가구별 차량보유패턴을 고려한 차량 보유구조 분석 (Analysis on the Car Ownership Structure Considering Household Car Ownership Pattern)

  • 본 연구는 향후 교통수요관리를 위한 기초 자료로 활용하고자 가구별 차량보유패턴 및 보유구조를 분석하였다. 차량등록대수와 가구당 차량보유대수가 증가하는 현시점에 가구별 차량보유실태를 통해 보유패턴에 대해 알아 볼 필요가 있다. 또한 차량 증가 원인에 대해 분석 할 필요가 있을 것이다. 가구통행실태 조사의 결과를 바탕으로 승용차를 보유하고 있는 가구와 승용차 및 비승용차 보유하는 가구로 구분하여 연구를 진행하였고 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 차량보유구조 패턴을 통해 가구당 차량보유대수가 2대 이하인 경우에는 승용차만을 보유하는 가구수가 많았으며 3대 이상의 경우 승용차만 보유하는 가구보다 비승용차와 함께 보유하는 가구 비율이 증가한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 순서형 로짓 모형을 활용하여 가구별 차량 보유구조를 분석한 결과 가구 속성 자료 및 주거형태 변수에 따라 차량보유에 영향을 주는 요인들이 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

다구찌 직교배열을 이용한 승용차의 실내소음 분석 및 개선 (Analysis and Improvement of Interior Noise in a Passenger Car using Taguchi Orthogonal Array)

  • The passenger car manufacturer should meet more and more strict requirements of customers on noise and vibration problems. It is proven that the Taguchi method is a powerful tool for improving the product quality in many areas. This paper employs the Taguchi method to reduce low-frequency booming noise in a passenger car. Selection of object function is very important to minimize interaction effects in the Taguchi method. We select logarithmic-scaled sound pressure level as an object function, which is commonly used to analyze the noise and vibration signals. The optimum noise level predicted with additive-model assumption agrees well with the test results. In addition, the optimum level is lower than the initial one by about 5 dB without any adverse effects. The results show that the Taguchi method can be applied efficiently to solve the noise problem in the passenger cars.

  • The dynamic characteristics during gear ratio change including the disturbance of output torque has been one of the most important issues in the study of automatic transmissions of passenger cars. In this paper, to investigate the dynamic characteristics of a passenger car automatic transmission during gear ratio change, a dynamic model of the driveline of a passenger car focused on the automatic transmission is proposed and the dynamic simulation program is developed. The results of the simulation show good agreements with the experimental data, which process the use fullness of the dynamic model and the simulation of the driveline.

  • This paper describes the launching characteristics of a passenger car using a Push-Belt type Continuously Variable Transmission(CVT) which equipped a wet type multi-plate clutch asa starting device and a solid flywheel with a torsional damper for a torsional coupling device. To reduce the torsional vibration of the drive-line , some torsional coupling devices were used for the passenger car equipped CVT having the clutch as a starting device especially . In this study, we developed the computer simulation program to investigate the launching characteristics of a passenger car equipped CVT using the mathematical models of this system. For the mathematical models of the vehicle, the CVT, the we type multi-plate clutch and the torsional damper, we obtained the specification and the necessary data through the reverse engineering of those. For the verification of our analysis, we performed the test of prototype car with different throttle positions at road and dynamometer. The launching characteristics of a passenger car considered here an acceleration performance and an ascending performance.

구조방정식을 활용한 승용차 보유의향 분석 (Analysis of Willingness to Own Passenger Car Using Structural Equation Model)

  • 본 연구는 승용차이용 및 보유의식 조사를 통하여 승용차 보유의향에 관한 분석을 다루고 있다. 증가하는 차량이용으로 인하여 발생하는 사회적인 문제는 심각한 상태이다. 차량등록대수의 78.9%는 승용차이고 그 중 자가용승용차는 75.3%로 승용차의 대부분을 차지하고 있으므로 차량 이용에 따라 발생하는 사회적인 문제의 주요 원인은 자가용승용차로 볼 수 있다. 이에 승용차 이용목적과 추가적인 보유목적에 대해 알아 볼 필요가 있다. 또한 승용차 이용의식과 현재 보유하고 있는 승용차대수를 분석하여 향후 추가적인 승용차 보유의향에 대해 연구 할 필요가 있다. 따라서 설문조사결과를 바탕으로 연구를 진행하였고 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 현재 대부분의 가구에서는 출퇴근 및 통학용으로 승용차를 보유하고 있고 향후 추가적으로 보유하고자 하는 목적으로는 출퇴근 및 통학과 여가용, 자녀들의 학교 및 학원 통학용으로 나타났다. 구조방정식모형을 활용하여 승용차 이용 및 보유대수에 따른 승용차 보유의향에 대해 분석한 결과 승용차 이용은 운전인식과 이용인식에 정(+)으로, 주차, 교통 혼잡, 환경 등과 같은 사회적인 문제에 부(-)의 영향을 받고 승용차 보유대수는 이용인식에 정(+)으로, 비용적인 측면에서 부(-)의 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 승용차 추가보유의향의 경우 승용차 이용의사에 정(+)으로, 현재 승용차 보유대수에 부(-)의 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 향후 교통수요관리를 위한 기초적인 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이라 판단된다.

세단 승용차량 트렁크용 휠체어 수납 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Wheelchair Storage System Mounted on the Trunk of the Sedan Passenger Car)

  • Wheelchair users experience difficulty when using transportation. This is because wheelchair users must use transportation means together with wheelchairs. Therefore, in this paper, we developed a wheelchair storage system for passenger's car trunk. The mechanism is designed to allow a wheelchair and the device to be housed simultaneously in the narrow space of the trunk of the sedan passenger car. Additionally, this wheelchair storage system has implemented an initial load reduction mechanism that can mechanically reduce the initial load. This wheelchair storage system verified the system's operability through the production of the prototype. This system was actually installed in the trunk of the sedan passenger's car to verify the storage process. The operation and storage process of the wheelchair storage system was been perfectly verified. This wheelchair storage system will help a lot of self-driver or an assistant (female or elderly) who use wheelchairs.

  • Booming sound is one of the most important interior sound of a passenger car. The conventional booming noise research was focused on the reduction of the A-weighted sound pressure level. However A-weighted sound pressure level can not give the whole story about the booming sound of a passenger car. In this paper, we employed sound metric which is the subjective parameter used in psycoacoustics. According to recent research results, the relation between sound metrics and subjective evaluation is very complex and has nonlinear characteristics. In order to estimate this nonlinear relationship, artificial neural network theory has been applied to derivation of sound quality index for booming sound of a passenger car.

  • The nonlinear characteristics of a suspension is directly related to the ride quality of a passenger car. In this study, the nonlinear characteristics of a spring and a damper of a passenger car is analyzed by dynamic experiments using the MTS single-axial testing machine. Also, a mathematical nonlinear dynamic model for the suspension is devised to estimate the ride quality using the K factor. And the effect on the variation of the parameters of the suspension is examined. The results showed that the dynamic viscosity of the oil in a damper was the parameter that most influeced the ride quality of a passenger car for the ride quality of a passenger car.

  • Analyzing acoustic-structural systems such as automobiles and aircraft the FRF-based substructuring method is one of the most powerful tools. In this paper, an optimization procedure far the engine mount system of passenger car has been presented using the design sensitivity analysis based on the multi-domain FRF-based substructuring formulation. The proposed method is applied to an optimization problem of the engine mount system, of which objective is to minimize the interior sound over the concerned rpm range. The design variables selected are the stiffnesses of the engine mounts and bushes. Plugging the gradient information calculated by the proposed method into nonlinear optimization software, we can obtain the optimal stiffnesses of the engine mounts and bushings through design iterations. The optimized interior noise in the passenger car shows that the proposed method is very useful in the realistic situation.
