  • Electro sensitive traffic system can't consider passenger car unit, so, it causes start up delay time and passenger waiting time. In this paper, it antecedently creates optimal traffic cycle of passenger car unit at the bottom traffic intersection. But, sometimes it can make mistakes due to changes in car weight, car speed, and control of feed-back data. Moreover, to prevent spillback, it can adapt control even though upper traffic intersection has a different saturation rate, road length, road slope and road width.

  • Active noise control(ANC) requires the full capability of a modern digital signal processing module. This paper describes the digital signal processing unit which is designed for ANC of noise fields in passenger car. System hardware is designed to allow software controlled versatility as well as fully qutomatic operation. The developed system is provided with the ability to be self-operated except the case of upload/download of data and program between the personal computer and the system memory. Experimental results are presented to demonstrate ANC performance of noise fields in lightly damped enclosure and passenger car.

In this paper, it antecedently creates passenger car unit at the bottom intersection using neural network. But, sometimes it can make mistakes due to changes in car weight, car speed, and passing area. Therefore, it consequently reduces the car waiting time and start-up delay time using fuzzy control of feed-back data. • There has been a recent upsurge in demand for the improvement of car reliability in the Northern American which is the primary market of South Korea automobile industry. It has been required that the warranty for transmission control unit for passenger cars directly related to passenger safety or security should be extended for 10 years and 160,000 km. In this paper, the test method for reliability and evaluation criteria is presented to evaluate the reliability on the automatic transmission controller. Reliability certification test can be roughly divided into two types: a quality test and life assessment test and a quality test can be subdivided into a basic performance test and environmental resistance test. There are 3 types of tests on the performance test for automatic transmission controller and environmental resistance test is composed of 14 items. Life test is performed with only the product passed this quality test. In this study, operation limit test at the high-temperatures, accelerated life test under specific temperature and accelerated life test for 2 or 3 stress levels are shown as a way for life test.

  • The paper aims at examining the behavioral characteristics of the passenger car export of Gunsan, Pyeongtaek, and Ulsan port. This is accomplished by modelling export demand as exchange rate and the Unites States industrial production. All series span the period January 2001 to December 2010. I first show that both the series and the residuals are stationary at the 5 percent significance level. The result cannot reject the null hypothesis of a unit root in each of the level variables and of a unit root for the residuals from the cointegration regression at the 5 percent significance level. I hitherto make use of forecast error decomposition and historical decompositions The forecast error decomposition indicates that car export is endogenous to industrial production and exchange rate. The historical decompositions for the export show that the entire difference between actual export and the base forecast can be attributed to industrial production shocks since exchange rate moves closer to the actual data or the base forecast. It indicates that industrial production outperforms exchange rate in explaining the passenger car exports.

  • To predict the fire and smoke hazards of rail car with a evacuation model is essential for achieving life safety of all passengers in the event of fire. Currently, more than 30 different evacuation models are available and expected increasing demand in high population density areas as a metro train station. This paper includes brief history of evacuation models and review some key factors of design egress scenario, these are pre-movement time, egress route, location of fire, overturned carriage, and configuration of rail car. Applying the egress model for rail passenger car, users need to confirm the model's ability of physiological, psychological responses effecting to pre-movement time of individual or crowd unit, representation of complexity of carriage layout, and evaluation of effects of smoke.

  • In this paper, we present our analysis of tribological failure examples for an anti-lock brake system(ABS) in a car. The study range of this paper is to improve the quality of ABS system by analyzing with sensor, computer, actuator and oil lines. In the first example, the brake leak from hydraulic supply line in a caliper on the rear left side of the ABS hydraulic modulator. This produces the sponge phenomenon, where the car does not brake even when the driver operates the brake pedal. The hydraulic unit operating ABS is actuator that play role regulating drive condition according with the oil pressure supplied with wheel of a car. In the second example, the service man does not completely tighten the fixed bolt after repairing the car. This causes the ABS warning lamp to light up as the ABS wheel speed sensor cannot detect whether the ABS has been activated. In the third example, the ABS electronic control unit is separated from the soldered part of the inner circuit board. Consequently, the ABS fails in control because the ABS motor pump receives no-signal for the hydraulic unit. The wheel speed sensor has to large durability because of giving signal of acting condition to computer by detected the acceleration and deceleration of wheel of a car. In the fourth example, the ABS warning lamp lights up of when cracks propagate in the circuit board soldering part. The circuit of this computer is very important part for input and output the operating signal of system. Such failures can aggravate the durability of the ABS. Thus, the ABS needs to be optimized to eliminate malfunction phenomenon.

  • Spot-welding is widely used to construct passenger car bodies in automotive industry. Occasionally severe spot-weld distortions in sub-assembly make further spot-weld difficult. In this paper, distortions for various spot-weld conditions are measured using coordinate measuring machine. Then, based on finite element solution for unit translation or unit rotation of nugget edge, equivalent loads for spot-weld distortions are determined. They can be used to predict the spot-weld distortion using finite element method.
