Effect of Xanthine Derivatives on the Carbonic Anhydrase Activity in the Mouse (마우스 Carbonic anhydrase 활성에 미치는 Xanthine 유도체의 영향)

  • This study was undertaken to observe the effect of xanthine such as caffeine and aminophylline on the activity of carbonic anhydrase in the kidney and stomach of the mouse. Carbonic anhydrase activities were measured by Philpot & Philpot method (1936). The results of this experiment were as follows: 1. The activity of carbonic anhydrase in the kidney of the mouse was silightly inhibited by the administration of caffeine (0.1 mg/gm, B.W.) or aminophylline (0.08 mg/gm, B.W.). The inhibition was more pronounced by the administration of aminophylline than that of caffeine. 2. In the stomach, there was no significant change in the activity of the carbonic anhydrase after the administration of either caffeine or aminophylline.

  • Laplacian of Gaussian, ${\nabla}^2G$ operator proposed by Marr and Hildreth is known as a rough bandpass filter. This paper shows how to detect the change of intensity corresponding to an arbitrary spatial frequency in an image using ${\nabla}^2G$ operator.

  • 최적조류계산은 전력계통에서 여러 가지 제약조건을 만족하면서 경제적으로 계통을 운영하기 위한 기법이다. 종래의 최적조류계산 방법은 주로 선형계획법, 비선형계획법 같은 수치해석적인 방법을 사용하였다. 그러나, 이러한 방법들은 전역 최적해를 구하기 위해서는 목적함수가 Convex해야 한다. 또한 계통 규모가 클 경우, 최적해 수렴이 안되거나 수렴이 되더라도 시간이 많이 걸리는 단점이 있다. 최근에는 이러한 문제를 극복하고자 유전알고리즘과 같은 기법들이 최적조류계산 문제에 적용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 유전알고리즘을 이용한 최적조류계산 기법을 소개하고 테스트 계통을 대상으로 그 적용가능성을 검증하였다.

  • 최적조류계산은 전력계통에서 여러가지 제약 조건을 만족하면서 경제적으로 계통을 운영하기 일한 기법이다. 종래의 최적조류계산 방법은 주로 선형계획법, 비선형계획법 같은 수치해석적인 방법을 사용하였다. 그러나, 이러한 방법들은 전역 최적해를 구하기 위해서는 목적함수가 convex해야 한다. 또한 계통 규모가 클 경우, 최적해 수렴이 안되거나 수렴이 되더라도 시간이 많이 걸리는 단점이 있다. 최근에는 이러한 문제를 극복하고자 여러 가지 진화연산기법들이 최적조류계산 문제에 적용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 최근에 등장한 PSO알고리즘을 이용한 최적조류계산 기법을 소개하고 테스트 계통을 대 상으로 그 적용가능성을 검증하였다.

  • In power systems, the state estimation takes an important role in security control. At present, the weighted least squares(WLS) method has been widely used to the state estimation computation. This paper presents an application of Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO) to state estimation in power systems. PSO is a modern heuristic optimization method to overcome the problems of classical optimization. PSO is employed to solve state estimation on the IEEE-30 bus system.

  • Not all CCD pixels generate uniform value for the uniform radiance due to the different process of manufacture and each pixel characteristics. And the image data compression is essential in the real time image transmission because of the high line rate and the limited RF bandwidth. This pixel's nonuniformity and the loss compression make CCD pixel correction necessary in on-orbit condition. In the MSC system, the NUC unit, which is a part of MSC PMU, is charge of the correction for CCD each pixel. The correction is performed with the gain and the offset table for the each pixel and the each TDI mode. These correction tables are generated and programmed in the PMU Flash memory through the various image data tests at the ground test. Besides, they can be uploaded from ground station after onorbit calibration. This paper describes the principle of the table generation and the test way of the non-uniformity after NUC

  • SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) is one of the most important performance for the electro-optical camera system. This paper shows not only the SNR analyses for the MSC system, which is the payload in the KOMPSAT2 satellite, but also the trials for its improvement in the electronics circuit design. The MSC deals with one panchromatic band and four multi-spectral bands. The SNR analyses are performed based on the MSC design for the each band and assuming that the defined radiance reached directly to the sensor entrance pupil. In the SNR calculation, shot noise, dark current noise, analog electronics noise and ADC quantization noise are considered as noise sources. In these noise sources, especially, the electronics noise depends on the camera electronics design. This paper shows the camera electronics design to increase SNR and its test results as well as the SNR analyses.

  • The SRI (Super Resolution Imager) uses the CCD (Charge coupled device) detector that is used to convert the light into electronic data. The purpose of the SRI is to obtain data for high resolution images by converting incoming light into digital stream of pixel data. The SRI has a high resolution, so this electronic system needs more fast imaging data processing, detector control and data transmission systems. This report describes the required system specification and manufactured electronic system for satellite.

  • More then 120 species of higher fungi were collected in Mt. Muhack areas during the period from May, 1985 to September, 1986. These higher fungi were identified. As a result of identification, Hygrocybe ovina(Fr.) Kuhn., lnocybe albodisca Peck., I. calospora Que'I., and I. kobayasii Hongo were new to be Korea.
