Image processings using the two-dimensional wavelet transform (2DWT) have been a very active research area in recent years because the 2DWT possess many good properties. However, the discrete 2DWT can not be used for pattern recognition directly because it does not have the translation property. In this paper, we show why conventional discrete two-dimensional wavelet transforms cannot be used for pattern recognitions directly. Then, we propose a new method that makes it possible to use discrete 2DWT to pattern recognition without modification of standard pyramidal algorithms. The main idea of our method is to postprocess the wavelet transformed images using the second-order neural network. To justify the validity of the method, evaluations with test images were performed. The effectiveness of the method can be shown by the evaluation results.

Most people in our society use credit card instead of cash or check, so credit card is very important economic method. Credit card supposed to be safe, but hackers hack credit card for illegal deal. Also hackers make fake credit card and issue fake credit card to other people. In this thesis it will study and analyze damage case for safe credit card deal. It will use safe credit card system to insert variety of information and data of using pattern in artificial intelligence network, so print out the possibility of risk and monitor the risk of credit card user's deal pattern, so if one of user's pattern is different than normal pattern, it will pop up message in consultant's screen. This thesis will study and suggest way of prevent from illegal deal and user friendly credit card checking system.
Surface texturing of tribological applications is an attractive technology of engineered surface. Therefore, reduction of friction is considered to be necessary for improved efficiency of machines. The current study investigated the potential of textured micro-scale grooves on bearing steel flat mated with pin-on-disk. We discuss reducing friction due to the influence of sliding direction at surface pattern. We can indicate lubrication mechanism as a Stribeck curve, which has a relationship between the friction coefficient and a dimensionless parameter for the lubrication condition. It was found that the friction coefficient was changed by the surface pattern and sliding direction, even when surface pattern was the same. It was thus verified that micro-scale grooves could affect the friction reduction considerably under mixed and hydrodynamic lubrication conditions. The lubrication regime influences the friction coefficient induced by the sliding direction of groove pattern. The friction coefficient depends on a combination of resistance force and hydrodynamic.

The drafting method for constructing basic brassiere patterns for 75A was completed by selecting a total of 11subjects, and two wearing tests were carried out with the subjects. the dimensions and shapes of the basic brassiere pattern suggested in this research proved to be fitting and to have a wearing effect that brings together and supports the breasts.
In this paper, the peak detection algorithm was developed for the purpose of screening of the target compounds. Algorithm is divided into searching the characteristic ion and peak detection. The heuristic knowledge about analytical chemistry was applied for the searching the characteristic ion. Peak detection was accomplished in comparison with the peak identification strings and pattern strings around the retention time. Pattern strings are composed with the number which generated by pattern identification function. The variables of pattern identification function are the codes which represent the difference of two adjacent abundances Some of the free steroids were selected to demonstrate the proposed algorithm.
As the demand for mechatronic systems and high performance increases in the machinery industry, the importance of improving friction characteristics is emphasized. During relative movement of objects, friction and wear occur on two surfaces in contact, and various methods are being designed to increase the lifespan and energy efficiency of machines. The energy increase effect using lubricants is a well-known method. In this study, a micro-sized rectangular grid pattern was produced by applying a precise micro-pattern photo lithography process. Rectangular grid patterns of the same shape and friction behavior according to the size of the pattern were produced in convex and concave shapes, and the tribological characteristics of each were analyzed.

Data mining techniques have been suggested to find efficiently meaningful and useful information. Especially, in the big data environments, as data becomes accumulated in several applications, related pattern mining methods have been proposed. Recently, instead of analyzing not only static data stored already in files or databases, mining dynamic data incrementally generated in a real time is considered as more interesting research areas because these dynamic data can be only one time read. With this reason, researches of how these dynamic data are mined efficiently have been studied. Moreover, approaches of mining representative patterns such as maximal pattern mining have been proposed since a huge number of result patterns as mining results are generated. As another issue, to discover more meaningful patterns in real world, weights of items in weighted pattern mining have been used, In real situation, profits, costs, and so on of items can be utilized as weights. In this paper, we analyzed weighted maximal pattern mining approaches for data generated incrementally. Maximal representative pattern mining techniques, and incremental pattern mining methods. And then, the application scenarios for analyzing the required commodity patterns in infants are presented by applying weighting representative pattern mining. Furthermore, the performance of state-of-the-art algorithms have been evaluated. As a result, we show that incremental weighted maximal pattern mining technique has better performance than incremental weighted pattern mining and weighted maximal pattern mining.
Sequential pattern mining aims to discover interesting sequential patterns in a sequence database, and it is one of the essential data mining tasks widely used in various application fields such as Web access pattern analysis, customer purchase pattern analysis, and DNA sequence analysis. In general sequential pattern mining, only the generation order of data element in a sequence is considered, so that it can easily find simple sequential patterns, but has a limit to find more interesting sequential patterns being widely used in real world applications. One of the essential research topics to compensate the limit is a topic of weighted sequential pattern mining. In weighted sequential pattern mining, not only the generation order of data element but also its weight is considered to get more interesting sequential patterns. In recent, data has been increasingly taking the form of continuous data streams rather than finite stored data sets in various application fields, the database research community has begun focusing its attention on processing over data streams. The data stream is a massive unbounded sequence of data elements continuously generated at a rapid rate. In data stream processing, each data element should be examined at most once to analyze the data stream, and the memory usage for data stream analysis should be restricted finitely although new data elements are continuously generated in a data stream. Moreover, newly generated data elements should be processed as fast as possible to produce the up-to-date analysis result of a data stream, so that it can be instantly utilized upon request. To satisfy these requirements, data stream processing sacrifices the correctness of its analysis result by allowing some error. Considering the changes in the form of data generated in real world application fields, many researches have been actively performed to find various kinds of knowledge embedded in data streams. They mainly focus on efficient mining of frequent itemsets and sequential patterns over data streams, which have been proven to be useful in conventional data mining for a finite data set. In addition, mining algorithms have also been proposed to efficiently reflect the changes of data streams over time into their mining results. However, they have been targeting on finding naively interesting patterns such as frequent patterns and simple sequential patterns, which are found intuitively, taking no interest in mining novel interesting patterns that express the characteristics of target data streams better. Therefore, it can be a valuable research topic in the field of mining data streams to define novel interesting patterns and develop a mining method finding the novel patterns, which will be effectively used to analyze recent data streams. This paper proposes a gap-based weighting approach for a sequential pattern and amining method of weighted sequential patterns over sequence data streams via the weighting approach. A gap-based weight of a sequential pattern can be computed from the gaps of data elements in the sequential pattern without any pre-defined weight information. That is, in the approach, the gaps of data elements in each sequential pattern as well as their generation orders are used to get the weight of the sequential pattern, therefore it can help to get more interesting and useful sequential patterns. Recently most of computer application fields generate data as a form of data streams rather than a finite data set. Considering the change of data, the proposed method is mainly focus on sequence data streams.
The present study was conducted to examine the effect of a stair-stepped feed intake pattern on growth, feed efficiency, and meat quality of Hanwoo steers. Twenty-seven 11-month-old Hanwoo steers were randomly divided into three groups. The control group was fed according to the Korean steer feeding program, and the other two groups were fed according to an alternated feeding schedule of 3-2-4-2 months. During the first three months of the experiment, treatment group 1 (T1) and treatment group 2 (T2) were fed 20% and 30% less than the control group, respectively. For the following two months, the T1 group was fed 20% more than the control group while the T2 group was fed 20% less than the control group. In the third step, T1 and T2 groups were fed 20% and 10% less, respectively, than the control group for four months. In the last two months, T1 and T2 groups were fed 20% more than the control group. After the stair-step feeding trial, steers were fed concentrated feed ad libitum for five months. The altered feed intake pattern did not affect daily body weight gain. However, daily feed intake tended to decrease and growth efficiency tended to increase in the two treatment groups compared to the control group. Altered feed intake also affected blood metabolite levels. The serum glucose and BUN level of the T1 group increased in the first re-fed period compared to the T2 and control groups. The serum cholesterol level of the T2 group decreased in the first restricted-re-fed growth period compared to the T1 and control groups. The serum NEFA levels of the two treatment groups increased from the first restricted period compared to the controls. The serum insulin level of the T2 group increased in the last period compared to the T1 and control groups. Regarding meat yield index, the control group was significantly higher than the T2 group (p<0.05). Regarding meat yield grade, the carcass back fat thickness of the T2 group was significantly higher than the control group (p<0.05). In marbling score, the T1 group was the highest (4.9), followed by the control group (4.1) and the T2 group (4.0). These results indicate that using a stair-stepped growth pattern (T1) can contribute to improvements in growth efficiency and muscle marbling.
