This paper proposes an automatic construction system for transliteration dictionary from English-Korean parallel corpus. The system works in 3 steps: it extracts all nouns from Korean documents as the first step, filters transliterated foreign word nouns out of them with the language identification method as the second step, and extracts the corresponding English words by using a probabilistic alignment method as the final step. Specially, the fact that there is a corresponding English word in most cases, is utilized to extract the purely transliterated part from a Koreans word phrase, which is usually used in combined forms with Korean endings(Eomi) or particles(Josa). Moreover, the direct phonetic comparison is done to the words in two different alphabet systems without converting them to the same alphabet system. The experiment showed that the performance was influenced by the first and the second preprocessing steps; the most efficient model among manually preprocessed ones showed 85.4% recall, 91.0% precision and the most efficient model among fully automated ones got 68.3% recall, 89.2% precision.

One of important factors for improving the learning achievement of students in computer programming education is to provide plenty of opportunities of problem-solving experiences through variety forms of assignments, However, for the most cases, evaluation of programming assignments is performed manually by instructors and automated tools for the accurate evaluation are not equipped at the present time. Under this restricted environment instructors need much work and time to grade assignments so that instructors could not deliver sufficient programming assignments to students, In order to overcome this problem. au automated programming assignment evaluation system is needed that would enable instructors to evaluate assignments easily in an effective and consistent way and also to detect any plagiarism activities among students in program source codes readily, Accordingly, in this paper we design and implement a Web-based programming assignment grading system that allows instructors to evaluate program performance automatically as well as to evaluate program styles and piagiarism easily with appropriate feedback.

Using self-regulation learning strategies that can cultivate the creative and critical thinking required in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, it was applied to the exploration experimental class of the section 'quantitative relationship in chemical reactions' in high school chemistry and the effects on academic performance and scientific attitudes were analyzed. In case of academic achievement, although there was no meaningful difference between the two groups in the pre-test, the average value of the experimental group was significantly higher in the post-test. In the case of scientific attitudes, the difference in average points between the two groups was the greatest in readiness and curiosity. In the post-test of the experimental group, academic achievement showed the highest correlation with meta-cognition and scientific attitude with behavioral regulation, respectively. Considering the effectiveness of metacognition and scientific attitudes, self-regulation learning strategies are the most suitable teaching-learning forms for creativity and personality education in this era.

This study looked at the validity of assessments of academic giftedness in young children, details of assessment procedures and tasks related to them. It has shown that academic giftedness in young children can be reliably observed and reported by parents and teachers through similar characteristics to older gifted children. But for young preschool children since the potentiality rather than the current performance level is more important to detect and children's abilities are not fully differentiated, more systematic and comprehensive assessments are needed. Parents'and/or teachers' referrals, behavior checklists for the gifted, tests for creativity, short or group forms of standardized tests and finally individualized tests can be used as a comprehensive battery but these methods can be used stepwise for the sake of efficiency and economy. Especially the variability of performance in young children during the rapid developmental phase as well as their vulnerability by situational factors ask for the repeated assessments as regular bases. In this study different measures for gifted young children, specialists' qualification, and procedural guidance were reviewed and the necessity for various screening tools for different programs for the gifted was discussed. Finally it was emphasized that early assessment and following educational arrangement are needed for gifted young children for their optimal development.

This research intends to examine how 6th graders (age 12) generalize various increasing patterns. In this research, 6 problems corresponding to the ax, x+a, ax+c, ax2, and ax2+c patterns were given to 290 students. Students' generalization methods were analysed by the generalization level suggested by Radford(2006), such as arithmetic and algebraic (factual, contextual, and symbolic) generalization. As the results of the study, we identified that students revealed the most high performance in the ax pattern in the aspect of the algebraic generalization, and lower performance in the ax2, x+a, ax+c, ax2+c in order. Also we identified that students' generalization methods differed in the same increasing patterns. This imply that we need to provide students with the pattern generalization activities in various contexts.

The Wonju Nongyo (agricultural work song) is geographically classified as eastern minyo (folk song) which has many distinctive, regional features such as tunes, forms and the use of a melodic line. There has been growing attention to the transmission value of the nongyo including the Wonju Eorirang of the Wonju Origol Nongyo and its region of origin. The Wonju Nongyo is of great value and worthy of preservation in the western part of Gangwon Province. For this reason, it seems fairer to say that a focus should be directed towards establishing the identity of the song and increasing the contextualisation of transmission. At the same time, the preservation association's efforts in passing the traditional song down and education activities fairly deserve equal attention. In addition to the way the folk songs are handed down, a discussion on the facilitation of their use will be required. An in-depth discussion about the restoration and use of the song will be encouraged in a multifaceted manner. Unfortunately, few of the previous literatures on nongyo has gone so far as to investigate Arirang as a separate research topic. In fact, the Wonju Origol Nongyo should be viewed as an intangible cultural asset that paved the way for performance artistry of the Korean agricultural work songs to be seen at a national folk art festival. From the perspective of regional characteristics (traditionally termed "tori"), the Wonju Eorirang represents the cultural value of the manners and customs of our locals which constitute unwritten and neglected literary property and musicality of the song. Particularly, a more attention should be paid to making a record of woodcutters and diversity of farmers' small cooperative groups. The existence of the Wonju Eorirang indicates that the melodies to which the song are sung in Nongyo are of infinite variety. A minyo-singer unfolds various journeys of life through various modes and structure of epic chants, ranging from first encounter, love to marriage, realistic problems to relationship with husband's family and death. The epic chant of the Wonju Origol Nongyo contains a rich variety of regional sentiments about life. In particular, the epic chants of the Galtteukgisor and Ssoeltteukgisori are a genius example of sexual satire and a sense of humor. In the past, the agricultural work songs were rhythmic songs served to synchronize physical movements in groups, coordinating tasks in upland farming and rice paddy with the usage of catchy, repetitive verses easy to pass down. The Wonju Origol Nongyo is a precursor of the work songs which took the farming activities a notch higher to be part of the excitement and festivals. In the context of transmission, a festival serves to demonstrate the value of history and life. The value of the Wonju Eorirang should be appreciated and a concerted effort should be made to find a way to facilitate the transmission of the folk song. A folk-singer is a traditional oral poet and a storyteller of minyo and the forms and species of melody solely depend on the signer. The combination of performance and witticism is shown by the singer freely expressing himself. The Origol Nongyo symbolizes ethnic arts cleverly combining playful effects such as tune, rhythm and old agricultural work of the region. It is to be hoped that much of the efforts is directed to designating such folk songs as the archetype of a cultural heritage. In terms of the foundation on which the folk songs are transmitted, the usage(Performance Content) of a community would be an alternative.

During the Korean War, China dispatched 'the Anti-US and Pro-Joseon Comfort' group to North Korea 3 times. The purpose of the comfort group was to comfort the Chinese People's Supporting Soldiers and Joseon People's Army fighting the US imperial forces and at the same time, inform them of China's situation to booster their morale. Another purpose was to promote the socialism construction projects in the new China. Namely, China wanted to propagate various heroic achievements of the Chinese soldiers and accuse the US imperialist soldiers and thereby, inspire Chinese people's international sense and patriotism for the new China to mobilize the people for the war and promote the construction of the new China effectively. The comfort group consisted of diverse classes (laborers, farmers, intellectuals, women, students, soldiers, etc.) in various areas such as politics, military, ethnic, society, culture, education, etc. Their activities were conducted in various forms such as consolation, legwork, meeting and performances. Their activities were full of anger and compassion, sacrifice and emotion, battle and romance, impression and comfort. Such emotion was delivered intact to the Chinese people through the comfort group's propaganda activities back home in China. The Anti-US and Pro-Joseon Comfort' group revealed their identity of socialists New China in terms of their organization and their specific performances. Their identity claimed for democracy and equality, internationalism empathizing world peace and solidarity of the proletariats, and patriotism supporting the communists regime. The comfort group played a role in propagating such identity of new China effectively by crossing the border. It was a political and cultural performance that stipulated the political meaning of the Anti-US and Pro-Joseon Chosun Comfort' group

Scientific training, diet, and ergogenic aids are widely used to overcome the limits of humans' physical abilities and to achieve excellent sports records. The adoption of nutritional strategies is important for athletes to perform at their highest level, and one of the main factors determining endurance ability is increased fat metabolism. A ketogenic diet (high fat, low carbohydrates) has thus been proposed as an alternative strategy to maximize fatty acid oxidation during prolonged periods of exercise. However, studies have shown mixed results regarding the ergogenic value of a ketogenic diet. For this reason, exogenous ketone supplements (EKS, ingestible forms of ketone bodies, ketone esters, and/or salts) have been suggested to obtain nutritional ketosis, an acute transient increase in circulating acetoacetate (AcAc) and b-hydroxybutyrate (bHB) concentrations, without limiting carbohydrate intake. Some studies have suggested the beneficial effects of EKS on the performance of endurance exercises by providing an additional fuel substrate for peripheral tissues, such as cardiac and skeletal muscles, sparing carbohydrates/increasing fat oxidation and post-exercise recovery by increasing glycogen resynthesis in the liver/muscle, attenuating protein degradation, stimulating protein synthesis in the skeletal muscle, etc. However, many studies have failed to observe the beneficial effects of EKS as an ergogenic aid. As such, this review summarizes the theoretical basis of, as well as the proposed and proven effects of EKS on exercise performance and recovery to date.

The expansion of exponential law as the law of calculation of integer numbers can be a good material for the students to experience an extended configuration which is based on an algebraic principle of the performance of equivalent forms. While current textbooks described that exponential law can be expanded from natural number to integer, rational number and real number, most teachers force students to accept intuitively that the exponential law is valid although exponent is expanded into real number. However most teachers overlook explaining the value of exponent of rational number or exponent of irrational number so most students have a lot of questions whether this value is a rational number or a irrational number. Related to students' questions, most teacher said that it is out of the current curriculum and students will learn it after going to college instead of detailed answers. In this paper, we will present several examples and the values about irrational exponents of a positive rational and irrational exponents of a positive irrational number, and study the recognition and fallacy of would-be teachers about the cases of irrational exponents of a positive rational and irrational exponents of a positive irrational number at the expansion of exponential law.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the use of the e-learning courseware which is about the properties of earth environmental change. I made these materials using Lectora program, and to have more visual effect, I used movies and animations as much as possible. A lot of movies and pictures are added to help student understand the geographical age. Especially the forms of performance test questions are various, and student can check the answer right after taking test. Because of this, they can get a immediate feedback. In addition, this allows you to adapt yourself to the age of information by using the internet. Every plug-in is already linked together, so you only need to once. Pictures and moving reflections can be edited with ease. I hope this study will provide valuable aid for the education of earth science and a chance to develop better materials.
