  • This paper presents a real-time scheduler for nuclear safety system. According to constraints and requirements of nuclear safety system, scheduler design analysis is done and algorithms are developed for implementation. Using DSP based hardware, a real-time scheduler is realized. Consequently, this paper shows the performance of periodical software through the monitoring program.

Kinetics and Thermodynamic Studies on the Reaction of Cysteine with Cinnamaldehyde

  • The reaction of cysteine with cinnamaldehyde have been studied kinetically and thermodynamically. It was found that the reaction proceeds in two steps; formation of the monoadduct by a Michael type addition followed by the nucleophilic attack of the second cysteine to the carbonyl carbon of the monoadduct to afford the thiazolidine derivative. A reaction profile for the reaction of cysteine with cinnamaldehyde was constructed based on the thermodynamic parameters analyzed for the forward and the reverse reactions. It was assumed that the second step of this reaction accompanies an intermediate, a Schiff base.

  • In this paper, I propose an automatic approach to annotating images dynamically based on MBRM(Multiple Bernoulli Relevance Models) using GLCM(Grey Level Co-occurrence Matrix). MBRM is more appropriate to annotate images compare with multinomial distribution. The model is used in limited test set, MSRC-v2 (Microsoft Research Cambridge Image Database). The results show that this model is significantly outperforms previously reported results on the task of image annotation and retrieval.

  • In this paper, I propose the novel method based on Labeled Hough transform and GLCM(Grey-Level Co-occurrence Matrix) for license plate detection. A lot of conventional methods have been proposed to detect the license plate, but those are useless in order to detect the license plate well in case of dark or unstable images. Histogram equalization is preprocessed to each image before applying this method. As a result, the license plate is detected accurately
