This is a case study to analyze the role of technology licensing or transfer office (TLO) as factors of success for the spin-off from government research lab. The case company is a research lab startup, which is a joint venture through technology investment by a government research lab or university in the designated R&D parks and cash investment by the partner company. The case company listed on the stock market in 2015 reaching a market capitalization of US$ 1.2 billion. We confirm the success factors of startups pointed out in many studies: original technology, good understanding of core technology and production technology, technological competitiveness in the market. However, there is an important factor not well discussed in the previous studies, the role of TLO. TLO guided the company ownership, management, technology, and solved problems that pause business itself. The case became the sample of research lab startup and technology investment in Korea.

Micro-EDM is generally used far machining micro holes, pockets, and 3-D structures. For micro-EDM, first of all, micro-electrode fabrication is needed and WEDC system is proposed for tool electrode fabrication method. When tool electrode is fabricated using WEDG system, its characteristics are under the control of many EDM parameters. Also relations between the parameters affect electrode fabrication. In this study, experiments are carried out to analyze effects of EDM parameters about electrode surface integrity on micro-electrode fabrication. Experimental method and analysis are used to experimental design method. Factors used in experiments are composed of capacitance, resistance, pause time, wire feed rate, spindle rotating speed. As a result of experiments, capacitance and resistance affect electrode surface.

We are going to design the Square Pulse Generator use of PCPS (Photo-Conductive Power Switch) for Blumlein lain. The circeuit is made of LC device and it is simulated by Schematics Evaluation Version 8.0 of MicroSim. After charged by DC voltage 15[kV]. When the switch is ON, Square pulse is generated after pause time 1.7857[${\mu}s$]. The square pulse is maximum peak voltage 13.987[kV], pulsed width 3.4017[${\mu}s$], rising time 0.7474[${\mu}s$], falling time 1.1718[${\mu}s$].

The association of replication origins/termini with nuclear matrix during S phase was investigated by DNase digestion of halo structures in synchronized mouse LPI-1 cells. The binding of parental DNA to nuclear matrix was constant throughout S phase. When nuclear matrix was isolated from the cells pulse-labeled with 3H-thvmidine at various stases of S phase, total 3H-labels associated with nuclear matrix were specifically higher at So, Sa and Ss stages than other stases of S phase, suggesting that the newly synthesized DNAs at those stages are not excluded out of nuclear matrix. Similar patterns were obsenred from the pulse-chase experiments, in which cells were pulse-labeled at each stage of S phase and further incubated for 1 hr. These results suggest that the replication origins and termini are fixed at the nuclear matrix, and that the nuclear matrix binding fractions of DNA at 3C-pause may contain a large population of replication origins and termination sites.

This paper deals with the nature and function of intensification in Korean in a wider scope of context which was not paid proper attention. Unobserved new areas of intensification are paid more attention like sound split of polysemy e.g. [s'eda], [kyongk'i] by n of intensification and north Korean application of intensification on [wonsu] and intensification of borrowed English. The recent phenomenon of 'gwua' intensification is experimented on two groups of people, young students and old people beyond 65 years old by means of sociolinguistic analysis. The result shows that its intensification is a form of student violent power and a mark of extreme solidarity among activist students. In conclusion, the nature of so called saisiot[t] e.g. intensification is voiceless tensed pause and its functions are the polarization of the original meaning of the word, sound split of polysemy and attachment of social values by intensification.

Most female Great Tits lay one egg each day until the clutch is complete. However, some exceptions are found. “Pause day/s” most frequently occur after the 1st egg is laid. In general, egg-size increase with laying sequence, but there is year-to-year variation. The relationship between egg size and laying sequence is found more significantly in relatively larger clutches than in smaller ones. Great Tits tend to advance the hatching of their chicks by starting to incubate earlier in relation to clutch completion as the breeding season progresses. hatching asynchrony affects chick´s growth rate, but when the effect of laying date on hatching asynchrony is controlled, the effect of hatching asynchrony on growth rate is not found. These findings support the ´hurry-up´ hypothesis.

본 논문에서 구현한 MPEG-4 미디어 재생기는 네트워크를 통하여 스트리밍 서버에 메시지를 전송하고, 스트리밍 서버로부터 전송된 미디어 스트림을 처리하여 사용자의 화면에 보여주는 역할을 수행한다. 미디어 재생기는 서버에게 VCR(Play, Pause, Stop, Jump)이벤트를 전송하며, 리눅스 운영체제에서 동작한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 미디어 재생기는 VCR 연산을 위한 RTSP(Real Time Streaming Protocol)를 지원하며 데이터의 실시간 전송을 위하여 RTP(Real-time Transport Protocol)／RTCP(real-time transport control protocol)를 지원한다. RTP/RTCP를 통하여 네트워크 QoS와 관련된 정보를 획득하며 그 정보에 따라서 데이터 전송율을 조절하고 RTCP를 이용하여 에러 패킷에 대한 재전송을 사용한다. 재전송시 미디어 재생기의 버퍼링 상태와 멀티미디어 데이터의 재생시간을 고려하여 멀티미디어 데이터의 끊김이 없도록 한다.

In this paper, a feature parameter is obtained by applying the Teager energy to the WPD(Wavelet Packet Decomposition) coefficients. The threshold value is obtained based on means and standard deviations of nonspeech frames. Experimental results by using TIMIT speech and NOISEX-92 noise databases show that the proposed algorithm is superior to the typical VAD algorithm. The ROC(Receiver Operating Characteristics) curves are used to compare performance of VAD's for SNR values of ranging from 10 to -10 dB.

상대방에게 의사를 전달할 때 보다 정확하게 자신의 의도를 표현하려면 대화의 흐름에 맞는 적절한 억양을 주어 발화해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 결합범주문법을 이용하여 문장을 분석하고 문장 내 정보와 문장 간 정보 즉, 문맥에 따라 강세(pitch accent), 휴지(pause), 강조 등의 억양정보를 어떻게 나타내야 하는지를 분석하여 문장의 정보구조에 추가하는 방법을 제시한다.

MAC RX FIFO은 10Gbps전용 전송속도에서 제공하는 FIFO모듈이다. 10Gbps이상의 전송속도에서는 전송부, 수신부모두 양방향 전송신가능한 Full Duplex(전이중)방식을 사용한다. 기존 FIFO의 임시 버퍼기능 뿐만 아니라 프레임 흐름 컨트롤 블록을 적용하여 전송간의 프레임 흐름제어 기능을 수행한다. 하위계층에서 MAC으로부터 전송되는 데이터는 64비트와 데이터 유효 정보를 가진 8비트 데이터 유효 정보비트를 가진다. 이렇게 전송되는 데이터는 MAC RX FIFO에 프레임단위로 저장되어 프레임간의 구분정보 Codeword프레임을 확인하여 새프레임 데이터를 확인한다. 사용자계층에는 데이터 128비트와 유효 정보비트 16비트로 사용자계층에 전송한다. 본 논문에서는 10G 전송속도을 갖는 MAC RX FIFO을 설계한다. VHDL언어를 사용하였고 ModelSim5.6a로 시뮬레이션하여 파형분석과 타이밍 분석하여 정상적인 동작을 확인한다. MAC RX FIFO는 10Gbps전송속도에서 요구되어지는 모듈에서 Flow Control, Pause프레임기능을 갖는 모듈에 적용되어 사용가능 할 것으로 사료된다.
