자율주행은 4차 산업혁명을 이끄는 주요 기술이다. 최근 자율주행 기술의 진보와 규제완화로 인해 레벨 3 이상의 자율주행자동차 상용화가 본격화될 전망이다. 본 연구는 자율주행 분야의 특허 분석을 통해 기술의 경쟁력을 평가해 보고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 2021년 7월까지의 출원 공개 및 등록된 한국, 미국, 일본 및 유럽의 특허를 대상으로 특허 동향을 분석하고, 특허지표 분석을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 자율주행 기술에 대한 경쟁력을 갖추기 위해 집중해야 할 세부 기술을 파악하고 한국의 국가 경쟁력을 진단하고자 한다.

Zinc Sulfide (ZnS) is one of the II-VI semiconducting materials, having novel fundamental properties and diverse areas of application such as light-emitting diodes (LEDs), electroluminescence, flat panel displays, infrared windows, catalyst, chemical sensors, biosensors, lasers and biodevices, etc. However, despite the remarkable versatility and prospective potential of ZnS, research and development (R&D) into its applications has not been performed in much detail relative to research into other inorganic semiconductors. In this study, based on global patent information, we analyzed recent technical trends and the current status of R&D into ZnS applications. Furthermore, we provided new technical insight into ZnS applicable fields using in-depth analysis. Especially, this report suggests that ZnS, due to its infrared-transmitting optical property, is a promising material in astronomy and military fields for lenses of infrared systems. The patent information analysis in this report will be utilized in the process of identifying the current positioning of technology and the direction of future R&D.

오늘날 기술은 산업융합을 통해 패러다임이 바뀌고 있으며 정부와 기업들은 기술의 흐름 및 방향을 예측할 필요가 있다. 이러한 기술 흐름 및 방향은 특허 정보 분석을 통해 파악할 수 있다. 특허정보는 전 세계적으로 공통된 분류코드를 사용하고 있으며, 기술적 영역 시간 정보와 함께 객관적 데이터를 기반으로 정량적인 분석이 가능하다. 특허 분석 방법은 인용분석, 동시분류분석 방법을 사용하여 기술융합성 분석을 하였다. 본 연구에서는 지식기반 사회에서 기술혁신을 측정하기 위한 지표로서 활용되는 특허정보를 분석하여 대표적인 융 복합 산업인 항공산업을 중심으로 기술 트랜드 분석 및 향후 발전 방향에 대해 기술하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to set a direction for the development of men's underwear after analyzing current applications for patent regarding men's special-purpose underwear. In terms of a research method, the disclosed patents and utility models were investigated using the patent information database provided by Korea Institute of Patent Information (KIPRIS, http://www.kipris.or.kr). For this, the patents applied from 1990 to October 2015 were targeted. The keywords used for patent search were 'men's underwear' and 'men's special-purpose underwear.' When searched by the keywords above, a total of 1,089 cases were found. Except for expired or cancelled ones, 243 cases were investigated. Then, annual application trends, current registrations on literature records, classification of utility model right holders and contents by topic were analyzed. In terms of data analysis, frequency analysis, crosstabulation analysis and multiple response analysis were conducted, using SPSS 18.0. The results found the followings: In terms of annual application trends, the number of applications for patent started to gradually increase since 2007. Since 2011, it has rapidly increased. In terms of the number of patent registrations, literature registration was far higher than utility model registration. In terms of application rights, 'individually registered (58.8%)' was higher than 'registered by the organization (41.2%).' Among 243 cases, 'underwear (58%)' was the highest, followed by 'men's underwear-related items (29.2%)' and 'thermals (8.2%).' According to analysis on the details of the patent applied for men's underwear, 'penis-scrotum separation' was most focused, followed by 'disposable product' 'airy features,' 'scrotum protection' and 'structure of underwear.'

세계의 경제가 지식 기반 경제로 급변함에 따라 특허경쟁력을 강화하기 위한 노력을 다각적으로 실시하고 있다. 이러한 특허경쟁력을 강화하기 위해 일반적으로 해당 기술 분야에 대한 특허동향조사를 통해 다양한 분석을 하고 있지만 대부분 현재까지의 기술동향에 대한 자료를 통계적으로 표현하거나 핵심 기술에 대한 전문가의 정성분석을 포함하는 정도에 국한되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 제한적으로 활용되고 있는 특허정보를 이용하여 향후 기술 확산 형태를 예측해 보고자 한다. 이를 위해 일반적으로 많이 사용되고 있는 확산모형인 Bass 모형과 Logistic 모형을 통해 실험을 진행하였고, 각 모형의 성능을 평가하기 위해 MSE값과 MAPE값을 이용하였다. 입력데이터로는 NCW 정보보호기술과 관련된 특허데이터를 사용함으로써 기존 특허동향조사와 연계한 심화분석을 도출하였다. 실험결과 NCW 정보보호기술에 대한 확산을 예측하기 위한 모형은 Logistic 모형이 더 우수함을 알 수 있었으며, NCW 정보보호기술은 2008년 현재 점차 기술 성숙기에 접어들고 있음을 예측할 수 있었다.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to analyze for the patent application tendency in Korean Oriental Pediatric Medicine. Recently, many studies are published in Korean Oriental Pediatric Medicine. However, in the patent area, the research results are few. Method : For patent analysis, we searched the database kipris (http://www.kipris.or.kr) which managed in the Korean Intellectual Property Office by keywords about Korean Oriental Pediatrics. They are technically analysed by year and IPC, patent's contents, main applicant and organization. Results : 1. Patents by year have been on the rise 2 in 1997 to 32 in 2011. 2. Our findings are Section A61;182, A23;46 in IPC analysis 3. In classification of content, 'application-food' is 67 cases, 'application-functional cosmetic' is 18 cases, 'application-clothes' is 5 cases. 4. Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine have 14 patent cases, that is the most patent agency in possession. Main applicants are person > company > university > laboratory > state or local government. Conclusion : This study shows that it has high frequency of daily necessity in patent cases about oriental pediatrics. The results are more distributed 'applied' field than 'treatment' field. The patent information should be connected research achievement results in Korean Oriental Medicine.

최근 특허기술의 가치평가가 크게 강조되고 있으며, 그 평가의 수단으로 특허의 피인용횟수가 매우 유용한 척도 중의 하나로 받아들여지고 있다. 그에 따라 이 연구에서는 특허의 피인용횟수와 이에 영향을 미칠만한 형태적 기술적 개념적 요인의 17개 변수들 간의 상관관계를 미국특허를 대상으로 5개 주제분야에 걸쳐 분석하였다. 분석결과 특허의 피인용횟수와 일정 수준 이상의 상관관계, 즉 5% 이상의 설명력을 갖는 변수는 페이지 수, 청구항 수, 참고문헌 평균 피인용횟수, 기술분야 특허증감율, 서지결합도, 동시인용도 및 문헌간유사도 등 7개로 나타났다. 또한 이들 변수에 대한 분산분석 결과 7개 변수 모두 전반적으로 대부분의 주제분야 간에 있어서 평균값의 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구에서는 특허분석을 실시하여 빅데이터 분야의 기술 경쟁력을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 미국의 특허 활동이 가장 활발하며, 최근 들어 특허 출원 및 등록 특허수가 크게 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 미국의 특허 활동은 양적 측면에 치우쳐 있는 것으로 판단되는데, 왕성한 특허활동에도 불구하고 인용도 및 영향력지수는 오히려 하락한 것으로 나타났기 때문이다. 한국은 일본, 중국, 캐나다 등과 더불어 비교적 활발한 특허활동을 전개 중이나, 미국과 마찬가지로 양적 측면에 치우쳐 있어 향후 양질의 기술 확보를 위한 노력을 기울여야 할 것으로 사료된다.

정부의 입장에서 R&D 과제간의 유사도를 분석하는 것은 불필요한 예산의 낭비를 없애고, R&D 투자의 효과를 높이는데 있어서 매우 중요한 문제이다. 그 동안, 문서의 내용을 대표하는 키워드를 중심으로 두 문서간의 유사도를 분석하거나, 문장 단위로 유사도를 분석함으로써, R&D 과제의 중복 여부를 판단하기 위한 연구들이 시도되어 왔으나, 여러 가지 이유로 아직까지 그 정확도는 매우 낮은 실정이다. 이에, 본 연구는 기 수행된 R&D 관련 특허를 조사, 수집하는 정부 R&D 특허기술동향조사사업의 특허분석 DB를 활용하여 R&D 과제간의 유사도를 분석할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해, 집합 이론 및 확률 이론을 기반으로 한 유사도 측정 모델을 제시하였다. 또한, 제시한 모델의 검증을 위해 156개 과제, 160,218개의 유효특허를 기반으로 유효특허기반 과제 유사도 측정 실험을 수행하고, 그 사례를 제시하였다.
