 clusters. Among them, one cluster was mainly used as the most popular pavement material in our urban spaces and streets. From this point of view, psychological character for pavement material in our urban spaces and streets was not as various as we expected. 3. In conclusion, the proper selection of pavement materials was very important and the factors affecting the human psychological character should be considered in the design of urban spaces and streets.

박층 저소음.배수성 아스팔트 혼합물 개발 (A Development of Thin Quiet-Permeable Asphalt Concrete)

  • This paper describes a research study on the durability and strength properties of thin quiet-permeable asphalt concrete. Such asphalt mixes have high porosity, which offers significantly better drainages than normal mix designs. However, these materials also exhibit poor durability and strength limiting their use in pavement application. To remedy this, fiber and polymer modifiers have been proposed. All samples were added to modified binder which were prepared with or without the modifiers and fiber using Marshall mix procedures and were experimentally tested using various standardized testing procedures including percent air void for porosity, cantabro test and marshall stability. In general, the results of marshall stability showed that modified mixtures were equivalent to unmodified mixtures. Especially, the result of cantabro tested modified mixtures was superior to unmodified mixtures.

재생골재와 폴리머를 이용한 포장용 포러스 콘크리트의 역학적 특성 (Mechanical Properties of Porous Concrete For Pavement Using Recycled Aggregate and Polymer)

  • 본 연구는 건설 폐기물로 발생하는 폐 콘크리트에서 분리한 재생골재의 투수성 포장 재료로서의 유효이용을 위하여 포러스 콘크리트의 재생골재 혼입률과 폴리머분산제의 혼입률에 따른 역학적 특성 및 내구성을 평가하였다. 시험결과, 포장용 포러스 콘크리트의 공극률 및 투수계수는 재생골재의 혼합비율이 증가함에 따라 다소 증가하고 폴리머 혼입률 증가에 따라 감소하는 경향을 나타내었으나 폴리머를 $20\%$혼입한 경우 국내 포장용 투수 콘크리트에 관한 규정($8\%$ 및 0.01cm/sec)을 만족하였으며, 압축강도 및 휨강도는 재생골재의 혼입률이 증가함에 따라 감소하였으나, 폴리머의 혼입률이 증가함에 따라 크게 증가하는 경향을 나타내어 폴리머를 $10\%$ 이상 혼입하면 재생골재를 $75\%$ 혼합$\cdot$사용한 경우에도 국내 포장 콘크리트에 관한 규정(18MPa 및 4.5MPa 이상)을 만족하였다. 또한 미끄럼저항성은 재생골재의 혼입률이 증가에 따라 BPN값은 증가하였으나, 폴리머를 혼입함에 의해 BPN값은 감소하는 경향을 나타내었으며, 내마모성 및 동결융해저항성은 쇄석골재만을 사용한 경우에 비해 재생골재의 혼합비율이 증가함에 따라 감소하였으나, 폴리머를 혼입한 경우에는 현저히 개선되어 폴리머를 $10\%$ 혼입한 경우 혼입하지 않은 경우에 비하여 내마모성 및 내동해성은 각각 약 $8.6\%$ 및 3.8배정도 개선되는 것으로 확인되었다.

  • This study is analyzed mechanical properties and durability of pavement of a road permeability porous concrete to mix polymer for the enhance of porous concrete of performance and durability. As a result, void ratio showed the tendency which the mixing rate of polymer is decreased a little as increased. And, the influence of void ratio according to the kind of polymer has the difference, but void ratio showed the tendency which the mixing rate of polymer is decreased a little as increased. Compressive strength showed the tendency which the mixing rate of polymer is increased a little as increased. but, it showed the tendency to be reduced rather when above $20\%$ it mixed polymer mixing rate $10\%$ at apex.

단입도 골재에 따른 투수콘크리트의 투수성능에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Permeable Concrete Performance by aggregate)

  • 본 연구는 근래에 도시가 발전함에 따라 콘크리트의 재료인 시멘트를 활용한 도시의 포장비율이 증가하는 추세이며, 이들 대부분의 포장재료는 아스팔트 콘크리트나 시멘트 콘크리트 등의 불수투수성 재료로 구성되어 있어 이에 따른 문제점과 피해가 발생되고 있다. 1970년 이후 선진 외국에서는 투수성 아스콘의 개발이 활발히 진행되어 보도, 주차장, 광장 및 자전거로 등 여러 지역에서 사용되고 있다. 투수콘크리트는 보통콘크리트의 사용재료를 이용하여 투수성이 우수한 복합재료의 제조를 목적으로 하고 있으므로 제조공정상의 순서, 방법 및 배합 조건에 의한 변수가 많은 재료이며, 이에 대한 배합설계 방법의 연구가 중요하다. 투수콘크리트의 제조는 콘크리트 내부에 연속공극율의 확보, 균일한 구조에 의한 강도가 중요하며, 이에 투수콘크리트 공극형태의 변화에 따라 투수에 영향을 끼치게 된다. 따라서, 본 연구는 연속공극과 균일한 구조를 가지고 있는 단입도 골재를 이용하여 투수콘크리트의 투수성능을 효과적으로 이용하는데 연구의 목적이 있다.
