This paper proposes FNN based PI controller for high performance control of SynRM Drive. Traditional PI controller can't be obtained good performance because it has fixed gain. Therefore, in this paper, FNN based PI controller that gain of PI controller is tuned use FNN proposes. FNN based PI controller proposed in this paper can be obtained excellent performance more than traditional PI controller. Algorithm proposed in this paper make a analysis and prove valid.

Current group key agreement protocols(often tree-based) involve unnecessary delays because members with low-performance computer systems can join group key computation. These delays are caused by the computations needed to balance a key tree after membership changes. An alternate approach to group key generation that reduces delays is the dynamic prioritizing mechanism of filtering low performance members in group key generation. This paper presents an efficient tree-based group key agreement protocol and the results of its performance evaluation. The proposed approach to filtering of low performance members in group key generation is scalable and it requires less computational overhead than conventional tree-based protocols.
This study investigated the effectiveness of mathematical activities based on picture books for the development of children's problem-solving performance. Subjects were 72 children divided in two groups of 36 each; one group had mathematical activities based on picture books and the other group had of pencil-and-paper tasks. The problem-solving performance was measured in terms of the test by Ward(1993) with a few modification for pretest and posttest. Mathematical activities were performed 12 times over a 6 week period. The data was analyzed by Analysis of Covariance(ANCOVA). The group taught by picture books significantly improved mathematical problem-solving performance.

In this paper, we propose the novel tracking method which uses the weighted discriminative correlation filter (DCF). We also propose the PSPR instead of conventional PSR as tracker performance evaluation method. The proposed tracking method uses multiple DCF to estimates the target position. In addition, our proposed method reflects more weights on the correlation response of the tracker which is expected to have more performance using PSPR. While existing multi-DCF-based tracker calculates the final correlation response by directly summing correlation responses from each tracker, the proposed method acquires the final correlation response by weighted combining of correlation responses from the selected trackers robust to given environment. Accordingly, the proposed method can provide high performance tracking in various and complex background compared to multi-DCF based tracker. Through a series of tracking experiments for various video data, the presented method showed better performance than a single feature-based tracker and also than a multi-DCF based tracker.
This study presents a noble scheme for distributed and parallel simulations with optimized agent placement for simulation instances. The traditional parallel simulation has some limitations in that it does not provide sufficient performance even though using multiple resources. The main reason for this discrepancy is that supporting parallelism inevitably requires additional costs in addition to the base simulation cost. We present a comprehensive study of parallel simulation architectures, execution flows, and characteristics. Then, we identify critical challenges for optimizing large simulations for parallel instances. Based on our cost-benefit analysis, we propose a novel approach to overcome the performance constraints of agent-based parallel simulations. We also propose a solution for eliminating the synchronizing cost among local instances. Our method ensures balanced performance through optimal deployment of agents to local instances and an adaptive agent placement scheme according to the simulation load. Additionally, our empirical evaluation reveals that the proposed model achieves better performance than conventional methods under several conditions.
Diabetes mellitus is one of the common chronic diseases, seriously threating to human health. The continuous monitoring of blood glucose concentration can effectively prevent diabetic diseases. The sensing performance of glucose non-enzymatic sensors is mainly determined by working electrode materials. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are recognized as promising candidate for glucose sensor application, due to its large surface areas, ordered porous structure and nearly infinite designability. In this review, the sensing performance, research progress and future challenge of non-enzymatic glucose sensors based on MOF-based materials in recent years are presented. We hope that this review would provide valuable technology guidance for high performance non-enzymatic glucose sensors based on MOFs.

A damage-based approach for the performance-based seismic assessment of reinforced concrete frame structures is proposed. A new methodology for structural damage assessment is developed that utilizes response information at the material level in each section fiber. The concept of the damage evolution is analyzed at the section level and the computed damage is calibrated with observed experimental data. The material level damage parameter is combined at the element, story and structural level through the use of weighting factors. The damage model is used to compare the performance of two typical 12-story frames that have been designed for different seismic requirements. A series of nonlinear time history analyses is carried out to extract demand measures which are then expressed as damage indices using the proposed model. A probabilistic approach is finally used to quantify the expected seismic performance of the building.

This paper presents a method to apply disturbance observer to PID controller for robustness enhancement of UAVs. The system uncertainties and disturbances bring adverse effects on performance and stability of UAVs. In this paper, we estimate the acceleration disturbances using nonlinear disturbance observer, then compensate disturbances with composite controller. By employing nonlinear disturbance observer and composite controller, we have better performance and robustness than conventional PID controller. The asymptotical stability of nonlinear disturbance observer is presented through theoretical analysis. The estimation performance of nonlinear disturbance observer is evaluated by numerical simulation. And performance of disturbance observer based PID controller is evaluated by comparing the performance with conventional PID controller.

The performance of a TCP protocol on MANETs has been studied in a numerous researches. One of the significant reasons of TCP performance degradation on MANETs is inability to distinguish between packet losses due to congestion from those caused by nodes mobility and as consequence broken routes. This paper presents the Cluster-Label-based Routing (CLR) protocol that is an attempt to compensate source of TCP problems on MANETs - multi-hop mobile environment. By utilizing Cluster-Label-based mechanism for Backbone, the CLR is able to concentrate on detection and compensation of movement of a destination node. The proposed protocol provides better goodput and delay performance than standardized protocols especially in cases of large network size and/or high mobility rate.

The purpose of this study was to search the concept and meaning of performance assessment(PA) in the classroom, and the to proposed some strategies to apply PA. The result of this study was presented below. First, differentiation strategy is necessary in the evaluation goal. Individualization will be an example of differentiation strategy in the evaluation of group goal. Second, various strategies are needed based on the subjects of evaluation. Self-evaluation, peer-evaluation, and small group-evaluation are some examples evaluation for the subjects. Third, there is a need for phase-strategy assessment. For the class associated performance assessment, we have to consider the evaluation activities based on the time likes before (pre), on, and after class. How to select the evaluation task is also one of the key sucess factors for improving the class associated performance assessment.
