무기체계 성능보장을 위한 품질관리 제도개선 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Quality Management System to Improve Weapon System Performance)

  • The purpose of this study is to establish effective quality control activities to maintain proper operation rates and improve the performance of research and development weapon systems. Quality control improvement measures suitable for the actual conditions of our military were identified by comparing the operational methods and advantages/disadvantages of the domestic quality control systems Defense Quality Management System and Defense Quality mark with those of the systems employed in the US(QPL and QML). In order to ensure the reliability of the weapon system, it is imperative to operate a design-oriented self-quality management system through manufacturing-oriented government-led inspection and to expand and reorganize the certification system divided into manufacturing items and companies.

  • 최근 스마트 디바이스 연구가 진행되면서 MICOM과 같은 경량 디바이스에서도 정보보호 기능을 제공해야 한다는 요구가 늘어가고 있다. Zigbee의 경우 IEEE 802.15.4 표준에 정의된 $AES-CCM^*$를 적용함으로서 정보보호 기능을 제공하고 있다. 하지만 국내에서는 정보보호법에 의해 KCMVP(국내 암호모듈 평가인증제도)를 받은 제품만이 공공기관 및 관공서에서 사용될 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 IEEE 802.15.4 표준에 정의된 예약영역(Reserved)에 KCMVP용 ARIA-CCM, ARIA-GCM이 활용될 수 있는 방안을 제시한다. 또한 MICOM 환경에서 IEEE 802.15.4 표준에 적용된 ARIA-CCM, ARIA-GCM 성능분석을 위해 $AES-CCM^*$와 속도비교 결과를 제시한다.

딥러닝 기반의 얼굴인증 시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Face Authentication System)

  • 본 논문에서는 딥러닝 프레임워크 기반의 얼굴인증 시스템에 대하여 제안한다. 제안 시스템은 딥러닝 알고리즘을 활용하여 얼굴영역 검출과 얼굴 특징 추출을 수행하고, 결합베이시안 학습 모델을 이용하여 얼굴인증을 수행한다. 제안 얼굴인증 알고리즘에 대한 성능 평가는 다양한 얼굴 사진들로 구성된 데이터베이스를 이용하여 수행하였으며, 한 명에 대한 얼굴 영상은 2장으로 구성하였다. 또한 얼굴인증 실험은 딥 뉴럴 네트워크를 통한 2048차원의 특징과 그 유사성을 측정하기 위해 결합베이시안 알고리즘을 적용하였으며, 얼굴인증에 실패한 동일오율을 계산함으로써 성능평가를 수행하였다. 실험 결과, 딥러닝 특징과 결합베이시안 알고리즘을 사용한 제안 방법은 1.2%의 동일오율을 보였다.

산업용 로봇 셀 안전기능 제어시스템 성능수준 연구 (A Study on the Performance Level of Industrial Robot Cell Safety Function Control System)

  • Most existing industrial robots have fences installed around them to ensure safety. However, industrial sites are recently being transformed into workspaces shared by both robots and humans working cooperatively, wherein the robots are without security fencing owing to the development of sensor technology. However, in the last five years (2017-2021), 16 deaths have occurred due to robots at industrial sites, with the main cause of the accidents being workers approaching an industrial robot in operation and getting entangled with or colliding into the robot and its peripherals. To prevent such accidents, multilateral research is needed. To this end, this study analyzes the nonconforming contents of safety inspections for industrial robots and demonstrates the safety performance of the safety function control system implemented in an industrial robot cell. In addition, to ensure the fundamental safety of industrial robots, this study proposes the introduction of a safety certification system so that safety functions can be implemented in the design, manufacturing, and installation stages of the robots.

LEED PERCEPTION DISPARITIES: DESIGNERS VERSUS NON-DESIGNERS

  • With the increased interest in green buildings, the building industry has been experiencing a fast-growing demand for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification for the last decade. Still, it is not unusual to see various barriers and issues during its implementation, and experience tells that they can result in harming the overall project performance with reworks, lower productivity, schedule delays, and cost overruns. In order to better understand the industry's observation on issues and their consequences during LEED implementation, we distributed an online survey, and a total of 53 responses were received. The survey results indicate that (1) both designers and non-designers (e.g., contractors) select 'added costs to design and construction' as the biggest barrier; (2) both designers and non-designers select 'decision made too late in the design process' as the most frequently observed issue; and (3) non-designers indicate higher perceived severity in every consequence criteria than designers. The statistical analyses reveal that cost overruns are the most severe impact observed and have a statistically significant relationship with responses in regard to the barrier to LEED implementation.

모의비행훈련장치용 조종반력시스템의 자동-QTG 구현 (Auto Qualification Test Guide of Control Loading System for Flight Simulation Training Device)

  • Flight simulators are crucial devices for aircraft piloting training and simulation, requiring regular inspections to maintain performance and operational quality. This study explores the development of an automated inspection system for flight simulators to automate quality inspections of control loading systems (CLS). While quality inspection of the control loading system (CLS) is essential for flight simulators, manual inspections are common practice. To address this, we developed an Auto Qualification Test Guide (Auto QTG) using artificial control logic and sensor data and applied it to the militarily simulator. Experimental results demonstrate that Auto QTG successfully automates quality inspections of CLS, enhancing accuracy and efficiency. This automated inspection system is expected to contribute to improving the operation and maintenance of flight simulators.

졸업인증 임상수행력평가의 유용성 평가 (Usefulness of Clinical Performance Examination for Graduation Certification of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to testify whether clinical performance examination (CPX) was useful to evaluate comprehensive performance for nursing students just prior to graduation. Method: A cross-sectional descriptive study was designed to examine the usefulness. A total of 61 nursing students whose requirement credits were completed for graduation from a C University in G-city, at December, 5, 2007. Data were analyzed by Pearson's Correlation Coefficient and Spearman's rank Correlation Coefficient. Results: This study showed that both of the finals scores with paper and pens and the clinical practicum scores were not correlated with the CPX scores (r=-.031, p=.811; r=.028, p=.831). Consistency of scores between faculties and standardized patients was moderate (r=.752, p=.000). Conclusion: CPX was considered as a different and innovative evaluation from previous testing systems to test the various aspects of performance including knowledge, skill and attitude. Therefore, CPX under high raters' consistency was useful to test nursing students's final performance. Further study would be needed to develop the standard of CPX system.

  • 본 논문에서 UWB 시스템에 MC-CDMA 방식을 적용하여 성능을 분석하고 최근 표준화가 진행중인 DS-CDMA, OFDM 방식과 비교한다. DS-CDMA 방식은 다중경로 성분을 검출하기 위해 많은 Rake Finger들이 필요하기 때문에 시스템의 복잡도가 증가하고 OFDM 방식은 주파수 호핑을 사용하지 않는 상태에서 순간 방사 전력이 FCC에서 규정을 만족하지 못한다. 따라서 두 시스템의 혼합 형태인 MC-CDMA 방식이 시스템의 복잡도는 DS-CDMA 보다 간단하면서 주파수 선택적 페이딩 채널에서 좋은 성능을 나타내고 OFDM 방식과는 달리 매 순간마다 무든 전송대역을 사용함으로써 스펙트럼당 방사 전력이 낮아진다. 시뮬레이션 결과 단일 사용자일 경우 DS-CDMA 방식이 가장 우수한 결과를 보여주었지만, 다중사용자일 경우 MC-CDMA 방식이 더 우수한 성능을 보여주었다.

가정용 지열원 열펌프 시스템의 냉난방 성능 특성 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Cooling and Heating Performance of a Residential Ground Source Heat Pump System)

  • Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) systems utilize geothermal energy as a thermal source or sink, for heating, cooling and domestic hot water. It is well known that GSHP is environmentally friendly, and saves energy dramatically. For this reason, many investigative researches have been conducted on commercial and governmental buildings. However, studies on residential GSHP are few, because of the small capacity and cost. In this study, we experimented with the characteristic performance of heating, cooling and seasonal performance factor for a residential GSHP system, which consisted of two 180 m deep u-tube ground heat exchangers, a heat pump and measurement instruments. The installed capacity of the heat pump was 5RT, and the conditioning area was $62.23m^2$. From the experimental results, the cooling COP of the heat pump was 4.13, and the system COP was 3.51, while the CSPF was 3.32. On the other hand, the heating COP of the heat pump was 3.87, and the system COP was 3.39, while the HSPF was 3.39. Also, in-situ cooling COP and capacity were 93.7% and 96.4% compared with the EWT certification data, respectively, and that of heating were 98.3% and 95.7%, respectively.

세계 기후대별 High-Performance Buildings의 에너지 소비 원단위 평가 및 신기술 적용 동향 분석 연구 (Comprehensive Analysis of Energy Consumption Rate and New Technology Trend in High-Performance Buildings related with Different Climatic Zones)

  • In this study, we analyzed high-performance building technologies through a case study of 65 high-performance buildings in the U.S., Europe, Asia and Oceania. In detail, we reviewed the international trend of building energy-saving technology and energy consumption per unit area by analyzing buildings constructed within a 10 year period(2008-018). The primary energy consumption was $48-440kWh/m^2$, and the average value was calculated as $169.3kWh/m^2$. Although some buildings received high certification ratings, they did not meet either Korean or international energy evaluation standards. The system analysis revealed that many energy-saving technologies show various application rates in different countries because the technologies possess different properties. Furthermore, small-area building groups tended to have less primary energy consumption than the medium and large-area buildings, but the area-energy relationship $R^2$ value was analyzed as 0.3161, indicating no clear proportional relationship. Therefore, we propose that it is necessary to maximize the energy savings of buildings by taking into consideration a region's code, climate, building usage, area and space-using patterns to reduce energy and greenhouse gas emissions.
