  • It is hard to protect the copyright of the medical images by the Copyright Act because the medical images have the digital property. Especially, if people copy the medical image, another original one will be created. Thus, people send the original medical image to the others unconsciously. After all, it can not dispute about who made the image for the first time. Nowadays, the medical environment has been changed to the digital environment rapidly. So, the study on the security of the medical image is needed. In this paper, we search the significant problems of the part and we research the security of the medical image using the watermark for addressing the problems. However, we could know that our study has the limitation of the legal certification because we could not guarantee about the integrity that is the important feature of the medical images.

A Study on the Image of Radiologists Perceived by College Students of Radiology (방사선과 대학생이 지각하는 방사선사 이미지에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to grasp the image of radiologists perceived by college students of radiology. The survey subjects of this study were selected college students with major in radiology with 3-year system who are attending universities where are located in Daegu and Gyeongbuk area. As for distribution and collection of questionnaire, the objective of research was explained from April 2, 2012 to April 30. 220 people's questionnaires were finally analyzed with a self-administrative method after being widely distributed. Statistical analysis was carried out frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and correlation analysis. To examine factors of having influence upon the image of radiologists, the multiple regression analysis was carried out. As for survey subjects' general characteristics, gender was indicated to be 58.2% for men and 41.8% for women. School year accounted for 38.2% for freshman, 29.1% for sophomore, and 32.7% for junior. Age was the largest in under 21 years old with 43.6%. The next was in order of over 23 years old with 32.7% and 22 years old with 20%. As a result of research, the image of radiologists was being perceived positively. The radiologist was being recognized as a specialist who is sincere oneself and has strong responsibilities, does valuable and worthwhile work, and has the matured professional knowledge. However, the individual image of radiologists was a little negative. Accordingly, to promote the individual image of radiologists, a specific and positive strategy is needed for approaching people as the specialized job with autonomy and responsibility as well as radiologist oneself.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the uniform image of Korean herbal cosmetic brands amongst Korean and Chinese consumers. This study would enable us to explore a BI strategy to enhance international competitiveness of Korean herbal cosmetics brands. The results were as follows. The key words of BI pursued by Sulwhasoo were dignified, novel, graceful, soft, gaily, natural, Korean, modern, and international. Korean people felt that the uniform was graceful and soft, which accorded with Sulwhasoo BI, but also it was trite and dingy, indicating a negative and opposing image. On the other hand, Chinese people felt that the uniform was dignified, novel, graceful, natural, modern, and international, indicating that it matched with Sulwhasoo BI. In The History of Whoo, the key words of BI pursued by the brand were precious, soft, gorgeous, gaily, and natural. The Koreans felt that the uniform was intelligent, and decent, but conversely, it was also austere and dingy, indicating a negative image. The Chinese felt that the uniform was common, hard, austere, dingy, and unnatural, indicating an opposing image to BI. Finally, a uniform design was developed to improve on its problems, establish The History of Whoo's brand identity, and its brand image. First of all, 'The Quintessence : noble passion' was set up as a developmental concept. The textiles, clothing, and accessories were designed using the symbolic elements from The History of Whoo as a motif. Uniforms were developed for spring, fall, and summer.

Changes in Electroencephalographic Results and Heart Rate Variability after Exposure to Green Landscape Photographs Correlated with Color Temperature and Illumination Level

  • Background and objective: Various images from visual display terminals (VDTs) as well as living lighting are important parts of our daily life; thus, properly controlling the lighting environment - that is, illuminance, color temperature and good images from VDTs - can have a substantial effect on improving the mental health and work efficiency in everyday life. We examined electroencephalography (EEG) and heart rate variability (HRV) responses to various lighting conditions in 25 university students as they viewed images of a green landscape or traffic congestion. Methods: EEG was performed in darkness and when the room was illuminated with 10 different light-emitting diode (LED) color temperatures, while the EEG and HRV responses to green landscape or traffic congestion image stimuli were measured in darkness and during room illumination with three different LED color temperatures. Results: We found a significant difference between darkness and high LED illumination (400 lx) at 7 (CZ, F4, FZ, O1, O2, OZ, and T6) of 30 channels, while the alpha wave activity increased during darkness. In the second experiment, the green landscape image stimuli in the 30 lx-2600 K lighting condition elicited theta wave activity on the EEG, whereas the traffic congestion image stimuli under high LED illumination elicited high beta and gamma wave activities. Moreover, the subjects exhibited better stress coping ability and heart rate stability in response to green landscape image stimuli under illuminated conditions, according to their HRV. Conclusion: These results suggest that lower color temperatures and illumination levels alleviate tension, and that viewing green landscape image stimuli at low illumination, or in darkness, is effective for reducing stress. Conversely, high illumination levels and color temperatures are likely to increase tension and stress in response to traffic congestion image stimuli.

ISFRNet: A Deep Three-stage Identity and Structure Feature Refinement Network for Facial Image Inpainting

  • Modern image inpainting techniques based on deep learning have achieved remarkable performance, and more and more people are working on repairing more complex and larger missing areas, although this is still challenging, especially for facial image inpainting. For a face image with a huge missing area, there are very few valid pixels available; however, people have an ability to imagine the complete picture in their mind according to their subjective will. It is important to simulate this capability while maintaining the identity features of the face as much as possible. To achieve this goal, we propose a three-stage network model, which we refer to as the identity and structure feature refinement network (ISFRNet). ISFRNet is based on 1) a pre-trained pSp-styleGAN model that generates an extremely realistic face image with rich structural features; 2) a shallow structured network with a small receptive field; and 3) a modified U-net with two encoders and a decoder, which has a large receptive field. We choose structural similarity index (SSIM), peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR), L1 Loss and learned perceptual image patch similarity (LPIPS) to evaluate our model. When the missing region is 20%-40%, the above four metric scores of our model are 28.12, 0.942, 0.015 and 0.090, respectively. When the lost area is between 40% and 60%, the metric scores are 23.31, 0.840, 0.053 and 0.177, respectively. Our inpainting network not only guarantees excellent face identity feature recovery but also exhibits state-of-the-art performance compared to other multi-stage refinement models.

An Analysis of Fashion Life Style and Purchasing Type for the Consumer, According to Fashion Trade Area - Focused on Taegu Fashion Trade Area - (패션 상권(商圈)에 따른 소비자(消費者)의 패션라이프 스타일과 의복구매류형분석(衣服購買類型分析))

  • This study is to analyze consumer's visiting fashion trade area. The purpose of this study, focused on Taegu fashion area, Dongsungro and Bum udong, consumer's spatical beravior, fashion- life-style, clothing purchasing type and Store- Image, etc. This study targeted 580 women aged from 15 to 25 visiting fashion trade area. The methods of measuring include consumer behavior scale, fashion life style scale, clothing purchasing type scale and Stor - Image scale. In process of statistics, the frequency was used to measure consumer's spatical behavior, MANOVA to measure, fashion life style and $\chi^2$ examination was employed to measure clothing purchasing type. The followings are the conclusions of this study ; 1. consumer's spatical behavior by FTA(fashion trade area) : Most people visiting Dongsungro A trade area and Bum udong trade area depart home, while Dongsungro B trade area from school. In case of Bum udong trade area, in particular, more people move from other trade area than people do in Dongsungro trade area. 2. Consumer spatical behavior means by FTA : Bus is far most common transportation. 3. The purpose of visit by FTA : Most people visit Dongsungro B trade area for shopping, while Bum udong trade area for shopping and as a place for appointment. 4. The visiting frequency by FTA : In case of both Dongsungro A.B trade area and Bum udong trade area, at least once a week is most common. Particularly in case of Bum udong trade area, the number of people visiting once every three months and once more than six months is almost same. 5. A company by FTA : People accompanied by the same sex friends are most common in Both Dongsungro A, B trade area and Bum udong trade area in case of Dongsungro B trade area. There is no case of people accompanied by family. 6. The purpose of purchasing fashion comodities by FTA : In case of Dongsungro A trade area for recreation. In case of Dongsungro B trade area and Bum udong trade area, because of affordable price. 7. A Brand - pursued tendency by FTA : Much higher in Dongsungro trade area than Bum udong trade area, among consumers. A character - pursued tendency by FTA : Higher in Dongsungro A than Dongsungro B,A practical tendency and symphatetic tendency Higher in Dongsungro B than Dongsungro A or Bum udong trade area. 8. A Store - Image scale by FTA : The quality of goods is more important to consumers in Dongsungro B than to consumers in Dongsungro A. The data - service and atmosphere are much more important to consumers in Dongsungro B than to consumers in Dongsungro A and Bum udong trade area. The convenience is more important to consumers in Dongsungro B Bum udong trade area than to consumers in Dongsungro A. 9. There is no significant difference among clothing purchasing types by FTA.

People Counting Using Hough Transform in Video Images (Hough 변환을 이용한 비디오 영상내 사람의 계수)

  • Monitoring and analyzing people in video images are important and attract attention from many researchers in computer vision field. In this paper, we propose a new technique by which people overlapped one another in an image can be extracted and counted. After extracting moving people from video images as foreground, their heads are searched by Hough Transform inside the foreground. Since heads are comparatively stable in spite of motion in video images, semicircles along the head tops can be important features to be found in an edge map. In our experiment, the technique successfully separated people who existed at the same vertical positions, which was Impossible by existing techniques. Meanwhile, it showed high dependency on edge information and false results were obtained when the rather were rather incomplete.

  • Enterprise which is rapidly growing in Korea is hesitating because of economic depression lately. Large enterprise have been successfully growing with Korea economic growth for fifty years. But many of them have already gone bankrupt and face the crisis of management, many people look away from them. Large enterprise come to face the time which they strongly need the improvement of their image against the devalation of their one. It is more important to use external periodicals than excess PR advertisement for the improvement of the image. External periodicals is aimed at readers who is outside of company and company PR advertisement, the purpose of issuing external periodicals is to improve the image of enterprise by arranging organization, draw attention from people (PR) and produce profit by acceleration marketing. People is much interested in external periodicals(free) under the situation of IMF because they can easily get information from that. So the role of external periodicals become more important for enterprise PR. This paper shows the importance of the edit design in external periodicals. We analysed the edit design (five group) per composition factor, suggest the improvement plan. ·The distinction of cover. ·Clear, beautiful typographic arrangement. ·The specialty of Photo and illustration. · Characteristic & standard layout. Now external periodicals is getting important because it shows the idea and character of company to people (PR). So it need characteristic plan and creative layout with the impotance by the understanding of the executive in company and also more does creation & originality by edit designer day by day. External periodicals should be not only the improvement of the image but also leading information paper which sensitively cope which an age by news and editing which can match people's need.

Usefulness Evaluation of HRCT using Reconstruction in Chest CT (흉부CT 검사 시 HRCT 영상 재구성의 유용성)

  • Purpose : Skip the repetitive HRCT axial scan in order to reduce the exposure of patients during chest HRCT scan, Helical Scan Data into a reconstructed image, and exposure of the patient change and visually evaluate the usefulness of the HRCT images. Materials and method : Patients were enrolled in the survey are 50 people who underwent chest CT scans of patients who presented to the hospital from January 2015 to March 2015. 50 people surveyed 22 people men and 28 people women people showed an average distribution of 30 to 80 years age was 48 years. 50 patients to Somatom Sensation 64 ch (Siemens) model with 120 kVp tube voltage to a reference mAs tube current to mAs (Care dose, Siemens) as a whole, including the lungs and the chest CT scan was performed. Scan upon each patient CARE dose 4D (Automatic exposure control, Siemens Medical Solution Erlangen, Germany) was to maintain the proper radiation dose scan every cross-section through a device that automatically adjusts the tube current of. CT scan is the rotation time of the Tube slice collimation, slice width 0.6 mm, pitch factor was made under the terms of 1.4. CT scan obtained after the raw data (raw data) to the upper surface of the axial images and coronal images for each slice thickness 1 mm, 5 mm intervals in the high spatial frequency calculation method (hight spatial resolution algorithm, B60 sharp) was the use of the lung window center -500 HU, windows were reconstructed into images in the interval -1000 HU to see. Result : 1. Measure the total value of DLP 50 patients who proceed to chest CT group A (Helical Scan after scan performed with HRCT) and group B (Helical Scan after the HR image reconstruction to the original data) compared with the group divided, analysis As a result of the age, but show little difference for each age group it had a decreased average dose of about 9%. 2. A Radiation read the results of the two Radiologist and a doctor upper lobe and middle lobe of the lung takes effect the visual evaluation is not a big difference between the two images both, depending on the age of the patient, especially if the blood vessels of the lower lobe (A: 3.4, B: 4.6) and bronchi(A: 3.8, B4.7) image shake caused by breathing in anxiety (blurring lead) to the original data (raw data) showed that the reconstructed image is been more useful in diagnostic terms. Conclusion : Scan was confirmed a continuous, rapid motion video to get Helical scan is much lower lobe lung reduction in visual blurring, Helical scan data to not repeat the examination by obtaining HRCT images reorganization reduced the exposure of the patient.

Real-time Multiple People Tracking using Competitive Condensation (경쟁적 조건부 밀도 전파를 이용한 실시간 다중 인물 추적)

  • The CONDENSATION (Conditional Density Propagation) algorithm has a robust tracking performance and suitability for real-time implementation. However, the CONDENSATION tracker has some difficulties with real-time implementation for multiple people tracking since it requires very complicated shape modeling and a large number of samples for precise tracking performance. Further, it shows a poor tracking performance in the case of close or partially occluded people. To overcome these difficulties, we present three improvements: First, we construct effective templates of people´s shapes using the SOM (Self-Organizing Map). Second, we take the discrete HMM (Hidden Markov Modeling) for an accurate dynamical model of the people´s shape transition. Third, we use the competition rule to separate close or partially occluded people effectively. Simulation results shows that the proposed CONDENSATION algorithm can achieve robust and real-time tracking in the image sequences of a crowd of people.
