택배서비스산업에서 탄소배출비용을 고려한 물류정책 수립 연구 (A Study on the Logistics Policy Considering the Cost of Carbon Emission in Parcel Express Industry)

  • This paper researches on the effective and efficient logistics policy for the parcel express company. The paper derives new policy by considering the number of used vehicles, carbon emission amount, delivery completion time, etc. The maximum waiting of delivery is considered as the time limit T day. To verify the effectiveness of the derived policy, the data of 30 days is generated, and it was shown that the derived policy is very effective compared with the conventional one.

  • 택배 업계의 서비스 품질 향상과 고객 만족에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 다양한 차원에서 분석한 연구가 많이 이루어져 왔다. 이러한 연구의 대부분은 한정된 응답자를 대상으로 설문조사나 인터뷰 등의 질적 방법이 사용되어 자료의 형식과 내용, 응답자의 범위가 제한적이라는 한계가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 장기간에 축적된 불특정 다수의 소비자 상담 사례와 업계 종사자의 불만이 반영된 기사문을 대상으로 삼아 택배 서비스에서 소비자와 공급자가 지적하는 불만에 관한 주요 토픽을 탐색하고 분석하여 선행 연구의 미비점을 보완하고자 하였다. 또한, 이러한 토픽이 시점에 따라 어떻게 변화하는지 흐름을 분석함으로써 최근에 제기된 새로운 토픽을 발굴하고 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 이 결과 지연/분실/오배송 토픽과 택배 산업 경쟁 심화 토픽이 중심을 이루는 것으로 나타났다. 토픽 트렌드 분석 결과 최근 국제 택배 상담 내용이 다소 늘었고, 아파트 택배 배송과 관련된 갈등이 많이 다루어져 이를 정부 정책에 반영하거나 연구 주제로 다루어 볼 수 있을 것이다. 연구 결과 나타난 토픽은 선행 연구에서 다루어진 내용이 주를 이루지만 내밀한 상담사례와 학술 문헌 등 다른 자료와 분석 방법을 추가하면 더 새롭고 가치있는 토픽을 도출할 수 있을 것이라고 기대한다.

물류 작업 자동화를 위한 로봇 제어 정보 관리 시스템 (Robot Control Data Management System for Automatic Parcel Sorting)

  • 본 논문에서는 물류회사에서 수작업으로 이루어지던 물류 배달 구분 작업을 자동화하기 위한 로봇 제어 정보 관리 시스템을 제안한다. 제안한 로봇제어 정보 관리시스템은 3D 영상인식장치로부터 소포의 가로, 세로, 높이, 집는 윗면의 형태 등 소포 형상정보와 무게, 놓여 진 위치, 부대 정보를 기록한 바코드 등의 소포 상황 정보를 넘겨받아서 로봇 매니퓰레이터의 픽업 제어정보와 드롭 제어정보를 생성하여 로봇제어정보를 보내준다. 로봇 매니퓰레이터는 물류 정보에 따른 픽업제어 정보와 드롭 제어정보를 넘겨받아 소포 픽업과 배달 위치에 따른 파레트에 해당물류를 드롭 할 수 있게 된다. 제안된 물류배달을 위한 로봇 제어 정보 관리 시스템은 수작업으로 처리되었던 물류배달 순서 구분 작업을 자동화함으로써 물류 배달에 있어 시간과 비용을 절감시키고 산업재해를 예방하는데 크게 기여하게 될 것이다.

  • The development of technology related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the growth of the online market due to pandemic are continuing the growth of the logistics market for product delivery. If it is difficult to deliver the product directly to the customer during delivery, storage and delivery using the unmanned courier box are being carried out. However, existing storage boxes are not actively used due to lack of usability even though they have the advantage of storing goods and delivering non-face-to-face. In addition, existing courier boxes are not prepared for cold chain transportation. The unmanned delivery storage device with ICT cold chain technology should be developed to prepare for the transition to non-face-to-face society, to improve logistics efficiency and meet user's requirements. Also, it is necessary to consider the measures to reduce the safety problems that may occur during the use and maintenance of the automatic system. This study conducted a model-based analysis for the development of unmanned delivery storage devices with ICT cold chain technology, and conducted a study to derive the system development specifications that meet the requirements and secure safety and apply them to the development process.

펄프 조성 및 무기 충전제가 담배 연포장지 물성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of pulp composition and inorganic fillers in the furnish on the properties of parcel wrapper for cigarettes)

  • The parcel wrapper for cigarettes has been used as the package and media materials for protection and design of product brands. The design of parcel wrapper has been contributed to the delivery of brand image and motivated consumer to purchase the brand. Therefore, the properties of parcel wrapper have been paid attention to highlight the design image, and increasing opacity of media materials has been one of the effective ways to obtain clear design on the paper surface. This study was carried out to improve the opacity of parcel wrapper for cigarettes. The effects of pulp composition and inorganic fillers in the furnish on the optical and mechanical properties were investigated. The use of hardwood in the stock preparation gave the increased opacity of paper than that of softwood. The application of higher refractive indices of fillers was effective to improve opacity. Brightness, tensile strength and stiffness were affected by the retained filler amount on the paper. Increase of filler contents decrease the tensile strength and stiffness due to the lesser bonding ability of fibers.

Identification of Hazard for Securing the Safety of Unmanned Parcel Storage Device System Using Robot Technology

  • The development of the fourth industrial revolution and logistics 4.0 related technology, the growth of the e-commerce market, and the transition to a non-face to face society due to the pandemic are accelerating the growth of the logistics industry. Due to the growth of the logistics industry, various services are emerging to meet the requirements of the market, and research and technology development related to the parcel storage, which is an important element of the last mile service, is also underway. In the past, if it was difficult to deliver the goods directly to the recipient, the parcel storage installed near the delivery location was used, but the usability was not good and the storage of the goods was limited. In addition, the existing parcel storage has a lot of functional limitations compared to the advanced logistics technology, so it is necessary to develop a device that improves it. Therefore, this study conducted to secure safety for unmanned parcel storage devices with robot technology to improve usability and functionality in line with the advanced logistics industry. Based on ISO 10218, an industrial robot related standard, risk identification studies were conducted to derive results that contribute to the development of devices under development.

Novel online routing algorithms for smart people-parcel taxi sharing services

  • Building smart transportation services in urban cities has become a worldwide problem owing to the rapidly increasing global population and the development of Internet-of-Things applications. Traffic congestion and environmental concerns can be alleviated by sharing mobility, which reduces the number of vehicles on the road network. The taxi-parcel sharing problem has been considered as an efficient planning model for people and goods flows. In this paper, we enhance the functionality of a current people-parcel taxi sharing model. The adapted model analyzes the historical request data and predicts the current service demands. We then propose two novel online routing algorithms that construct optimal routes in real-time. The objectives are to maximize (as far as possible) both the parcel delivery requests and ride requests while minimizing the idle time and travel distance of the taxis. The proposed online routing algorithms are evaluated on instances adapted from real Cabspotting datasets. After implementing our routing algorithms, the total idle travel distance per day was 9.64% to 12.76% lower than that of the existing taxi-parcel sharing method. Our online routing algorithms can be incorporated into an efficient smart shared taxi system.

교통 체증을 고려한 물품 보관함 위치 및 동적 차량 경로 문제 (Parcel Locker Locations and Dynamic Vehicle Routing Problem with Traffic Congestion)

  • Due to the complexity of urban area, the city vehicle routing problem has been a difficult problem. The problem has involved factors such as parking availability, road conditions, and traffic congestion, all of which increase transportation costs and delivery times. To resolve this problem, one effective solution can be the use of parcel lockers located near customer sites, where products are stored for customers to pick up. When a vehicle delivers products to a designated parcel locker, customers in the vicinity must pick up their products from that locker. Recently, identifying optimal locations for these parcel lockers has become an important research issue. This paper addresses the parcel locker location problem within the context of urban traffic congestion. By considering dynamic environmental factors, we propose a Markov decision process model to tackle the city vehicle routing problem. To ensure more real situations, we have used optimal paths for distances between two nodes. Numerical results demonstrate the viability of our model and solution strategy.

OPS 프로세스를 활용한 지하공간 도시물류시스템의 시나리오 도출을 통한 개념설계 수행에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Underground Urban Logistics system Design through the scenario derivation using OPS process)

  • Despite various economic crises, the domestic parcel delivery market handled 3.37 billion parcels in 2020 while maintaining annual growth due to the activation of e-commerce. In particular, in the case of the metropolitan area, which accounts for about 70% of the nation's parcel throughput, the increase in parcel delivery volume is directly related to the increase in freight vehicles in central area of Seoul,. And it leads to an increase of unnecessary social and environmental costs such as traffic congestion, road damage, and environmental pollution in the city. Therefore, in this paper we proposed the underground urban logistics system utilizing the existing urban rail infrastructure, and establish a conceptual design by operational scenario. In order to establish conceptual design of underground urban logistics system, we use order picking system process, which is use in warehouse, produce result combined ISO/IEC 26702. The results of this study can be usefully used before the underground urban logistics system is introduced.

국내택배시스템에 개미시스템 알고리즘의 적용가능성 검토 (Application of Ant System Algorithm on Parcels Delivery Service in Korea)

  • 외판원 문제(TSP; Traveling Salesman Problem)는 경로탐색 최적화문제로 '풀리지 않는 문제'(NP-complete; None-deterministic Polynomial-time complete)에 속하므로 경유지 수가 많아짐에 따라 급격히 계산시간이 증가한다. 때문에 적용시 정확한 최적해보다는 최적 근사해에 대한 발견적 (heuristic) 알고리즘들을 이용한다. 본 연구는 TSP에 적용되는 발견적 알고리즘으로 개미 시스템알고리즘(ASA; Ant System Algorithm)을 검토하고. 국내 택배시스템에 ASA의 적용가능성을 검토하였다. ASA는 NP-complete 문제를 위한 발견적 알고리즘으로, 1990년대 초 M. Dorigo 등에 의해 연구되어졌다. ASA는 개미들이 이동간에 페로몬이라는 일종의 화학물질을 분비할 때, 이동경로 상에 분비된 페로몬 누적에 따라 확률적 방법으로 경로를 결정하게 된다. 이러한 ASA는 NP-complete문제에서 계산시간이나 최단경로탐색에서 우수한 결과를 얻는 것으로 발표되고 있으며, 교통분야에서 차량경로탐색뿐만 아니라 네트워크 관리 및 도로선형계획 등 그 적용범위가 점차 확대되어지고 있다. 현재 국내 택배시스템에서 차량배차시 명확한 기준이 없으며 주로 담당 운전자의 경험과 판단에 의해 결정된다. 본 연구에서는 국내택배시스템에 ASA의 적용가능성을 검토하였다. 담당 운전자의 경로결정이 가로 10.0km, 세로 10.0km의 범위에서 인접이웃알고리즘(NNA: Nearest Neighbor Algorithm)을 따른다고 가정했을 때와 랜덤한 20개의 경유지를 가질 때, 그리고 경유지 수를 10개씩 증가하여 200개까지 증가할 때를 비교 분석한 결과, ASA이 NNA 보다 우수하였다. ASA을 국내택배시스템에 적용시 운송비용 절감 등의 운영개선을 기대할 수 있으며, 특히 영세한 택배업체에서 보다 저렴하고 우수한 택배시스템을 구축할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.
