제1형 당뇨병 아동의 긍정적 심리요인에 대한 탐색적 연구: 주관적 행복감과 삶의 만족감을 중심으로 (Exploring Positive Psychology of Children with Type 1 Diabetes Focusing on Subjective Happiness and Satisfaction with Life)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe the subjective happiness and satisfaction with life of children with type 1 diabetes and explore related factors. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study design was used and the study was conducted with children at a diabetes camp. Data were collected using a self-report questionnaire to explore positive and negative psychological factors. The questionnaire included Subjective Happiness Scale, Satisfaction with Life Scale, Perceived Stress Scale and the Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale for Children (CES-DC), Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, and General Self-Efficacy Scale. Results: Data from 15 children were used for data analysis. The correlational analysis results showed that subjective happiness was positively correlated satisfaction with life, social support, and self-efficacy, and was negatively correlated with perceived stress. Satisfaction with life was positively correlated social support, and was negatively correlated with perceived stress. Conclusion: Results indicate that the positive psychology factors were closely related with social support and self-efficacy and may alleviate perceived stress and depressive feelings. Therefore, researchers and clinicians should include positive psychological factors in their health management model for children with chronic illness.

여대생의 건강증진 생활양식과 관련된 변인 분석 (Predictors of Health Promoting Lifestyles in College Women)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors influencing health promoting lifestyles in college women thus providing the basic data necessary to establish a health promoting program. The subjects of this study were 274 college women, living in Seoul, Chung-Buk, and Kangwon, during the period from May 10 to July 15, 2000. The instruments for this study were the health promoting lifestyles scale developed by Bak, Insuk(1995), the self efficacy scale by Sherer et al. (1982), the social support scale by Su, Moonja(1988), the self-esteem scale by Rosenberg(1965) and the perceived health status scale by Lawton et al.(1982). The results of this study are as follows; 1. The average score for health promoting lifestyles was 2.45 on a 4 point scale. The health promoting lifestyles categories 'harmony relationships' (3.04) and 'sanitary life'(3.02) revealed higher scores, whereas scores for 'healthy diet' (2.32), 'exercise & activity' (2.14) and 'professional health management' (1.48) were lower. 2. The mean score for self-efficacy, social support, self esteem and perceived health status was 3.38 (on a 5 point scale), 2.88 (on a 4 point scale), 2.98(on a 4 point scale) and 3.08(on a 5 point scale) respectively. 3. Health promoting lifestyles showed significant positive correlation with self efficacy, social support, self esteem and perceived health status. 4. Stepwise multiple regression analysis revealed that the most powerful predictor of health promoting lifestyle was self efficacy. Self efficacy, social support, and perceived health status have significant effects on health promoting lifestyles. These predictive variables of health promoting lifestyles explained 25% of variance. Finally, the result of this study will provide important factors for the development of a nursing intervention program for the promotion of healthy lifestyles in college women.

The subjects of this study were 392 undergraduate students, living in Seoul, Chung-Buk, and Kangwon, during the period from May 10 to July 15, 2000. The instruments for this study were the health promoting lifestyles scale developed by Bak, Insuk(l995), the hardiness scale by Suh, Yeonok(1995), the social support scale by Su, Moonja(l988), and the perceived health status scale by Lawton et al.(l982). The results of this study are as follows; 1. The average score for health promoting lifestyles was 2.47 on 4 point scale. The health promoting lifestyles categories ‘harmony relationships’(3.08) and ‘sanitary life’(2.97) revealed higher scores, whereas scores for ‘healthy diet’(2.31), ‘exercise & activity’(2.20) and ‘professional health management’(1.48) were lower. 2. The mean score for hardiness, social support and perceived health status was 4.43(on 6 point scale), 2.91(on 4 point scale) and 3.11(on 5 point scale) respectively. 3. There was a statistically significant difference in degree of health promoting lifestyle according to religion(t=2.05, p=0.04) and spending money per month(F=2.98, p=0.03). 4. Health promoting lifestyles showed significant positive correlation with hardiness, social support, and perceived health status. 5. Stepwise multiple regression analysis revealed that the most powerful predictor of health promoting lifestyle was hardiness. Social support and perceived health status have significant effects on health promoting lifestyles. These predictive variables of health promoting lifestyles explained 24% of variance. Finally, the result of this study will provide important factors for the development of a nursing intervention program for the promotion of healthy lifestyles in Korean undergraduate students.

  • 본 연구는 사회적 지지가 자존감을 매개로 주관적 웰빙에 미치는 영향을 검증하는데 초점을 두었다. 이러한 과정에 있어서 주관적 웰빙을 향상시킬 수 있는 핵심 변수로 자존감의 매개역할을 명확히 규명하였다. 본 연구는 이를 검증하기 위해 한국 내 대학에 유학하고 있는 외국인 유학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 후 실증분석을 진행하였다. 실증분석을 통해 사회적 지지는 자존감을 향상시키고 자존감은 주관적 웰빙의 수준을 향 시키는 요소로 볼 수 있다는 것을 검증하였다. 더 나아가 자존감은 사회적 지지와 주관적 웰빙 간의 관계에 있어서 부분 매개효과를 가진다는 것이 밝혀졌다. 마지막으로 본 연구를 통한 실무적 시사점들을 제시함과 동시에 향후의 연구 방향에 대해 논의하였다.

만성질환자의 사회적 지지, 기분과 운동이행계획수립에 관한 연구 (Social Support, Mood, and Commitment to a Plan for Exercise of Korean Adults with Chronic Diseases)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to assess social support, mood, and commitment to a plan for exercise of Korean adults with chronic diseases. Further, the relationships between social support, mood, and commitment to a plan for exercise were assessed. Method: The participants in this study were 230 Korean adults over 18 years of age with chronic diseases who were recruited in hospitals or health centers. The instruments used in this study were Exercise Social Support Scale, POMS (Profile of Mood States), and Commitment to a Plan for Exercise Scale. Result: The results of descriptive analysis showed that Korean adults with chronic diseases were perceived with relatively low commitment to a plan for exercise while they were perceived with moderate social support and mood states. Pearson's correlation coefficient showed significant relationship between these three variables. Stepwise regression indicated that 37% of the variance in commitment to a plan for exercise was explained by social support and vigor factor of the POMS. Conclusion: Health professionals can use this information for planning a targeted strategy to increase regular exercise among Korean adults with chronic diseases in order to improve their quality of life and control disease-related symptoms.

보육교사의 직장 내 사회적 지지가 직무만족도에 미치는 영향: 대인관계 유능성의 매개효과 (The Impact of Social Support in the Workplace on Job Satisfaction Among Childcare Centers Teachers: The Mediating Role of Interpersonal Competence)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to verify whether teachers' interpersonal competence serves as a mediator between perceived social support in the workplace, as perceived by childcare teachers, and their level of job satisfaction. Methods: The participants of this study comprised 422 childcare teachers employed in childcare centers across Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province. Correlation analysis was performed using the collected data to examine the relationships between variables. Additionally, regression analysis was carried out to validate the mediating role of interpersonal relationship competence in the association between workplace social support and job satisfaction. Results: The study's findings revealed a positive correlation between interpersonal competence and job satisfaction. The study successfully confirmed the mediating role of interpersonal competence among childcare teachers in the connection between workplace social support and job satisfaction. Conclusion/Implications: The results suggest that enhancing the job satisfaction of childcare teachers requires identifying diverse social support systems within childcare centers that influence them. It is imperative to formulate strategies that highly value social support and concurrently enhance interpersonal skills.

대학생의 부모애착과 사회적 지지가 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향 (Relationships Among Parental Attachment, Social Support and Adjustment to College Life)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대학생이 지각한 부모애착과 사회적 지지가 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향력을 검증하고자 한다. 이를 위해 부산시에 소재한 4개의 4년제 대학교 학생 386명을 대상으로 부모애착, 사회적지지, 대학생활적응 검사를 실시하였다 부모애착, 사회적지지, 대학생활적응의 관계를 알아보기 위해 상관분석을 실시하고, 대학생활적응에 가장 영향력 있는 변인을 밝히기 위해 단계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부 애착, 모 애착, 사회적 지지 및 대학생활적응 간에 유의미한 정적상관을 나타냈다. 둘째, 부, 모 애착과 친구 사회적 지지가 학업적응, 사회적응, 개인-정서적응, 대학환경적응에 더 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구결과, 대학생활적응을 위해서 학교와 학과, 대학 상담센터에서의 다양한 정책적인 연구와 부모-자녀 관계 개선과 친구지지를 도울 수 있는 프로그램 개발 및 상담의 중요성을 시사하고 있다.

중학생 영재가 지각한 사회적 지지와 학교생활 적응과의 관계 (The Relationships Between the Perception of Social Support and the Adjustment to School Life of Gifted Middle School Students.)

  • The purpose of this study were to examine:(l)gifted middle school students'perception about Support fr~mpe ople around them, (2)the types of social support, (3)the number of support, and (4)the relationships among the factors above and the students' adjustment to school life The results obtained were as follows. On the whole, gifted middle school students obtained social support and their adjustment to school of life was higher than that of average students'. The rriore the students perceived support and help around them, the more they adjusted to their schlml life. The better important relationship was that of teachers' support and the student.,' adjustment to shool life. Namely, when the students perceived their teacher(support, their adjustment to a new school was greater. This study brmrght to atterltion that the teachers' understanding of the gifted students' specific character. In addition, a close relationship between teachers and the students was to be encouraged.

Marketer Generated Content on Social Media: How to Support Corporate Online Distribution

  • Purpose: More and more marketers use social media platforms to create and spread information called Marketer Generated Content (MGC) to inform consumers of products. MGC often embeds product purchase links, thus directing consumers to online distribution channels for online purchases. This study examined the effect of social media MGC on consumers' willingness to buy online in the anchor of consumers' perspective to answer the question of "how social media generated content support corporate online distribution". Research design, data, and methodology: According to the means-end-chain theory, we introduce perceived value and continuous following intention as chain mediators to explain the mechanism of MGC influence on consumers' online purchase intention and consider product type to discuss boundary conditions. Two experiments were designed to test hypothesizes. Results and Conclusion: First, emotional MGC (vs. informational MGC) has lower (higher) perceived utility (hedonic) value. Second, perceived value has a significant mediate role in the effect of MGC on continuous following intention. Third, perceived value and continuous following intention significantly and sequentially mediated the effect of MGC on online purchase intention. Through the sequential mediations of perceived utility value and continuous following intention, Informational MGC of search products significantly increase online purchase intentions. Another parallel sequential mediation, including perceived hedonic, emotional MGC of experience products, partially enhanced online purchase intentions. Finally, this study gives implications for how corporates can use social media MGC to promote product sales online.

암환자가 지각한 사회적지지, 희망과 삶의 질과의 관계 (The Relationship among Percieved Social Support, Hope and Quality of Life of Cancer Patients)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among percieved social support, hope and quality of life of the cancer patients and to gain the baseline data for development of nursing intervention program for promoting quality of life in cancer patients. The design of this study was a cross sectional correlational survey. The subjects were 220 out and in-cancer patients in 5 general hospitals in Pusan. The data were collected from July 2 to August 1, 2001. The instruments were the Percieved social support scale(16 items, 5 point scale) had developed by Tae(1986), Hope scale(12 items, 4point scale) developed by Nowotny(1989) and Quality of life scale(31 items, 10 point scale) developed by Tae et al.(2000). The data was analyzed by the SPSS/PC+ program using frequency & percentage, item mean & standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA & Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation coefficient. The results of this study was as follows: 1) The item mean score of quality of life was $6.05{\pm}1.16$ (range 0-10). The highest score of subarea of the quality of life was the spiritual wellbeing area ($7.09{\pm}1.63$) and the lowest score was social wellbeing area ($5.53{\pm}1.65$). The mean score of perceived social support was $52.65{\pm}10.32$ (최저 1, 최고 80). The mean score of family support was $32.71{\pm}6.66$ (range 1-40) and the mean score of medical team support was $19.93{\pm}5.95$ (range 1-40). The mean score of Hope was $37.02{\pm}5.64$ (range 1-48). 2) There were statistically significant difference in the score of quality of life according to the life effect of religion(F=3.97, p=0.00), treatment method(F=2.94, p=0.01), area of diagnosis(F= 3.48, p=0.01), stage of disease (F=13.74, p=0.00). 3) There was significant correlation between perceived social support(r=0.44, p=0.000 ; family support ; r=0.334, p=0.000, medical support; r=0.395, p=0.000), hope(r=0.563, p=0.000) and quality of life. In conclusion, there was a significant relationship among perceived social support, hope and quality of life. Therefore perceived social support, hope intervention programs should be developed to improve the quality of life in cancer patients.
