비행시험을 통한 복합형 수직이착륙 무인항공기의 회랑 산출을 위한 통합시스템오차 분석 (Total System Error Analysis for Corridor derivation of Hybrid VTOL through Flight Test)

  • 본 연구에서는 UTM(UAS Traffic Management) 체계 구축 시, 무인항공기 간의 비행 간격을 분리하기 위해 회랑(Corridor)을 설정하여야 하며, 통합시스템오차(TSE; Total System Error)를 고려하여 회랑 크기를 산출하였다. 복합형 수직이착륙 무인항공기를 이용하여 직선 구간과 선회 구간의 비행 데이터를 수집하였다. 비행 데이터는 SQSM(Scalar Quantity Summation Method) 방법을 통해 TSE를 도출하였으며, 항법시스템오차 (NSE; Navigation System Error) 와 비행기술오차 (FTE; Flight Technical Error)를 세부적으로 산출하여 직선 및 선회 구간에 대한 영향성을 분석하였다. 회랑 크기는 TSE 분석 결과와 PBN(Performance-based Navigation) manual을 참고하여 산출하였다.

  • Performance test is carried out in accordance with "performance test standard for Electrical Multiple Unit", noticed by Ministry of Construction & Transportation in 2000. The object of this standard is to ensure that vehicle is tested after completion and before entry into service. Performance test is classified by type test to be carried out for the first car and its components in order to verify their performance and by routine test to be carried out on the whole quantity in order to prove the performance of individual items. Scope of the test is divided by components, completed car, preliminary adjustment test and running test on main line. The paper introduces a testing procedure and an execution method of the performance test.

고성능 감수제를 사용한 콘크리트의 품질 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Quality Characteristics of Concrete Using Super Plasticizer)

  • 본 연구는 고유동성, 고강도 및 고내구성을 가진 고성능 콘크리트를 실용화시키기 위하여 국내에서 시판되고 있는 9종류의 고성능 감수제를 사용한 콘크리트의 품질 특성을 평가하였다. 이를 위하여 혼화제 첨가량에 따라서 굳지 않은 콘크리트의 슬럼프, 공기걍, 단위중량 및 감수율과 경화콘크리트의 압축강도비를 비교분석하였다. 본 시험결과, 국내 시판되는 고성능 감수제를 사용한 콘크리트의 공기연행 효과는 거의 없었으며 또한, 보통강도 및 고성능 콘크리트 각각에 대하여 최적혼화제 첨가량이 존재함을 알아냈다.

글리콜에테르계 혼화제가 콘크리트의 내구성 향상에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on Durability Improvement of Concrete Using Glycol Ether Chemical Admixture)

  • Focused on the material-related aspect for enhancing the durability of concrete, the present study analyzed the effect of glycol ether admixture, which is a chemical admixture that can compact the structure of concrete by entraining air inside the concrete, on the basic physical properties and durability characteristic of the concrete. In analyzing the results of experiment, we examined the basic physical properties and durability characteristic of concrete according to addition rate based on OPC and selected the optimal addition rate. In addition, with the optimal addition rate, we added glycol ether admixture to concrete, which contained fly ash used as binder and high-performance water reducing agent for reducing the unit quantity, and examined changes in the characteristics of the concrete. According to the result, the optimal addition rate of glycol ether admixture was 3% of the unit quantity of cement, and the addition of binder and chemical admixture did not have a significant effect on unhardened concrete but reduced the air content. In addition, concrete showed resistance performance of around 30% to carbonation and around 40% to drying shrinkage. In addition, as for resistance to freezing and thawing, the relative dynamic modulus of elasticity was over around 85% through atmospheric curing. These performances prove the effect.

디젤엔진개량에 의한 천연가스차량전환에 관한 연구 (A Study on Natural Gas Vehicle Conversion by Diesel Engine Improvement)

  • Natural gas is considered to be on e of the most promising candidates for a clean substitute fuel and a great amount of research on the compressed natural gas(CNG) fueled vehicle has been performed. In this s tudy, we try to understand the property of CNG fuel with using CNG engine experiment. In order to present the direction and application of CNG, we experiment with various operating conditions that is, spark timing, A/F ratio, air quantity and fuel quantity, etc. 11,967 cc engine was used in the experiment and the engine fuel ratio was determined in the way that the performance of dedicated CNG engine is corresponded to that of existing diesel engine. The performance and dedicated CNG engine were measured by changing the fuel injection timing. The dedicated CNG engine was proved to be good in describing the experimental results and according to the actual road test, acceleration and constant speed driving for dedicated CNG engine was better than existing diesel engine.

Economic performance of cable supported bridges

  • A new cable-supported bridge model consisting of suspension parts, self-anchored cable-stayed parts and earth-anchored cable-stayed parts is presented. The new bridge model can be used for suspension bridges, cable-stayed bridges, cable-stayed suspension bridges, and partially earth-anchored cable-stayed bridges by varying parameters. Based on the assumption that each structural member is in either an axial compressive or tensile state, and the stress in each member is equal to the allowable stress of the material, the material quantity for each component is calculated. By introducing the unit cost of each type of material, the estimation formula for the cost of the new bridge model is developed. Numerical examples show that the results from the estimation formula agree well with that from the real projects. The span limit of cable supported bridge depends on the span-to-height ratio and the density-to-strength ratio of cables. Finally, a parametric study is illustrated aiming at the relations between three key geometrical parameters and the cost of the bridge model. The optimization of the new bridge model indicates that the self-anchored cable-stayed part is always the dominant part with the consideration of either the lowest total cost or the lowest unit cost. It is advisable to combine all three mentioned structural parts in super long span cable supported bridges to achieve the most excellent economic performance.

시험시공을 통한 일방향 배수필터의 성능 평가 (Evaluation of the Performance of One-way Drainage Filter by Field Test)

  • It is needed to install a one-way drainage filter to prevent a seepage from lake or river outside of embankment and to promote a drainage from a flood inside of embankment when dikes such as lake dike, river dike, etc are constructed. However, the results of research for one-way drainage filter are insufficient. Therefore, through the field test of one-way drainage filter, this study checked a function of one-way drainage filter with a test of performance. As a result of field test, water flow in dike was blocked in the interception direction of the section that one-way drainage filter was installed, but water passed to the flow allowance direction of the section. Therefore we confirmed the function of one-way drainage filter. Seepage quantity in the flow allowance direction of the one-way drainage filter section was low as 74.6~80.5 % than that in the section without installation of filter because of a reduction effect of seepage with filter. And seepage quantity of field test was low as 64.3~90.0 % than that in results of seepage analysis because the coefficient of permeability of embankment in field is different from the results of laboratory test. In the future, more study will be needed to solve several problems which are related to fix the filter on slide, durability of filter, etc.

중소형 살포기의 살포량 측정에 따른 성능 분석 (The Performance Analysis for Amounts of Sprayed Quantity by Using the Small and Medium-Sized Sprayer)

  • This study is to promote domestic environmentally appropriately conditions for the range 60~70 m, the development of the small and medium-sized sprayer ability measurement that can be used as a general-purpose paddy fields, orchards, and not consolidated areas. The sprayer designed and manufactured that can spraying effectively distance to within 60~70 m. Distribution of sprayed pesticides were obtained and analyzed by measuring the weight. Performance analysed using the buckets were placed horizontally 12.5 m, 70 m vertical intervals by $5m{\times}2.5m$, so total 68 buckets were placed. Total amounts of sprayed quantity was $2,000{\ell}$ and maximum spray distance was about 70 m. Reasonably sprayed region was 5 m~10 m vertically symmetrical. Showed a lot of spraying water in 5 m~40 m distance, and in 45~60 m tended to spraying water decreased slightly. Maximum spraying distance was 70 m.

  • The current environment of technological and competitive changes influences not only the business R&D environment but also government driven national R&D strategies. Open innovation has now become an important paradigm that is replacing the outdated paradigm of closed innovation. Many companies and nations have been increasing R&D investment because R&D has been considered a driving force for national and corporate competitive advantage. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate and compare the performance of R&D focused on open innovation according to scientific and technological outputs which is based on paper publications, patents and etc. Comparisons should not be only based on the quantity but also on the quality of the output. This paper shows that it is possible to develop DEA models that utilize the Analytical Hierarchical Process in order to transform the qualitative index into a quantitative index. Hence, the relative efficiency for R&D organizations is obtained based on both quantity and quality outputs and subsequently provides comprehensive and realistic methods for decision makers to identify levels of project efficiency.

Evolution of Automatic Ordering System in Retail Market : Analyzing Inventory Data

  • The purpose of this paper is to reveal two problems in the existing inventory systems in retail market, and to suggest a Two-Bin System under Automatic Ordering System considering only base-stock. Large retailers already have a sophisticated inventory system based on an automatic ordering principle. However, why does the out-of-stock (OOS) happen in large discount stores in spite of having a good inventory system? This paper suggests two systems after finding the root causes concerning the previous question. For evaluating the performance of each system, the random 200 data set in each sample group was generated from MINITAB 16 and obeyed the Poisson distribution. The existing inventory system in retail market cannot help generating OOS due to indwelling contradiction in itself. The reasons are the ordering deadline and the relationship between ordering quantity and base stock. This paper also demonstrates that these previous studies on inventory fall into the closed loop. Also the paper shows that the performance of the replenishment policy was better than traditional methods dealing with ordering quantity and base stock.
