IPTV Content delivery systems over wired networks confront scalability problems due to their high network bandwidth requirement for real-time services. Especially, VoD service provides Trick Mode features such as pause, fast forward and similar operations. However, Trick Mode services are delivered by the method of unicast only for controlling of the stream. With a point of views, this paper propose a new real-time multimedia streaming architecture over IP Networks, which tries to achieve bandwidth efficiency and supporting for mass clients better than traditional unicast services. The proposed methods divide the Transport Stream into a series of segments. After that, this divided partial Transport Stream makes multicast streaming periodically. Meanwhile Set-top Box of a client makes a rearrangement orderly by using Presentation Time Stamp field from the served Transport Stream packets. While the current Transport Stream segment is playing, it should be guaranteed that the next segment is downloaded on time. Consequently, the original video content can be played out continuously. The detail introduction of a new real-time multimedia streaming system with analysis and simulation follows as below.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the speech characteristics and speech therapy of Parkinson disease (PD). This study selected 28 papers published in Korea from 1998 to 2018 after searching the terms 'Parkinson voice' and 'Parkinson speech therapy.' Literature review had been conducted in the two aspects of speech characteristics and speech therapy. The speech characteristics were divided into respiration, phonation, articulation, prosody, vowel production, and voice questionnaire. Speech therapy was divided into Lee Sliverman voice treatment (LSVT) and other voice therapy. PD patients did not differ in respiration function compared to normal elderly people, but their speech and articulation function were poorer. There was also a difference in the speech rate, frequency of pause, and accuracy of vowel production compared with normal elderly people. PD had a lower VHI score and their voice related quality of life was a little poorer. The LSVT was typically used in speech therapy for PD. The methods of speech therapy for PD have been shown to improve respiration and phonation. It is necessary to establish voice norms in PD patients and develop effective speech therapy in the following study.

In this paper, an efficient detection algorithm of an anchor shot in news video is presented. We observed the audio visual characteristics of news video and proposed several low level features which are appropriate for detecting an anchor shot in news video. The overall structure of the proposed algorithm is composed of 3 stages: the pause detection, the audio cluster classification, and the matching with motion activity stage. We used the audio features as well as the motion feature in order to improve the indexing accuracy and the simulation results show that the performance of the proposed algorithm is quite satisfactory.

This paper presents the development of the underwater cleaning robot platform for a higher efficiency in manufacturing industry. Human operators directly go into the cistern and clean sludge after drainage of the water so far. It is sometimes dangerous because of the harmful chemical materials from the product making process. In addition, it takes long time for water drainage and supplying it back. However, the robot cleaning operation does not need to drain water so that it could be applied to the sludge cleaning work at any time without the plant pause. Moreover, it can prevent the safety accidents because human operators are not necessary to enter directly the sludge cisterns. This paper shows the performance of cleaning work that can be applied in the industrial field through the design and development of underwater cleaning robot platform. And these results demonstrate that the developed underwater cleaning robot has great possibilities to clean other industrial water cisterns.

The Korean supreme court said that Mrs Kim who was in a persistent vegetative state had a right to die if she had a presumed will or assumption of dying against Severance hospital in 2009. Presumed would be vague and can not be subjective to conjecture though, the court had a developed trial on the case. I recommend the higher valued notion such as the 'right to decide on the life extension' is more logical than assumptive will. To achieve this recommendation, I will search right to life, right to decision, human dignity and find the good relationship between them. In conclusion, I will announce that if PVS patients without advanced directives aren't able to express their will and no one could not assume their right to die in spite of meaningless life extension. So only the due and strict procedure about the extinction of meaningless PVS patients will allow them to sacrifice themselves or remove life extension ventilators. Also active euthanasia would be possible under the strict procedure of making advanced directives and the act of helping active euthanasia additionally, the crime of abetting suicide would not be executed in the legal scope.

Generally, a speaker structures utterances very clearly by grouping words into phrases. This facilitates the listener's recovery of the meaning of the utterance and the speaker's intention. To this purpose, a speaker uses, among other things, prosodic information such as intonation pause, duration, intensity, etc. The research described here is concerned with the relationship between the strength of prosodic boundaries in spoken utterances as perceived by untrained listeners(Perceptual boundary strength, PBS)-In this paper, the preceptual boundary strength is used as the same meaning of the prosodic boundary strength-and prosodic information. We made a rule determinating the prosodic boundaries and verified the usefulness of the prosodic phrase as a recognition unit. Experiments results showed that the performance of speech recognition(SR) is improved in aspect of recognition rate and time compared with that using sentences as recognition unit. In the future we will suggest the methods that estimate more appropriate boundaries and study more various methods of prosody assisted SR.

Objective : Kumsoouyukkun-joen extract(KSE) has been used treating asthma for a long time in korea. In the present study, I examined the effects of KSE on the ovalbumin(OVA)-induced airway hyper-reactivity(AHR). Methods : To examine the effects of KSE on asthma, mice were sensitized with $100{\mu}g$ of OVA and 1 mg of aluminum potassium sulfate(Alum; Sigma)intraperitoneally on day 0 and 7. On day 14, mice were challenged on 3 consecutive days with 5% OVA and AHR was assessed 24 hrs after the last challenge. To examine severity of AHR, I examined eosinophil population and cytokine production in bronchoaveloar lavage fluid(BALF) and stained with hematoxylin and eosin in lung and also measured enhanced pause(Penh) in AHR from mice. Results and Conclusion : KSE potently inhibited the development of Penh and also reduced the number of eosinophil during OVA-induced AHR. KSE also inhibited cytokines production such as IL-4, IL-5 in BALF. Furthermore, KSE inhibited percentage of eosinophil in BALF. These results suggest that KSE may be beneficial oriental medicine for AHR.

Mobility models are invaluable for determining the performance of routing protocols in opportunistic networks. The movement of nodes has a significant influence on the topological structure and data transmission in networks. In this paper, we propose a new mobility model called the campus-based community mobility model (CBCNM) that closely reflects the daily life pattern of students on a real campus. Consequent on a discovery that the pause time of nodes in their community follows a power law distribution, instead of a classical exponential distribution, we abstract the semi-Markov model from the movement of the campus nodes and analyze its rationality. Then, using the semi-Markov algorithm to switch the movement of the nodes between communities, we infer the steady-state probability of node distribution at random time points. We verified the proposed CBCNM via numerical simulations and compared all the parameters with real data in several aspects, including the nodes' contact and inter-contact times. The results obtained indicate that the CBCNM is highly adaptive to an actual campus scenario. Further, the model is shown to have better data transmission network performance than conventional models under various routing strategies.

This paper deals with the nature and function of intensification in Korean in a wider scope of intensification which was not paid proper attention including intensification in the initial position as well as middle position. Unobserved new areas of intensification in the initial position are paid more attention like sound split of polysemy e.g. (s'eda), (kyongk'i) by means of intensification and north Korean application of intensification on (wonsu) and intensification of borrowed English. The recent phenomenon of ‘gwua’ intensification is experimented on two groups of people, young students and old people beyond 65 years old by means of sociolinguistic analysis. The result shows that its intensification is a form of student violent power and a mark of extreme solidarity among activist students. Thirty three university students(male 16, female 17) are asked to explained to write the meanings(feelings or when to use, etc.) of the words which have normal form and intensified forms. The results show intensification attaches the meaning of ‘emphasis,’ to bring the extremely polarized emotion: samll to the smallest, exact to the perfect exactness, bad to the worst feeling. Four words are being split to express different meaning with the word intensified. In conclusion, the nature of so called saisiot(t) e.g. intensification is voiceless tensed pause and its functions are the polarization of the original meaning of the word, sound split of polysemy and attachment of social values by intensification.

Induction of non-diapause eggs and manifestation of quantitative characters were studied in different seasons by low temperature incubation of eggs of a low yielding diapause with coloured cocoons silkworm breed, RDI of Bombyx mori. Hundred percent of nandiapause eggs were induced when the egg incubation was carried out at 15$^{\circ}C$ followed by incubation initially at $25^{\circ}C$ and then at $15^{\circ}C$. The diapause-nondia-pause relation was found to be reversible. Analysis of variance study demonstrated significant variation in all the quantitative characters whereas significant variation due to different incubation treatments was observed for larval span, fifth instar larval span, cocoon yield/10,000 larvae by weight, cocoon weight, cocoon shell weight, and cocoon shell ratio. study on hybrid vigour skewed significant heterosis over mid parent value for four economic characters viz., cocoon weight, cocoon shell weight, cocoon shell ratio and filament length in a Fl hybrid between RD1 with diapause eggs and Japanese type bivoltine $NB_{4} D_{2}$.
