다기능성을 갖는 철도 차량용 승차감 측정시스템 개발 (Development of Ride Comfort Measuring System for Railway with Multi-function)

  • Recently, the "ride comfort" problem becomes increasingly important because of today's needs for train speedup. The concept of term "ride comfort" is equivocal. Generally it is defined as the vehicle vibration. There are many studies on evaluation method of ride comfort for railway. But each of them recommends the different assessment method and the different guidance. In general, the evaluation methods defined in the standards, such as ISO 2631 and UIC 513R, and Ride Index suggested by Sperling, have been used in the railroad. But, only one or two methods of these can be evaluated by using the commercial ride comfort measuring system. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the new ride comfort measuring system for railway with multi-function. In this paper, the generalization of "ride comfort" and the design and verification of new ride comfort measuring system for railway with multi-function have been described and the application examples has been introduced.

  • Noise map is a presentation of existing data or predicted noise situation in terms of noise indicator. However, it has shortcoming for assessing the number of people exposed, or the number of dwellings affected to any relevant limit values of noise level in certain areas. In this study, so called over-ride value noise mapping is proposed to make up for the shortcoming by using over-ride function of object-oriented programming and it is to show the guard of the area where it is satisfied the standard of option, or it is not satisfactory. Over-ride value noisemap data is combined with topography layer, population and house statistics, and GIS space statistical analysis. The over-ride value noise mapping can also he applied to make the road traffic noisemap, the railroad noisemap, the aircraft noisemap, and the industrial site noisemap This can express noise damage information more exactly.

  • In this paper, the ride comfort from a computer simulation was compared to the experimental result. For measuring ride comfort of a passenger car, acceleration data was obtained from the floor and seat during highway running with different speeds. The measured acceleration components were multiplied by the proper weighting functions, and then summed together to calculate overall ride values. Testing several passenger cars, the ride comforts were compared. In order to investigate the effect of vibration signals on the steering wheel, an apparatus to measure the vibrations and weighting functions on the steering wheel were designed. The effect of the steering accelerations on the ride comfort were investigated and added for the overall ride comfort. For the computer simulations, Korean dummy models were developed based on the Hybrid III dummy models. For the Korean dummy scaling, the national anthropometric survey of Korean people was used. In order to compare and check the validity of the developed Korean dummy models, dynamic responses were compared to those of Hybrid III dummy models. The computer simulation using the MADYMO software was also compared to the experimental results.

시운전 시험을 통한 한국형 고속열차의 승차감 변화추세에 관한 연구 (Examination on the variation of ride comfort for korean high speed train through on-line test)

  • In this paper, we introduce the variation of ride characteristics for HSR 350x(Korea High Speed Train project) through on-line test during about 3 years. The concept of term "ride comfort" is equivocal. Generally it is evaluated as the vehicle vibration. The ride comfort for HSR 350x has been assessed by statistical method according to UIC 513R. The testing results show that HSR 350x has no problems from the viewpoint of the comfort ride on the high speed line and conventional line and that 1st and 2nd suspensions play an important role in the ride characteristics for high speed train.

  • This paper gives information which is applied to install the electrical equipment of amusement park and ride. For analyzing the standard of electrical equipment installation, we research the related regulation of National Electrical Code(2002), IEC 60364-series and Technical standards for Electrical facilities of internal standard. Among electrical equipments of amusement park and ride, especially we study the transformer vaults, overcurrent protection and ground protection of electrical equipment. So we the furnished the installation information of transformer vaults, overcurrent and ground protection at amusement park and ride.

GIS를 이용한 환승시설 입지 적합도 평가 (Evaluating location suitability of Park-and-Ride facilities using GIS)

  • 환승시설(Park-and-Ride facilities)은 상이한 교통수단을 갈아탈 수 있도록 설계된 교통시설로, 대도시 지역의 교통혼잡, 대기오염 등 교통문제를 완화시키는 방안으로 평가받고 있다. 환승시설의 입지 결정은 다기준 의사결정 과정으로, 다양한 입지요인들을 체계적으로 평가하고 결석하는 방법을 필요로 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 지리정보시스템(GIS)의 공간데이터 관리기능 및 다양한 공간분석 기능을 이용하여 환승시설의 입지 적합도를 평가하는 방법 및 절차를 제시하는 것이다. GIS를 이용한 적합도분석 방법을 이용하여 지가, 토지이용, 도로접근성, 대중교통접근성, 승용차 유인가능성, 업무활동중심지로부터의 거리, 기존시설과의 경쟁 등의 요인들을 평가하였다. 그 후 가중치 기법을 이용하여 개별요인 적합도를 모두 반영한 최종 적합도 지도를 생성하였다. 종합적으로 평가된 결과를 바탕으로 정해진 수의 입지 후보지를 선정하였고 잠재적 수요를 평가하였다. 잠재적 수요평가를 위하여 포물선 모양의 서비스 영역을 정의하였다. 이러한 환승시설 입지 적합도분석 과정을 시설의 입지결정 및 설계과정에 유용한 정보를 제공한다.

But each of them recommends the different assessment method and the different guidance. So users must review whether they can apply it to their system or not. In general, the evaluation methods defined in the standards - ISO 2631, UIC 513 R, and Ride Index suggested by Sperling - have been used in the railroad. We performed the ride comfort test in KNR line(Seoul - Kwangju) and simulated the relationship between them. And we compared our results to ERRI's.

소형 시뮬레이터를 이용한 차량거동요소별 승차감 민감도 평가 (Evaluation of Ride Quality Sensitivity on Vehicle Dynamic Behavior Using a Small Scale Simulator)

  • PURPOSES: This study aims to evaluate the effects of vehicle dynamic behaviors on ride quality. METHODS : Simulation and field test were conducted to analyze the behavior of a driving vehicle. The simulation program CarSIM was applied and an INS (Inertial Navigation System) was used for field experiments. A small simulator was developed to simulate vehicle behavior such as roll, pitch, and bounce. The panels evaluated the ride quality in five stages from "very satisfied"to "very dissatisfied."Experiments were conducted on a total of 144 cases of vehicle behavior combinations. RESULTS :In both simulation and field tests, pitch is the largest and yaw the smallest. Especially in the field test, the amount of yaw is very low, about 7% of pitch and 18% of roll. The sensitive and extensive analysis conducted related ride quality with changing the frequency and amplitude. It was found that the most sensitive frequency range is 8 Hz across all amplitudes. Moreover, the combination of the roll and bounce was most sensitive to the ride quality at the low-frequency range. CONCLUSIONS : This result show that the vertical vehicle behavior (bounce) as well as the rotational behavior (roll and pitch) are highly correlated with ride quality. Therefore, it is expected that a more reasonable roughness index can be developed through a combination of vertical and rotational vehicle behavior.
