주차장 및 교량지역의 강우유출수내 비점오염물질의 특성 비교 및 동적 EMCs (Characteristics of Washed-off Pollutants and Dynamic EMCs in a Parking Lot and a Bridge during Storms)

  • Since the water quality of drinking water sources has been recognized as a big issue, the ministry of Environment in Korea is designing the total maximum daily load (TMDL) program for 4 major large rivers. The TMDL program can be successfully performed as controling the nonpoint pollutants from watershed area near the river. Of the various landuses in nonpoint pollution, parking lots and bridges are stormwater intensive landuses because of high imperviousness and high pollutant mass emissions from vehicular activities. Vehicle emissions from those areas include different pollutants such as heavy metals, oil and grease and particulates from sources such as fuels, brake pad and tire wear, etc. Especially the pollutant washed-off from the landuses are directly affecting to the river water quality. Therefore this research was conducted to understand the magnitude and nature of the stormwater emissions with the goal of quantifying stormwater pollutant concentrations and mass emission rates of pollutants from parking lot and bridges in Korea. In Kongju city areas, two monitoring sites were equipped with an automatic rainfall gages and an automatic flow meter for accumulating the useful data such as rainfall, water quality and runoff flow. This manuscripts will show the concentration changes during storm duration and EMCs to characterize the concentration profiles in different land uses. Also the first flush criteria will be suggested using dynamic EMCs. The definition of dynamic EMC is a new approach explaining the relationship of EMC and first flush effect.

DEVELOPMENT OF BUILDING INFORMATION MODEL FOR RESOURCES OPTIMIZATION IN CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

  • The aim of the study is to develop the 3D visualization of Building Information Model and integrated 4D model for optimization of resources in the construction project. This study discuss the process of methodology and creation of 4D model of the project and simulate it to monitor the workflow at the site. Different stages of the construction process and activities are generated by using Revit and MS Project. MS project has been used for creation of the schedules and these are linked with the Revit for 3D modeling. The time used as the fourth dimension and 4D model created by using Navisworks Time liner software. Narges shopping center is presented as a case study to realize the actual uses and benefits of Building Information Model (BIM). Narges shopping mall is located in Tehran, Iran. As a part of Hekmat master plan, Narges shopping center is an 11 stores building with a total area of 30000 Sq.m. This shopping and entertainment center is comprised of 150 retails and two multi-use public halls with a capacity of 400 persons each and underground parking with total 400 parking space. The main purpose of architecture was to create an urban public center along with its revolving, spiral like form and an ever changing continuous façade by means of different colors, materials, which is in harmony with the other building of the master plan. The approximate cost of the project is $17 million and duration of the project schedule is 30 months. The developed Building Information Model enabled us to identify the potential collisions or clashes between various structural and architectural systems. 4D model has been used for limiting the interaction between subcontractors installing the different systems so rework could be avoided and productivity maximized. It is also observed that the utility of BIM for construction stimulation and clash detection is the best suitable method. Clash detection before the implementation of work is highly recommended to avoid rework.

지하주차장 근무자의 혈중 연 및 Zinc Protoporphyrin 농도 (Blood Lead and ZPP Concentrations of Underground Parking Lot Workers)

  • 자동차 배기가스내 연에 노출될 위험이 큰 직업의 하나인 지하주차장 근무자들의 혈중 연 및 ZPP 농도를 측정하고 근무자의 특성에 따른 연농도의 분포 양상 및 그 상관 요인을 규명하기 위하여 1997년 7월 1일부터 9월 30일까지 대구광역시 소재 모 지하주차장의 남자 차량관리 근무자 25명과 자동차 배기 가스에 직접적으로 노출되지 않는다고 생각되는 사무직 근로자 33명을 대상으로 면접설문조사를 하고, 정맥 혈을 채취하여 원자화 무염광로를 부착한 원자흡광광도계 및 hematofluorometer를 이용하여 혈중 연 및 ZPP 농도를 측정하였다. 지하주차장 근무자들의 평균 혈중 연 농도는 $23.10{\pm}20.77{\mu}g/dl$였고, 대조군은 $12.99{\pm}12.71{\mu}g/dl$로 유의한 차이가 있었으며(p<0.05), 평균 혈중 ZPP 농도는 지하주차장 근무자는 $40.72{\pm}9.46{\mu}g/dl$였고, 대조군은 $38.21{\pm}10.97{\mu}g/dl$로 유의한 차이가 없었다. 지하주차장 근무 정력에 따른 평균 혈중 연 농도는 5년 미만이 $20.60{\pm}18.28{\mu}g/dl$였고, 5년 이상이 $29.22{\pm}20.76{\mu}g/dl$로써 근무 경력이 많을수록 혈중 연 농도가 증가하는 경향이 있었으나 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 지하주차장 근무 경력에 따른 평균 혈중 ZPP 농도는 5년 미만이 $42.94{\pm}8.75{\mu}g/dl$였고, 5년 이상이 $36.00{\pm}9.71{\mu}g/dl$로써 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었으며, 근무 경력과 혈중 연 및 ZPP 농도사이에 상관 관계는 거의 없었다. 흡연 습관과 혈중 연 농도의 관계에서는 지하주차장 근무자는 흡연군에서 높은 혈중 연 농도를 나타내었으나 통계적으로는 유의하지는 않았고, 혈중 ZPP 농도도 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었다. 혈중 연 농도를 종속변수로하고, 연령, 흡연습관 및 직종을 독립변수로 한 중회귀분석에서 직종만이 혈중 연 농도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변수였고, 혈중 ZPP 농도를 종속변수로하고, 연령, 흡연습관 및 직종을 독립변수로 한 중회귀분석에서 연령만이 혈중 ZPP 농도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변수였다.

병원 이용자의 의료서비스 만족도 조사 (Patient's Satisfaction with Medical Care Services in Hospital)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine factors influencing patient satisfaction with medical services in hospital, which is classified into environmental aspect, human services and procedural services. Based on the results of literature review, the study focused on effects of social-demographical factors on patient satisfaction. The environmental aspect of medical care services included medical equipment and facilities, hygiene, ventilation, heating and air-conditioning, waiting and resting space, ward space and parking facilities. Procedural service included registration process, bill payment, waiting time after registration, examination and prescription as well as appointment process. Human services consisted of physicians listening to stories of patients, examination duration, physicians' explanation and physicians' service. As for nurses, explanation about disease, examination procedure and results, kindness and nursing care were evaluated. Services provided by other staff members were also evaluated. Patient satisfaction, defined as individual attitude toward medical service as a whole, was measured using a questionnaire. A total of 700 in-or out-patients were surveyed in 6 hospitals with more than 300 beds in North Gyeongbuk Province. 1. The level of patient satisfaction varied with characteristics of patients. Male patients and those in their 30s had a low level of satisfaction. Dissatisfaction level was positively related to education level but negatively related to economic condition. 2. As for patient satisfaction with medical service providers and other employees in hospital, satisfaction level with physician's explanation about treatment was higher. But dissatisfaction levels with treatment duration and the lack of explanation about examination procedures were high, calling for improvement. Dissatisfaction level with nursing care was high, calling for training of nurses for better service. Given the low level of satisfaction with human services, hospital employees need to be trained to improve their service. 3. It Was found that administrative service was also a significant factor influencing patient satisfaction in addition to medical service. It is therefore important for hospitals to provide patients with prompt and convenient procedural service. 4. Environmental factors such as medical equipment and amenity facilities also affected patient satisfaction. Thus environmental condition, procedural service and human service are all important to improve medical service in hospital. In summary, procedural service was the most significant factor for patient satisfaction. The level of satisfaction in patients was also affected by human service and environmental condition. It is therefore necessary to take patient-oriented approach in providing medical service in an effort to improve patient satisfaction. The finding of a lower level of satisfaction with human service signifies the need for training of healthcare providers and other hospital employees for better services. The introduction of advanced management programs is also needed to improve procedures that patients go through in hospitals.

도시 강우유출수를 처리하는 나무여과상자의 장기 처리효율에 영향을 주는 수리학적 및 수문학적 인자 연구 (Hydrologic and Hydraulic Factors Affecting the Long-term Treatment Performance of an Urban Stormwater Tree Box Filter)

  • 식생체류지 기법 중 하나인 나무여과상자는 유역면적 및 강우유출수의 특성에 따라 기법의 용적 및 수질 저감 능력 조정이 가능한 도시 저영향개발 기술이다. 본 연구는 주차장 강우유출수 처리를 위해 6년동안 운영된 나무여과상자의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 수행되었다. 또한 나무여과상자의 저감 능력에 영향을 미치는 수리 수문학적 요인들을 조사하였다. 분석 결과, 강수량의 증가는 나무여과상자의 유출량, 평균유량 및 첨두유량 감소 등의 수리 수문학적 성능이 감소되는 것으로 평가되었다(r = -0.53 to -0.59; p < 0.01). TSS, 유기물, 영양물질 및 중금속 등의 오염물질은 나무여과상자 내 충진된 여재의 여과 및 흡착, 침투, 증산발 기작 등을 통하여 저감되는 것으로 나타났다(p < 0.001). 또한 유출량, 평균유량, 첨두유량, 체류시간 및 강우지속시간 등과 같은 수리 수문학적 요인의 영향을 받는 것으로 평가되었다. 이는 나무여과상자 시설을 유역면적 대비 시설의 표면적을 1 % 미만으로 설계 시 특히 유용한 것으로 나타났다.
