Purpose: This study aims to estimate the demand for various public parking lots in Seoul by clustering similar demand types of parking lots and predicting the demand for new public parking lots. Methods: We examined real-time parking information data and used time series clustering analysis to cluster public parking lots with similar demand patterns. We also performed various regression analyses of parking demand based on diverse heterogeneous data that affect parking demand and proposed a parking demand prediction model. Results: As a result of cluster analysis, 68 public parking lots in Seoul were clustered into four types with similar demand patterns. We also identified key variables impacting parking demand and obtained a precise model for predicting parking demands. Conclusion: The proposed prediction model can be used to improve the efficiency and publicity of public parking lots in Seoul, and can be used as a basis for constructing new public parking lots that meet the actual demand. Future research could include studies on demand estimation models for each type of parking lot, and studies on the impact of parking lot usage patterns on demand.

As the population of persons and automobiles rapidly grows, parking problems also grow in large cities of Korea. The purpose of this paper is to first grasp the status of parking facilities and characteristics in large cities of Korea; and introduce new directions of CBD parking policies in north America cities: and finally recommend the adequate parking management strategies and tactics for improving parking problems in Korea. For this purpose, field survey for parking inventories, patrol survey for parking usage as observed demand and drive interview survey for parking behavior were conducted. Compared with the parking characteristics and polices of foreign cities, many differences of characteristics were found, and existing parking management policies, which should be improved, were identified. Five categories of parking management strategies were set on; a) Reasonable control of CBD parking demand, b) securing of the public parking facilities c) Promotion of privately operated parking facilities d) expansion of financial resources for parking facilities construction and e) Improvement of existing parking management system. And actural seventeen tactics to attain the above strategies were recommended.

Automobiles and parking lots have greatly been increased by the continuous development of new towns and residential districts. There were not enough parking lots; and although there were off-street parking lots available for sale, they were not easily sold. Through a parking regulation, local governments can require parking spaces for more than a certain rate in developing areas. Despite local governments should require parking spaces within the parking demand and regulation, they did not investigate parking demands. Off-street parking spaces are not easy to sell because they don't consider the parking demand. In this study, we analyzed the factors that affect the parking management in order to increase sales of the off-street parking. The factors were "the characteristics of the parking lots", "the accessibility of the off-street parking", and "the traffic environment around off-street parking." We have derived suggestions for these factors. In addition, this study has derived nine variables affecting the parking operation in these three factors, and suggested a logistic regression model and the influence of each factors. According to the analysis, "parking signs" were the most influential. Next were "land uses" and "lanes on road".

국회주차장은 지속적으로 증가하는 주차수요와 함께 주차장 이용을 무료로 개방하여 상근자들의 장시간 주차, 국회방문 공무원 및 민간차량의 자가용이용 선호, 국회업무이외에 주변 상가나 오피스 이용차량의 국회주차장 무단 점유 등으로 주차시설의 부족현상이 심화되고 있다. 국회내 주차수요와 공급의 불균형으로 국회내부 및 외부 도로상의 불법주차차량으로 국회주차질서는 매우 무질서하다. 본 연구는 국회의사당의 주차실태 및 이용실태조사를 근간으로 단기적으로 유출 입 관리시스템 구축, 중 장기적으로 국회주차장의 유료화 및 관리운영의 민간위탁, 주차장 상한제 폐지를 통한 입체주차장 건설과 지상주차장의 공원화 방안 등 적극적인 주차관리대책을 제시하였다. 새로운 주차관리대책과 병행하여 상근자 및 방문자의 주차수요를 관리하기 위해 요일제와 부제운행의 강화, 셔틀버스노선 및 통근버스 노선의 확대, 둔치주차장의 이용활성화 방안, 다양한 대중교통이용촉진대책의 시행를 제시하였다. 결론적으로 국회 주차문제는 시설공급보다 주차수요를 관리하는 수요관리정책이 더 적합하다.

Prepare need in each branch for a large scale event. especially prepare for transportation problem is very important. most research for until at now parking prepare according city management however, parking prepare for large event is a necessity which it will parking characteristic. accordingly this research is conducted study for parking prepare subject of large event. this study result, vehicle demand for parking by stadium have many but vehicle demand for parking off stadium have few. accordingly large parking supply is ineffective. shuttle bus service in principal position of city is effective. study result showed that it included 85% parking at 6~7hour before large event start time. accordingly disposition time of parking manager is desirable 6~7hour before large event start time.

주차관리 시스템은 주차장에서 주차 정보를 제공하여 운전자에게 주차의 편리성을 제공한다. 동시에 다수의 센서, 디스플레이와 제어모듈을 이용하여 아주 소량의 전기 에너지 만을 소모한다. 친환경 빌딩 설계의 요구가 점차 증가함에 따라 주차관리 시스템의 운용 전력 감축 문제가 이슈화 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 주차관리 시스템의 감지기와 디스플레이 장치의 설계와 소비 전력 감축의 결과를 제시한다. 이 시스템은 무선 Park Tile 과 Park Disk를 사용하여 전력소비를 감축 시키고, 여러 개의 주차 공간 감지기와 자동차 카운터, 정보 디스플레이 장치, 안내 터미널과 제어장치로 구성되어 있다. 그리고 시스템구조 설계와 통신망 설계, 주차 정보 서비스 시나리오 계획, 배터리 수명 제어, 운영전력 평가 등이 수행되었다. 주차장당 운영전력은 0.93KW로 평가 되었으며, 이는 기존 시스템의 20%정도 이고 매년 유지비는 기존 시스템에 비해 18%에 해당된다.

In the beginning of the 21s1 century, the world has been making rapid progress and changed all over the areas. Like the rest, as all domiciliary circumstances for a local development have changed, the continuous development considered environmental view has been accounted as much compared with the high growth-oriented development based on the efficiency so far. As the volume of traffic in urban community increases, the environmental load enlarges inevitably. Particularly, the excess and deficiency problems for all sorts of traffic facilities, like the shortage of parking lots continue to happen in proportion to the increase in traffic. For a design to solve these problems, introduction of the Geographic Information System; GIS applied widely over various fields become necessary. In this research, the supply-demand situation in urban areas is observed. The application of GIS for the purpose of the improvement of parking lot management technique to control effectively facilities related to parking lot in the city brings promoting the efficiency of business data inquiry, data management data correction and so on through graphic and non-graphic database for every kind of draft data, record and register data. The graphic users interface to support effective decision-making is applied for the improvement of work in this study. This research also suggests the way to utilize common database considered linkage with sub-systems related existing urban information system by developing the parking lot management system.

공동주택 입주자들의 자동차 보유율의 급증으로 인한 공동주택 단지에서의 주차란에 대하여 정부에서는 그간 주차장 공급강화 정책으로 일관하였다. 하지만 주차장 공급강화는 기존 공동주택에서의 주차란 완화보다는 신규 공동주택 주차장 공급에 치중되어 있으며, 일률적 공급규정은 다양한 개발여건에서의 주차 수요에 대처하기에는 한계가 있고, 공동주택 단지의 녹지 면적 감소를 초래하고 있다. 또한 차량을 보유치 않은 입주자와 차량을 2대 이상을 보유한 입주자들과의 주차장 사용 형평상에 문제가 제기되고 있으며 지하 주차장 건설에 따른 주택원가 상승의 가장 큰 요인으로 작용하여 저소득층의 주택구매에 큰 걸림돌이 되고 있다. 본 연구는 국내·외 공동주택 단지에서의 다양한 주차장 공급 및 수요관리방안 분석을 통하여 다가오는 21세기의 국내 공동주택 주차장 정책 방향을 제시에 목적이 있다. 연구결과 전국의 공동주택에서는 도시규모, 주택평형, 단지규모, 준공년도 변화에 차이 없이 다양한 주차공급방식 도입, 주차전용제 실시, 1가구 2차량 주차 이용료부과, 단지내 주차장 증 가 및 단지주변 민영·공영주차장 활성화 외부차량 불법주차단속 강화를 통하여 현재의 공동주택 주차란에 대처하기를 원하고 있다. 특히 주차란이 매우 심각한 중형 및 소형 공동주택과 중소도시 소재 공동주택에서는 대도시 소재 공동주택 및 대형 공동주택보다 지자체에 의한 다양한 주차장 공급방식 적용과 철저한 불법주차단속을 통하여 현재의 주차란에 대처하기를 적극적으로 원하고 있어 주택규모 및 도시규모 변화에 따른 차별적 공동주택 주차장 공급 및 관리방안시행이 요망된다.

본 연구의 목적은 첫째, 주차 수급율 분석을 통한 제주지역의 공간구조를 분석하고, 둘째, 주차서비스의 지역간 불균형 정도를 파악하고자 하는 것에 있다. 셋째, 이러한 공간구조상의 주차수요서비스의 불균형 원인을 해석하고 대안을 제시하는 것에 목적이 있다. 제주지역은 급격한 인구 증가 및 관광객 증가로 인하여 교통체증 및 심각한 주차문제를 겪고 있다. 이러한 주차환경 악화는 차량을 이용하는 이용자의 불편과 보행자의 안전을 위협하는 사회적 문제도 이해되고 있다. 이를 위해 제주지역 주차실태조사 자료를 기준으로 공간구조 분석을 통해 만성적인 주차문제 해결을 위해 기존의 주차공간을 효율적으로 활용하기 위한 방안을 도출하였다. 단기 정책으로 읍·면단위 소규모 블록단위 전환, 주차공유제, 이면도로 주택가 정비 등이다. 중단기 정책으로 타 교통수단과 연계한 정책이다. 이는 대중교통 노선개편, 대중교통시설확충을 통한 대중교통 분담율 향상을 통한 주차수요관리 정책, 외곽환승주차장 확보, 시간대별 주차요금 차등화 등을 제시할 수 있었다. 이러한 정책을 시행하기 위해서는 공공분야, 민간분야, 민·관 공동분야의 각각의 분야별 주체별 공감대 형성이 필요할 것이다.

도시화와 자동차 수요의 증가로 인해 도시 주차 문제가 심각한 사회적 문제로 대두되고 있다. 이에 따라 주차장 상황을 파악하고 운전자에게 효율적인 주차 정보를 제공하기 위해 주차장의 입출차 데이터를 활용한 연구를 진행하였다. 본 논문은 공공데이터 기반 입출차 데이터를 전처리하여 주차시간을 추출하고, 최빈값을 활용하여 예상 출차시간을 제공함으로써 운전자가 주차하고자 하는 시간에 차량이 빠져나갈 것을 파악할 수 있었다. 향후 연구에서는 실시간 주차 관제시스템을 이용하여 현재의 시스템을 개선하고, 주차 공간 파악의 정확성과 효율성을 향상시키려고 한다.
