The molecular structural properties of amylopectins of Chunmabyeo(Japonica), Yongmunbyeo($Indica{\times}Japonica$) and Mahatma(Indica) rice were investigated. The intrinsic viscosity of Chunmabyeo, Yongmunbyeo and Mahatma amylopectin were 148.3 ml/g, 156.6 ml/g and 167.5 ml/g, and ${\beta}-amylolysis$ limit(%) were 54.6, 55.4 and 52.9 respectively. Average unit chain length(${\overline{CL}}$) and average inner chain length(${\overline{ICL}}$) of Mahatma amylopectin were longer than other varieties. Elution profiles by Sephadex G-50 chromatography of debranched amylopectins with ${\beta}-amylase$ showed two peaks (void volume, ${\overline{DP}}$3) and the elution profiles of debranched amylopectins with pullulanase showed three peaks(void volume, ${\overline{DP}}$35-45, ${\overline{DP}}$10-20). The ratio of Peak III(${\overline{DP}}$10-20) to Peak II (${\overline{DP}}$ 35-45) of Chunmbyeo, Yongmunbyeo and Mahatma amylopectin were 3.9, 3.4 and 3.3, respectively.
The examination to find out how the activity of glutamine synthetase (GSA) develop in each wheat leaves during the growth period was carried out. GSA/g FW/leaf were very low at leaf differentiation stage and increased highly several times by unfolding and development of leaf, and declined deeply with the advance of senescence in each leaves. GSA/g FW/leaf were risen gradually from the every lower leaves to the every upper leaves, in consequence activity level and maximum peak per g fresh weight of 7th-flag leaves were two or three times higher than those at the 1st-4th leaves in all of 12 applied nitrogen treatments, thereupon. the highest activities per g fresh weight showed in the 8th leaves. GSA/g FW/leaf was shown two peaks in the 6th-flag leaves and one peak in 1st-4th leaves, respectively. GSA/g FW/leaf (except for senescence leaves) and GSA/plant were increased gradually to the infloresscence emerging stage and were shown the first maximum peak at 13 days before anthesis, then were declined rapidly. to the milk ripe stage (7 days after anthesis). and were shown the second maximum peak at the early dough ripe stage (22 days after anthesis) .

In this paper, a new pitch beginning point detection method by extracting the G-peak, is proposed. By the speech production model, the area of the first peak on a pitch interval of speech signals is emphasized. By using the above characteristics, this method have more advantages than the others for pitch beginning point detection. The defective decision caused by an impulsive noise is minimized and the pre-filtering is not necessary for this method, because the integration of signals takes place in the process.

In order to predict inelastic displacement response without nonlinear dynamic analysis, the equal displacement rule can be used for the structures with longer natural periods than the characteristic period, $T_g$, of earthquake record. In the period range longer than $T_g$, peak displacement responses of elastic systems are equal or larger than those of inelastic systems. In the period range shorter than $T_g$, opposite trend occurs. In the equal displacement rule, it is assumed that peak displacement of inelastic system with longer natural period than $T_g$ equals to that of elastic system with same natural period. The equal displacement rule is very useful for seismic design purpose of structures with longer natural period than $T_g$. In the period range shorter than $T_g$, the peak displacement of inelastic system can be simply evaluated from the peak displacement of elastic system by using the inelastic displacement ratio, which is defined as the ratio of the peak inelastic displacement to the peak elastic displacement. Smooth hysteretic behavior is more similar to actual response of real structural system than a piece-wise linear hysteretic behavior such as bilinear or stiffness degrading behaviors. In this paper, the inelastic displacement ratios of the smooth hysteretic behavior system are evaluated for far-fault and near-fault earthquakes. The simple formula of inelastic displacement ratio considering the effect of $T_g$ is proposed.
Glucomannan(G.M.)은 Amorphophallus Konjac C. Koch의 tuber로부터 분리되었고. 이 G.M.은 다시 침전제로 메탄올을 사용하여 4단계로 분별되었다.(F.1, F.2, F.3, F.4,). 각분 별물에 비하여 직선으로부터 벗어남을 보였다. Low shear viscometer로 G.M.
In this study, the TSC spectroscopy has been applied to investigate the influence of structural change due to a process of curing reaction on the electrical properties of epoxy composites cured with acid-anhydride. Five TSC peaks appeared in -160-250[.deg.C]: in the low temperature region below glass transition temperature(T$\_$g/), three relaxation mode peaks due to action of side chains, substitution group or terminal groups have been observed, a peak associated with T$\_$g/, appeared in 110[.deg. C] and p peak due to ionic space charges located in 150[.deg.C]. Each peak was separated into elementary peaks by the partial polarization procedure, and the distribution of activation energy and relaxation time were analized to clearify the origin of each peak. Also, overaboundantly added hardener separated a .betha. peak near 10[.deg. C] into two peaks of .betha.$\_$1/(10.deg. C) and .betha.$\_$2/(20.deg. C) according to increasement of forming field, and the separated hardener was oxidated thermally with increasing surrounding temperatures. The expansion of the free volume need in molecular motion and the reduction of the structural packing density through thermal oxidation process increased TSC between .alpha. peak and .betha. peak and decreased T$\_$g/.
It is important to exactly detect the GCI(Glottal Closure Instant) in the speech signal processing. A few methods to detect the GCI of voiced speech have een proposer, untill now. But these are difficult to detect the GCI for wide range of speakers and or various vowel signals. In this paper, we prposed a new method for GCI detection using the G-peak. The speech waveforms are passed through the LPF of variable bandwidth. Then, the GCI's of voiced speech are detected by the G-peak based on the filtered signals. We compared the detected with the eye-checked GCI at the SNR of clean, 20dB, and 0dB. We took into account the range within 1ms between eye-checked and detected GCI. We obtained the result of the detection rate as 97.9% in the clean speech, 96.5% in 20dB SNR, and 94.8% in 0dB SNR, respectively.

In this research, pristine graphene was synthesized using methane ($CH_4$) gas, and N-doped graphene was synthesized using pyridine ($C_5H_5N$) liquid source by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method. Basic optical properties of both pristine and N-doped graphene were investigated by Raman spectroscopy and XPS (X-ray photoemission spectroscopy), and electrical transport characteristics were estimated by current-voltage response of graphene channel as a function of gate voltages. Results for CVD grown pristine graphene from methane gas show that G-peak, 2D-peak and C1s-peak in Raman spectra and XPS. Charge neutral point (CNP; Dirac-point) appeared at about +4 V gate bias in electrical characterization. In the case of pyridine based CVD grown N-doped graphene, D-peak, G-peak, weak 2D-peak were observed in Raman spectra and C1s-peak and slight N1s-peak in XPS. CNP appeared at -96 V gate bias in electrical characterization. These result show successful control of the property of graphene artificially synthesized by CVD method.

In this paper, we describe a new algorithm for extracting nasal sound in continuous speech. We obtain pitches by using Area Comparison Method and extract nasal sound by comparing the area of G-peak and the area of side peak in one pitch interval. By using this method, the process can be speeded up. Therefore realtime processing is possible with a general microprocessor.
