The scale of the authenticity perceived by the athletes of the domestic business team was developed. Through this, it is intended to accumulate information and authenticity research on human resource management of unemployment teams. The authenticity scale was developed through a total of 6 steps by referring to previous studies on the scale development process at domestic and international. In the first stage, the basic composition was confirmed through the review of previous studies. In the second stage, preliminary questions were drawn through in-depth interviews with 13 players belonging to the business team. In the third stage, the authenticity attribute and structure were confirmed through an expert meeting. In the fourth stage, the appropriateness of the items was verified through exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis of 248 people. In the 5th stage, 288 subjects were tested for construct validity, convergent validity, and discriminant validity through confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and reliability analysis. The sixth step was to verify the relationship through regression analysis with the performance variables to examine the applicability and predictability of the developed scale. Through the above procedures, 4 dimensions of organizational authenticity and 18 measurement items were developed, and 3 dimensions of leader authenticity and 18 measurement items were developed.
As femvertising has raised a great deal of attentions in Korea and abroad, femvertising which focuses on women's equality and empowerment has also brought much pubic attentions. Despite of much attentions, research on femvertising has been scarce. Thus, this study is designed to examine antecedents and consequences of attitude toward femvertising. For antecedents, this study proposes perceived congruence and perceived authenticity; as consequences, it proposes attitude toward brand, purchase intention, and e-word-of-mouth intention. A total of 278 college students participated in the study in return for course credits. Study results suggest that both perceived congruence and perceived authenticity are positively related to attitude toward advertising. In sum, when consumers perceive that femvertising messages are congruent with the company's brand image and the ad messages are authentic, positive attitude toward ads is likely to increase. Findings also suggest that attitude toward femvertising is positively related to attitude toward brand, purchase intention, and e-word-of-mouth-intention. In the last section of this paper, we discuss theoretical and practical implications..
Fashion companies and brands' marketing activities focus on resolving environmental problems; however, these companies' efforts, there are some examples of so-called "greenwashing". This paper aims to analyze different perceptions of brand authenticity, green marketing, and purchase intention toward the brand before and after exposure to case information about greenwashing. A total of 211 data were gathered and analyzed using SPSS 25.0. Respondents were asked to respond to same questionnaires related to green marketing and the brand authenticity before and after their exposure to greenwashing information. The study participants' perceptions of green marketing from the brand were statistically significantly negatively changed after exposure compared to before exposure. Similar patterns in results were found in the context of consumers' perception of brand authenticity (genuineness, originality, and consistency), and purchase intention. The originality of this study is in evaluating consumers' perception of greenwashing focused on brand authenticity. The findings of the study suggest that if a fashion brand's green marketing activity is perceived as greenwashing by consumers, the perceptions of green marketing, brand authenticity, and purchase intention can all decline. It is suggested that fashion brands need to develop a sincere and truthful green marketing campaigns to keep and enhance their brand authenticity.
Participants were 272 teachers from kindergartens and child care centers who responded to 2 survey questionnaires: translated and revised versions of Laub's (1999) Servant Organizational Leadership Assessment(SOLA) and Jorde-Bloom's(1989) Early Childhood Job Satisfaction Survey(ECJSS). Components of SOLA were values people, develops people, displays authenticity, builds community, provides leadership, and shares leadership; components of ECJSS were co-worker relationships, administrator relationship, job itself, working environment, possibility of rewards/promotions, feelings about the organization. Data were analyzed by SPSS WIN computer program, Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analyses. Relationships were found between servant leadership of the early childhood educational institution and job satisfaction. Components of perceived servant leadership that predicted job satisfaction were 'develops people', 'displays authenticity', 'values people' and 'provides leadership.'

This study compares experienced and inexperienced consumers' patterns in cue utilisation in product evaluations in the arts market. Borrowing the notion of high- and low-scope cues introduced by the cue-diagnosticity framework, we differentiate between the two most readily discernible extrinsic cues in the fine arts market - an art gallery's brand reputation (a high-scope cue) and certificates of authenticity (a low-scope cue). These two cues are different in nature; the former is more abstract, intangible, and rich in content, so is more difficult to interpret than the latter. Given the differences in experienced and inexperienced consumers' information processing styles, we hypothesise that experienced arts consumers form perceived credibility of and purchase intentions towards artworks based on high-scope cues, whereas inexperienced consumers do so based on low-scope cues. To test our hypothesis, we conducted a consumer intercept study at Korea's two most representative art fairs. The survey participants were categorised into either experienced or inexperienced consumers based on their prior purchase experience, and their responses to a set of attribute combinations about two artworks created by the same artist were collected. The results indicate that experienced participants show higher purchase intentions when an art gallery's reputation is very high, whereas inexperienced participants show higher purchase intentions when artworks are accompanied by certificates of authenticity. This congruency effect between prior experience and cue type is mediated by the perceived credibility of the artworks. The findings suggest a correspondence between a consumer's prior experience and the types of extrinsic cues that are important in product evaluations. To the best of our knowledge, this study is the first attempt ever to investigate the role of prior experience in determining when to use high- or low-scope cues. It also provides a useful frame of reference to advise marketers on the effective sales approach based on a client's prior purchase experience.
The Chinese cosmetics market is rapidly expanding, but various problems have also emerged, including exaggerated advertisement, lack of accurate information on product usage and the emergence of imitation products. For this reason, cosmetics companies have been making efforts to convince Chinese consumers of their brand authenticity and trust. In particular, Korean cosmetics firms have been using Hallyu stars who are largely popular among Chinese consumers as a means to raise their brand authenticity and trust. The aim of this study was to view Hallyu stars as human brands in the Chinese cosmetics market and verify whether the Chinese consumers' attachment toward Korean celebrities help the consumers perceive the authenticity of the brands advertised by the stars, and whether such brand authenticity affects the Chinese consumers' trust in Korean cosmetics brands. Furthermore, based on the fact that brand authenticity is defined and classified differently according to the type of product, this study observed the authenticity of Korean cosmetics brands from the aspect of product, employee and company based on previous research conducted on cosmetics brand authenticity. To this end, this study surveyed Chinese consumers for a month by using a representative survey website (http://www.sojump.com) that actively shares information related to cosmetics. A total of 394 surveys were used in the empirical analysis. The results of empirical analysis indicated that Chinese consumers' attachment toward Hallyu stars spreads to the Korean cosmetics brands advertised by the celebrities to have a positive effect on the brand authenticity perceived by Chinese consumers, including the authenticity of product, employee and company. Results also showed that the authenticity of Korean cosmetics brands, including product, employee and company, affected Chinese consumers' trust in the brands. The results of this study can provide implications regarding advertising or marketing strategies using Hallyu stars that can be utilized by Korean cosmetics companies to improve brand authenticity and reliability perceived by Chinese consumers in the Chinese cosmetics market, where brand authenticity and reliability are important.
This study identified the structural impact relationships, mediated by information reliability and brand authenticity, of different types of environmental messages from the perspective of luxury fashion brands, leading to formation of brand attitudes. Additionally, the study investigated how the impact of message sidedness on the formation of information reliability and brand authenticity varies according to consumers' regulatory focus tendencies. Data were collected through online surveys targeting individuals from Generation MZ, utilizing a professional research firm. A total of 300 respondents (150 for one-sided scenarios and 150 for two-sided scenarios) were selected. The collected data were validated using SPSS and AMOS. The following results were obtained. First, message sidedness influenced information reliability and brand authenticity, both of which demonstrated positive effects on brand attitude as mediating factors. However, message sidedness did not directly affect brand attitude. Second, consumers with both promotion and prevention focus tendencies perceived higher information reliability in two-sided message scenarios, and the perception difference in information reliability based on message sidedness was more pronounced among consumers with a prevention focus. Additionally, consumers with a prevention focus did not show a significant difference in brand authenticity between one- and two-sided message scenarios, while consumers with a promotion focus demonstrated an increase in brand authenticity in two-sided message scenarios compared to one-sided ones.
The purpose of this study was to identify the components of how clients perceive the counselors' authenticity in actual counseling, and to examine the therapeutic changes and processes related to the counselors' authenticity. In-depth interviews were conducted with 12 clients majoring in counseling at graduate school, and as a result of analyzing using the Grounded theory approach, 57 concepts, 40 sub-categories, and 14 categories were derived. The major results of this study are as follows: first, the components of counselor authenticity perceived by clients were identified as 'honesty', 'sincere attitude', and 'heartfelt caring'. Second, counselors' authenticity was found to bring about deeper and generalized therapeutic changes when a deep level of acceptance and empathy for the client was accompanied. Finally, therapeutic changes in counselors' authenticity were found to be 'increasing self-understanding and acceptance', 'generalization of authenticity modeling', and 'increasing initiative in coping with problems'. This study contributed to the increase of the practical knowledge of the counselors' authenticity by identifying the therapeutic value of authenticity and factors, and provided the implications to education and training for novice counselors.
This study is a descriptive survey using a self-reported survey method to understand the effect of language and non-verbal communication of medical service providers on customer satisfaction through Lapport and to determine the degree of impact on Lapport by adjusting perceived service authenticity. The data collection period was from April 5 to April 30, 2021. Using the convenience sampling method, data were collected from users of medical institutions located in Busan and Gyeongsangnam-do, and a total of 306 valid questionnaires were used as statistical analysis data. The collected data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS statistics version 25.0 and AMOS 20.0 programs through a coding process. In the results of this study, it was found that the language and non-verbal communication of medical service providers influenced customer satisfaction through Lapport, and the perceived service authenticity in the relationship between each variable acts as a moderating effect. Considering that the language and non-verbal factors of the medical service provider are important in the interaction between the medical service provider and the hospital user, the medical service provider should take full account of the language and non-verbal factors and help the medical institution communicate with the hospital user.
In general, service failure occurs inevitably and the customers who experienced the greater dissatisfaction have the higher expectations of service recovery. However, most of the previous studies have focused on the evaluation and risk factors of pre-service quality. Thus, this study is contrary to the numerous previous studies and focus on the effectiveness of mobile application advertisement users' perceived perception on service recovery after service fails. A research model presented in this study is based on the Equity Theory and deeply evaluated the effectiveness of Distributive Justice, Interactional Justice, and Authenticity Relevance on Service Recovery. The survey of this study was conducted among 286 users who have experienced a services recovery of mobile application advertising. As a result, among all the factors of users of mobile application advertising, Distributive Justice, Interactive Justice, and Relevance have a positive impact to Satisfaction. In addition, Distributive Justice, Authenticity and Satisfaction also have a positive impact to Trust. Ultimately, Satisfaction and Trust have a positive impact to Service Recovery. The results of this study are expected as a reference for presenting a new business model for mobile application advertising industry, reducing business risk and enriching the related researches.
