정보영재아동의 관찰추천제 입학성적과 수행평가 성적의 상관관계 분석 연구 (A Study on Correlation Analysis of Entrance Scores by Observation and Nomination System and Performance Assessment Scores for Gifted Children in IT)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 정보영재아동의 관찰추천제 입학성적과 수행평가 성적의 상관관계를 분석하는 것이다. 즉 관찰추천제를 통해 입학한 정보영재아동이 입학한 후 재학기간의 성적을 분석함으로써 관찰추천제의 신뢰성을 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 관찰추천제로 입학한 대학부설 과학영재교육원의 정보영재반 학생들의 입학성적순위와 수행평가 성적순위를 토대로 하여 상관관계 분석을 실시하였다. 통계분석을 통한 결과, 입학성적과 수행평가 성적사이에 유의미한 상관관계가 있었다. 즉 입학성적이 뛰어나면 입학 후 학업성적도 뛰어나다는 결론을 얻었다. 본 연구결과는 향후 영재교육에 있어서 관찰추천제를 통한 영재선발 기회의 확대에 긍정적인 영향과 더불어서 이를 통한 IT산업에 있어서 인력양성 방안에 시사점을 제공한다.

Mosoteach 앱을 이용한 중국 대학 EFL 수업 형성평가와 총괄평가와의 관계 (The Relationship between Formative and Summative Assessments Using the Mosoteach App in College EFL Classes in China)

  • 본 연구는 형성평가 (FA)와 총괄평가 (SA) 사이의 관계를 검사하여 대학 EFL 수업 평가 개선을 돕고자 수행되었다. 이 연구의 참여자들은 중국의 4년제 대학에서 선택적으로 8주간의 대학 영어 과정을 수강했던 75명의 학부생들이었다. FA 데이터는 온라인 교육 플랫폼인 Mosoteach를 사용하여 자기 보고식 설문 조사에 의해 코스 마지막 과정에서 수집되었다. 연구 결과를 도출하고자, Pearson 상관관계 분석을 통해 FA와 SA(기말고사 및 수행활동 점수)간의 관련성을 SPSS로 분석하였다. 전반적으로 그 두 평가 점수 간 유의미한 긍정적 상관관계가 있다는 것으로 나타났다. 학생들의 단원 평가, 온라인 토론, 브레인스토밍, 신속한 답변, 그리고 과제 수행에서 교수자들의 엄지척 클릭수와도 깊은 상관관계를 보였다. Mosoteach 앱을 통해 관리되는 FA가 학생들의 수업의 학업 성과를 향상 시킬 수 있었다는 결과는 교육 평가 개선을 위한 경험적 기반을 제공할 수 있음을 시사하였다. 이러한 연구 결과에 따라 EFL 수업 평가에 대한 중요성이 설명되었다.

On a New Index for Research Assessment

  • We introduce a new research assessment measure, called the research excellence index. The measure, which we denote by RE-index, accurately assesses the research performance of a researcher. The methodology used in deriving the RE-index tackles many of the flaws of popular research performance indicators such as publication counts, citation counts, and the h and g indices. A dataset is introduced, which takes advantage of the wide coverage of Scopus and the Library of Congress, and, at the same time, deals with the Scopus database depth problem. For an academic publication x, a prestige-type and length scores are assigned, and if x is published in an academic periodical publication J, the stature of J is identified through a quartile score. The three scores are used to assign a value score to every academic publication, and cited academic publications are given citation scores that encompass both cases of including and excluding self-citations. The foregoing scores are used to derive another set of scores measuring the combined qualitative and quantitative aspects of the creative work, citations of creative work, informative work and citations of informative work of a researcher. The scores take into consideration co-authorship. From these scores, two versions of the RE-index for a researcher are derived, covering the cases of including and excluding self-citations. The new measure is calculated for two mathematicians.

공공의료기관의 공공성과 수익성 상호관계에 대한 연구 - 지방공사의료원의 경영평가를 중심으로- (Profitability and Publicity of the Regional Public Hospitals in Korea - With focus on administration assessment of regional public hospitals -)

  • The administration of a regional public hospitals are expending from profit preference to publicity preference. The weight rate for a profitability and publicity of performance assessment has changed from 84:16 which was resulted by the assessment executed firstly in 1989 to 39:61 as resulted in 2004, the final assessment execution in 2005. Regional public hospitals are exerting and promoting a magnification in public sector to raise up the public-score. With comparison between publicity scores and profitability scores in original scores basis excluding weight rate, the publicity scores ranked higher than profitability scores although the latter was higher by 2002. However, for the administration performance of the regional public hospitals, the deficits increased 11 times from \92.6billion deficits with \460.3billion cost increased by 457% although income as \367.7billion increased by 394% comparing the last 2004 year to the first 1989 year for profit & loss statement of a regional public hospitals. There was analysis for the relation in yearly basis partitioning publicity and profitability for the assessment scores of the to regional public hospitals confirm the accumulated deficits of the hospitals like this attribute to the extension of public sector. The result showed that there was distinct plus relationship from 1999 although a minus relationship in general until 1997 except 1992 and there is a more plus relationship as approaching 2004. That is, it is hard to tell that the accumulated deficits increase of regional government medical center attributed to extension of public sector. On the contrary, the analysis showed the extension of public sector has a mutual relationship with uplift of profitability Meanwhile, it showed that operation cost rate and labor cost are the factors which influence a revenue & expenditure rate among the profitability index according to the results of relation analysis for the representative index of profitability and that of publicity.

구조화된 객관적 임상시험(OSCE) 실시 후 간호학생들의 임상수행능력에 대한 자기평가경향 분석 (Analysis of Trends in Self-assessment of Performance of Clinical Skills in Nursing Students after OSCE)

  • Purpose: The self-assessment ability of students is important in acquiring clinical skills. The study explored the self-assessment behavior of nursing students after OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination). Methods: The participants were 90 nursing students. They assessed their performance just after an OSCE (assessment 1). They were given OSCE checklists and re-assessed their performance level (assessment 2). Assessments 1, 2, and an assessment by professor were compared and analyzed. Results: Students assessed themselves higher than professor. But, when students were divided into three groups according to score level, different behaviors were evident between the groups. The high-score group assessed themselves lower than the professor, while the mid-and low-score groups assessed themselves higher than the professor. Students' self-assessment more closely approximated the professor's assessment when they were given checklists. The correlation between assessments 1 and 2 was stronger in high-score group and weak in low-score group. Conclusion: The study results indicate that students tend to assess their skills higher than the professor, but their scores were more in line with the professor when they were provided with checklists, and students' self-assessment behavior differed in the different score groups, suggesting a need for customized feedback and a concern for students with low scores.

시설보호 아동의 인지능력에 따른 행동문제 (Institutionalized Children′s Behavior Problems Depending on Their Cognitive Abilities)

  • This study investigated institutionalized children's behavior problems depending on their cognitive abilities. Subjects were 185 institutionalized children in 15 child-welfare facilities in Seoul (132 preschooler and 153 primary schoolers; 106 boys and 79 girls). Institutionalized children's cognitive abilities were measured using the Comprehension and Picture Completion Assessment, two subsets of K-WPPSI (Park et al., 1996) Comprehension and Picture Completion Assessment belong to verbal and performance scale, respectively. Measures of behavior problems included anxiety, immaturity, social withdrawal, physical symptom, hyperactivity, and aggression. Data were analyzed with mean, standard deviation, and t-test. Results showed that institutionalized children had higher scores in Picture Completion Assessment than Comprehension Assessment. Furthermore, institutionalized children with low scores in Comprehension Assessment were higher in anxiety and social withdrawal than children with high scores in Comprehension Assessment.

간호학생의 핵심기본간호술 수행빈도, 수행자신감, 수행능력에 관한 융복합적 연구 (A Study of Convergence on Frequency of Performance, Self-Confidence, Performance Assessment Scores of Core Nursing Skills of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호학과 졸업학년 학생이 임상실습시 경험한 핵심기본간호술 수행빈도, 수행자신감, 수행능력을 확인하고 이들의 관계를 규명하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 227명으로 자료수집 기간은 2015년 10월 15일부터 10월 28일까지이다. 연구결과 임상 실습시 10회 이상 해보았다고 응답한 항목은 활력징후였으며 전혀 해보지 못했다고 응답한 항목은 수혈, 관장, 기관절개관 관리 순 이었다. 평가 전 수행자신감은 활력징후가 가장 높고 수혈이 가장 낮았으며 평가 후 수행자신감은 근육주사가 가장 낮았다. 수행능력은 산소요법이 가장 높게 측정되었고 근육주사가 가장 낮게 측정되었다. 수행빈도는 수행자신감(r=0.414, p<.001) 및 수행능력(r=0.322, p=.007)과 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 또한 수행자신감과 수행능력은 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있다고 분석되었다(r=0.281, p=.003). 본 연구결과 임상실습이 비침습적이며 단순측정을 하는 위주로 되고 있으며 수행빈도가 적은 항목이 수행 자신감이 낮으므로 이들을 보완할 수 있는 융복합적 교육방법이 요구된다.

간호사의 건강사정에 대한 인식과 수행 (A Study on Perception and Performance of Health Assessment among Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe perception and performance of health assessment among clinical nurses. Methods: The sample of this study consisted of 177 staff nurses working at university affiliated hospitals and a self-report questionnaire was used to collect data. Data were analyzed with SPSS WIN 12.0 program. Results: The overall mean scores of perception and performance of health assessment were 3.67 and 1.71 respectively. There were no significant differences according to educational level, working department, and type of health assessment courses taken for perception of health assessment. The variable significantly affecting health assessment performance was the working department. There was a statistically significant correlation between perception and performance of health assessment. Conclusion: These findings suggest the need to develop a nursing education strategy to increase the performance of health assessment.

요양병원의 입원급여 적정성 평가 결과에 미치는 영향 요인 분석 (Factors influencing the composite quality score from the quality assessment program for long-term care hospitals)

  • Purposes: This study purposed to identify factors influencing the composite quality score from the quality assessment program for long-term care hospitals Methodology: The study variables was obtained from HIRA(Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service): the composite quality scores and hospital variables such as number of doctors, nurses, beds, medical technicians, medical equipments, administrative region, ownerships from 3rd (2010) to 7th (2018) quality assessment program. National Statistical Portal(www.kosis.go.kr) provided the number of senior citizens aged over 65 in city·county·district area. SAS 9.4 was used for the data processing and used to analyze the data. Findings: The results showed that composite quality score increased past 9 years. Hospital variables such as number of doctor, nurse, medical technicians, bed and public hospitals had significant positive relationship with the composite quality score. Administrative region(district) showed higher scores compare to that of city. Compare to the score of quality assessment year(2010), as the assessment year move to 2012, 2013, 2015, 2018, results showed higher significant positive coefficients. Practical Implication: Continuously improve the performance of long-term care hospitals, current quality assessment program are needed to update their system such as adopting indicators measuring the service process, or compensating the cost for quality assessment program. It will enable to provide more reasonable and accurate performance assessment scores.

가정과 수행평가의 타당성과 신뢰성 연구 - 경남 농촌지역의 소인수 학급을 대상으로 - (A Study on the Validity and Reliability of Performance Assessment in Home Economics)

  • The purpose of the study was to verify validity and reliability of performance assessment in home economics by applying performance assessment tools developed by Korean Curriculum Assessment Institute and by the researcher to a class of 17 high school female students in a rural area. For the purpose of this study, the research question was formulated and addressed:“How are the validity and reliability of performance assessment in home economics\ulcorner” The results of the study were as follows. 1. The results of testing validity a. Thirteen high school home economics teachers, whose average teaching years is ten years verified high validity in the contents of performance assessment. b. In the validity of the items that is verified being based on the scores of high school entrance examination of 2000 school year, the essay type showed its characteristics as performance assessment. c. The generalizability among assessment methods was not high. 2. The results of testing reliability Both Cronbach's $\alpha$, inter-item reliability of the assessment tools used in the research, and reliability among the raters were high. But reliability among the tasks was relatively low. This study proposed that the diverse performance methods, the increasing number of assessment, the explicit assessment criterion, and scoring criterion are needed to satisfying validity and reliability of performance assessment.
