양측 여자형 다분할 LDM의 특성해석 (Characteristics Analysis of Double Side Excitation Type Multi-separated LDM)

  • 산업의 발달에 따라 선형 직류 모터의 용용이 확대되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 가동차석형 양측식 다분할 여자 LDM의 해석을 연구대상으로 하였다. 본 LDM의 구조에서 가동자는 큰 추력을 얻도록 영구지석 6개를 사용하였으며, 고정자는 철심의 포화를 억제 하도록 다 분할형 권선을 성층하였다. 또한 양측 여자 권선은 지그재그형으로 성 층하여 추력의 리플을 억제하고, 정추력을 발생할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 여기에 다 분할시 영구자석대 권선 폭의 비가 중요하므로 본 연구에서는 똑비를 1 : 1, 1 : 0.84 및 1 : 0.5의 3개 부분으로 나누어 해석하였다. 해석 방법은 복잡한 수치해석의 유한요소법 보다는 퍼미언스 및 자기저항 법을 이용하여 파라며터를 계산하였다. 제작된 실험장 치를 통하여 추력을 측정한 결과는 전 변위에 대해서 정추력이 발생함을 알 수 있었다.

복합장 해석에 의한 전자력 구동방식의 마이크로미러 설계 (Design of an Electromagnetically-driven Micromirror Through the Coupled Physics Analyses)

  • A micromirror for a laser display system actuated by the electromagnetic force induced by the surface coil and the permanent magnet was designed and analyzed through the coupled physics analyses incorporating the electromagnetics, mechanics, and electrothermal analysis because the mechanical rotation of the micromirror is driven by the electromagnetic driving force. The proposed micromirror has two torsion beams to sustain the mirror plate which has surface coils on the top and the two permanent magnets exists on both sides of the micromirror for an external magnetic field source. The designed micromirror has the resonant frequency of 3.82kHz. When the magnetic field of the permanent magnet is 0.4T, the coil has 4 turns, and the current density of coil is 3.6A/$mm^2$, the estimated z axis displacement of the mirror plate edge is 0.23mm which corresponds to the rotation angle of $14.2^{\circ}$. When considering the joule heating in the current-carrying coil, the maximum temperature of the mirror plate is obtained as 300.045K, which induces the negligible changes in the rotation angle and the resistance of the coil.

  • This paper is proposed a new linear actuator with the permanent magnet on the mover. This linear actuator is designed to produce the vibration of a osillator. In order to evaluate its dynamic performance, the equivalent coupling parameter between mechanical and electromagnetic equations of the linear actustor, which is considered the magnetic nonlinear phenomena, is analyzed by the finite element method and estimated the thrust, displacement and acceleration with the simualation values and the experimenta ones.

  • This paper presents the design and the control of three degree-of-freedom(DOF) fine positioning device based on an electro-magnetic force. The device is designed by use of a magnetic circuit theory and it is capable of fine motion due to the electro-magnetic force. The device consists of permanent magnets, yokes and coils. The magnetic fluxes generated from the permanent magnets constitute magnetic paths through steel, whereas the coils are arranged into the gap between two surfaces of the yokes. Therefore, by supplying current to the coils, the coils are capable of some motions due to Lorentz forces. For the optimal design of the actuating system, the system parameters are defined and investigated under the given constraints. From the system modeling in small displacement, three decoupled equations of motion are obtained. To get better performance of the system, a PID controller is implemented. Experimental results are presented in terms of time response and accuracy.

  • The conventional wheelsets has disadvantages of potential oscillatory instability. In the paper, a design of the permanent magnet synchronous machine of independent-wheel type for near-surface is performed. Also, the lateral displacement control algorithm is proposed. The subcale bogie can maintain the centering by this algorithm. The design of the machine is verified by BEMF. And the validity and usefulness of the lateral displacement control algorithm is verified by experimental results.

  • This paper presents the static thrust of a hybid-type LPM by coenergy method. First, the nonlinealities of the permanent magnet, the primary core and the secondary are interpolated by the cubic spline method. Then the equivalent magnetic circuit including airgap reluctance, which is a function of displacement, modelled by the permeance method is obtained. From the derivative of coenergy with displacement computed by Newton Raphson method, the static thrust is calculated at each displacement with certain exciting current.

자기변형 마이크로 작동기의 설계 (Design of a Magnetostrictive MicroActuator)

  • This paper presents the development of a magnetostrictive microactuator. The structural and functional requirements are as follows: it must be a millimeter structure and must achieve controllable displacement with nanometer resolution. Finite Element Analysis(FEA) is used to determine the structure with the most uniform and highest magnetic flux density along the Terfenol-D rod. The microactuator prototype 1 is designed and made based on the FEA. It is observed that the microactuator show some level of hysteresis and that it produces 25 newton in force and 3 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ in displacement with 1.5 amperes of current, and resolution of 250 nm per 0.1 amperes. To improve the performance of the microactuator prototype 1, microactuator prototype 2 is made again with a permanent magnet (PM). It is observed that the microactuator prototype 2 gene.ates 3.3 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ in displacement with 0.9 amperes of current. It means that the microactuator prototype 2 performs better than the microactuator prototype 1.

  • Electromagnetic system of motor is being minimized by superior magnetic material and advanced design technology. But this type of motor causes a serious vibration. This is a big problem of motor operation. To decrease a vibration, motor is need to be designed considering mechanical vibration.   • 본 논문은 매입형 영구자석 동기 전동기(IPMSM)의 고속출력 구동을 위한 제어 특성 해석을 시뮬레이션을 통해 나타낸다. IPMSM의 d축,q축 인덕턴스인 Ld, Lq 선형모델과 비선형 모델의 선형 제어와 비선형제어를 실험과 시뮬레이션에 의하여 비교 분석 하였다. 본 논문은 IPMSM에 최적화된 제어 시스템 구연에 있어서 기초 자료가 될 것이다.

  • This paper deals with the cogging torque analysis of a BLDC Motor, which has the axial displacement of its rotor. In order to improve the torque performance of the BLDC motor, Brushless motor is commonly designed to minimize its cogging torque. Therefore, a skewed model is used to reduce the cogging torque. However, even though the rotor or stator is skewed, the cogging torque could be increased by the axial displacement of the rotor, which occurs when the BLDC Motor is manufactured. Therefore, this paper investigates the effect of the axial displacement of the rotor on the cogging torque. In order to investigate the effect, an analysis method, which is 3D-EMCN in combination with 2D-FEM, is proposed to analyze the cogging torque of the BLDC motor with the axial displacement of its rotor, and the result of the analysis is verified by comparison with the experimental result.
