The purpose of this study is to define the process of leading to self-realization and social solidarity through the process of contents planning, production, and distribution as Contents Activism, and to categorize specific execution steps. Based on this, we try to analyze concrete cases to find out the social meaning and effect of the practice of Contents Activism. As for the research method, after examining the differences between traditional activism and Contents Activism through a review of previous studies, the implementation process of Contents Activism was categorized into 7 steps. By applying this model, this study analyzed two cases of Contents Activism. The first case is the 100 laps challenge in the backyard planned by an elderly man ahead of his 100th birthday in early 2020, when the fear of COVID-19 spread. Sir Tom Moore, who lives in the UK, challenged to walk 100 laps in the backyard to help medical staff from the National Health Service as COVID-19 infections and deaths increased due to a lack of protective equipment. His challenge, which is difficult to walk without assistive devices due to cancer surgery and fall aftereffects, drew sympathy and participation from many people, leading to global solidarity. The second case analyzes the case of 'The Unfreedom of Expression, Afterwards' by Kim Seo-kyung and Kim Woon-seong, who were invited to the 2019 Aichi Triennale special exhibition in Japan. The 'Unfreedom of Expression, After' exhibition was a project to display the Statue of Peace and the lives of comfort women in the Japanese military, but it was withdrawn after three days of war due to threats and attacks from the far-right forces. Overseas artists who heard this news resisted the Triennale's decision, took and shared photos in the same pose as the Statue of Peace on social media such as Twitter and Instagram, empathizing with the historical significance of the Statue of Peace. Activism, which began with artists, has expanded through social media to the homes, workplaces, and streets of ordinary citizens living in various regions. The two cases can be said to be Contents Activism that led to social practice while solidifying and communicating with someone through contents.

The Korean National Commission for Unesco has helped Korean Unesco Associated Schools undertake environmental studies within the framework of education for international understanding, cooperation and peace from 1991 - 1993. The environmental studies enjoyed participation by nine Associated Schools among 35 throughout the country, with each school on a different theme each year. Environmental studies by the Unesco Associated Schools are differentiated from those by the former continues to work on environmental or Provincial Boards of Education. The former continues to work on environmental education, longer than 1 - 2 years, and they can also capitalize on the international networks of the ASP, which may be instrumental to understanding the worldwide nature of the environmental issues these days. This paper contains a breif explanation of the cases of environmental studies by level of education from primary to teacher education level. It is argued that through the study, the students of Unesco Associated Schools well recognize the seriousness of environmental problems facing mankind and will have positive attitudes and values towards the preservation of our environment. It is also argued that the studies result in a variety of useful teaching/learning methods for environmental education: students visit to polluted areas. survey, composition of works with environmental themes such as posters, poems, organization of discussion by the students on environmental problems, exhibition, international correspondence, etc. The studies also have produced various helpful reaching/learning materials : photos, slides, scrapbooks of articles on environmental issues from newspapers, etc. However, several problems also emerged through the studies. A few of them are described here ; First, focus on the extra-curricula activity rather than regular curricula results in the neglect of the knowledge base of environmental education. Second, only a part of the all 35 Associated Schools have participated in the project. Third, primary and first secondary students have difficulty in using foreign language which is vital for international activities.

The Korean government has acknowledged the importance of Dokdo Island and has consequently taken various measures for the effective management of it. There has, however, been little quantitative information about the value of Dokdo Island and this study, therefore, attempts to assess the Islands non-market value. To this end, this study estimated the non-market value by MAUT/CVM. The non-market value estimated by MAUT/CVM includes historic value, military value, ecological value, and geological value. According to the results, the values calculated by the price in market is about 10.37 trillion won and the values estimated by MAUT/CVM is about 1.72 trillion won annually.

While Facebook and Twitter get worldwide attention, these popular SNSs are not available in China. As the leading local SNS, Sina Weibo has garnered much of the attention in China. The purpose of the study was to explore why Chinese college students use Sina Weibo and if gender differences exist in the motivations for using it. The results from a survey of 360 respondents show that Chinese students used Sina Weibo mainly for information-gathering, followed by accessibility to celebrity, social connection, self-presentation and entertainment. Among them the most dominant reason for using Sina Weibo was found to be information-gathering. This finding suggests that Sina Weibo functions as a platform to search for information on social issues and interests. The study also found that these motivations were significantly different between male and female users. Interestingly, female respondents used Sina Weibo much more broadly than male counterparts, accessing it to satisfy all needs such as information gathering, accessibility to celebrity, social connection, self-presentation and entertainment. Based on these findings limitations and direction for future studies are discussed.

After the yield of North Korea conducted underground the first nuclear test in 2006, which was less than a kiloton, it launched a vehicle on this April 9 again, which is believed to be a Taepo-dong 2 missile, defying international warnings that the move would violate U.N. resolutions, from Musudan-ni, North Korea. Its development and proliferation of ballistic missile and nuclear bomb technology pose a threat to the northeast Asian region and to international peace and security. In the other launching the missile, a newspaper reported that "While the launch was dubbed a failure by the U.S., it was an improvement over the North Koreans' July 2006 test of the Taepodong-2, said Green of the Center for Strategic and International Studies. "It was definitely better than last time, but it's still not an operational system," Green said.

Taepyungmu is a performing art that can be called the most skillful dance among Korean dances. It expresses the meaning of honoring the peace and peacefulness of the country in dance. The construction of 3D stereoscopic digital contents for Taepyungmu is in a series of processes such as 3D recording of intangible cultural properties and implementation of hologram contents. The purpose is to try various possibilities through various technologies and methods, to establish a technical basis of the preservation paradigm change of intangible cultural properties and to present a leading direction to realize real digital cultural properties.

This study compares the inverse transform and the composition methods for generating data from the Lindley distribution. The expression for the inverse of the distribution function for the Lindley distribution does not exist in closed form. Hence, authors of many empirical studies on the Lindley distribution used methods for generating Lindley variates other than the inverse transform. We generated data from the Lindley distribution using the inverse transform approach by obtaining the Lindley variates numerically; we also generated data from this distribution using the composition approach. Following the generation of the Lindley variates using these two methods, we compare some statistical properties of the estimates of the Lindley model parameters based on the generated data. We conclude that the two methods produce similar results.

This research suggests a simulator regarding the Manufacturing Process of Electrical Substation System using a simulation method. This study is to propose and apply a new concept of simulation modeling, referred to as integrated Aspect-Oriented Modeling Approach (i-AOMA), in order to efficiently support the design and analysis of a Manufacturing Process of Electrical Substation System. The modeling based on i-AOMA can support easy generation of lots of alternative processes to meet simulation requirements of Manufacturing Process of Electrical Substation System in real case studies.

The accurate and simple extraction method for sterols and fatty acids in sesame oil was developed. The new method improved the extraction efficiency of sesamin in sesame oil and the ratio of sesamin over campesterol. It will be applied to judgement of adulteration of plant edible oils. The minor components of sterols were also confirmed. The simultaneous determination of sterols and fatty acids with derivatization were processed, but it was not enough to confirm adulteration, thus need more experiments.

It is needless to say that America's indiscriminate artillery and chemical attacks have worsened the conditions of Vietnam's tropical rain forests, causing war-torn combat troops and civilians to suffer more from the participation and aftermath of the Vietnam war. Around two decades after the Vietnam War, American and Vietnamese writers dealing with the destruction of the human and nature of the Vietnam War and the following traumatic experience commonly report the horrors of inhumane warfare, but some differences among them appear in the reception of the ecocide consciousness. For American writers who had been involuntarily involved or who had stayed in the back area as interpreters and counter-intelligence force, the Vietnam War was often a kind of exotic "addicted adventure" which their American hometown could not provide. But apart from overcoming postwar post-traumatic stress by writing of healing which was shared with American war writers, Vietnamese writers have been able to overcome the scars of war as the communal memorial, which Jonathan Shay emphasized as the necessary comforting ritual by community members showing the sign of honor and care. On the other hand, American war writers were on the side of "separate peace," as Jeong stressed, and the Vietnam War to them was more racist like the case of "body count." Nevertheless, it is fortunate that the hideous experience of war could turn them all into the creativity pool, just as the 5,000 square mile of bomb creators have been used as the postwar fish ponds.
