이기종 IoT 장치간의 데이터 전송 속도 차이로 인한 데이터 손실 방지 기법 (The prevent method of data loss due to differences in bit rate between heterogeneous IoT devices)

  • IoT 장치들은 네트워크 구성에 많이 사용되고 있고, 증가하고 있다. 데이터는 필요에 따라서 이기종의 IoT 장치를 통하여 전송된다. 본 논문에서는 Bluetooth 5를 이용하여 내부 네트워크를 구성하고, LoRa(Long Range)를 통하여 데이터 전송할 때 발생하는 전송 데이터 손실을 방지하기 위한 기법을 제안한다. Bluetooth 5가 LoRa의 데이터 전송 속도에 비해 빠르므로 LoRa를 통하여 데이터를 전송할 때 데이터 손실 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 전송 데이터 손실 방지 기법은 Bluetooth 5와 LoRa 뿐 아니라 이기종의 IoT 장치의 데이터 전송 속도 차이로 인해 발생하는 데이터 손실을 방지할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 또한 본 논문에서는 제안하는 데이터 손실 방지 기법을 적용하여 시뮬레이션 결과를 보인다. 2가지 방법으로 시뮬레이션 했을 때 전송 성능과 저장에 필요한 메모리 양 을 보인다.

TPM, PAC 활동에서 생산성지표와 재무회계 지표의 연계방안 전략 (The Linkage Strategies Between Productivity Metrics and Financial Accounting Metrics in TPM and PAC Activities)

  • This paper proposes a strategic model of linkage between productivity metrics and financial accounting metrics to properly evaluate the financial effect of TPM activities and the business performance. This linkage strategy provides a connection tool for clear communication between factory-level and headquarters that the metrics proposed by this paper ultimately improves a quality of support from the management by receiving the factors required for productivity activities in the practical field. This factor includes such as equipment, raw materials and labors. Here, we propose that chain reaction models using break down structure of productivity metrics and financial metrics enhance the knowledge sharing of KPI (Key Performance Indicator) which generally tend to create oversimplified communication between management in headquarters and employees in the practical fields. The productivity metrics include OEE(Overall Equipment Effectiveness) of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), OLE (Overall Labor Effectiveness) of PAC(Performance and Analysis and Control) activities, and OYE (Overall Yield Effectiveness) of TMM(Total Material Management) activities. The financial accounting metrics include ROE(Return on Equity), ROA(Return on Asset), and AVR(Added-Value Rate). The suggested chain reaction model selects the financial metrics as initial stage and branch down until final stage of productivity metrics. When demand exceeds supply, an ideal speed rate, the lean OEE strategy can be initially applied to reduce the gap between the demand and supply, then apply variable costing to estimate correct amount of operating profit. In addition, the paper presents a new type of model for linkage between financial accounting metrics including CAPEX(Capital Expenditure), OPEX(Operating Expenditure), EVA(Economic Added Value), DCL(Degree of Combined Leverage), and TPM productivity activities including AM(Autonomous Maintenance), PM(Preventive Maintenance), MP(Maintenance Prevention) and QM(Quality Maintenance). In order to support the evidence of proposed linkage strategy, a case analysis on 52 projects from national TPM contest from 2011 to 2012 is analyzed. The case presents the classification of CAPEX and OPEX activities from TPM, and proposes the correct implementation of financial effect for TPM projects.

  • 본 논문은 그동안 제조 현장에서만 사용되어왔던 협동 로봇이 비대면 서비스의 확대로 일상생활 공간에서 그 활용범위가 넓어지고 있음을 보여주고자 한다. 일상생활에서의 서비스 다양화 측면과 고객 맞춤형 서비스 분야에 로봇과 IoT 기술을 결합함으로써 일반인들도 쉽게 스마트 기술을 접할 기회를 제공할 것이며, 더욱 많은 분야에서 이러한 기술들이 사용되길 기대한다. 본 논문은 로봇바리스타 라는 시스템을 통해 고객이 원하는 서비스를 제공하고 시스템의 모니터링 및 유지, 보수와 관련된 제반 사항을 제공함으로써 고객뿐만 아니라 매장을 운영하는 관리자, 유지·보수의 책임을 갖는 자, 시스템을 설계하는 엔지니어에 이르기까지 편리하게 이용할 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 본 논문은 로보프레소(Robopresso) 라는 구조물을 통해 이를 시연하고자 한다.

정확한 대기오염물질 배출 지정 탐지를 위한 드론 비행 궤도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Drone Flight Trajectory for Accurate Detection of Air Pollutant Emission Designation)

  • 이 논문에서는 정확한 대기오염물질 배출 지정 탐지를 위한 드론 비행 궤도 방법을 제안한다. 공단과 같이 공장이 많은 지역에서 감시가 소홀한 상황에 대기오염물질을 불법 배출하는 사업장들이 존재한다. 기존에는 드론을 이용하여 이러한 지역에서 대기오염물질을 측정하기 위한 연구들이 활발히 진행되었다. 드론을 활용한 측정 방법은 공장의 굴뚝 주변에 멈춰서 오염을 탐지하는 방식을 사용하지만, 기압과 바람 등의 환경 요소에 따라 대기오염물질 탐지가 부정확하다는 문제를 지닌다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 정확한 대기오염물질 배출 지정 탐지를 위한 드론 비행 궤도 방법을 제안한다. 제안 방법은 드론이 굴뚝을 회전하면서 위로 비행하는 스크류 궤도 비행 방법으로, 굴뚝의 전체 면적을 탐지하고 환경요소를 고려해 측정한다. 실험에서 제안 방법이 기존 방법보다 나은 성능을 보였다.

Real-Time Pipe Fault Detection System Using Computer Vision

  • Recently, there has been an increasing demand for computer-vision-based inspection and/or measurement system as a part of factory automation equipment. In general, it is almost impossible to check the fault of all parts, coming from part-feeding system, with only manual inspection because of time limitation. Therefore, most of manual inspection is applied to specific samples, not all coming parts, and manual inspection neither guarantee consistent measuring accuracy nor decrease working time. Thus, in order to improve the measuring speed and accuracy of the inspection, a computer-aided measuring and analysis method is highly needed. In this paper, a computer-vision-based pipe inspection system is proposed, where the front and side-view profiles of three different kinds of pipes, coming from a forming line, are acquired by computer vision. And the edge detection is processed by using Laplace operator. To reduce the vision processing time, modified Hough transform is used with clustering method for straight line detection. And the center points and diameters of inner and outer circle are found to determine eccentricity of the parts. Also, an inspection system has been built so that the data and images of faulted parts are stored as files and transferred to the server.

  • To overcome many defects such as the high product cost, large energy consumption, and big space capacity in conventional mechanical machining, the miniaturization of machine tool and micro factory systems has been envisioned recently. The object of this paper is to research the effect of dynamic characteristic parameters in bolted-joint beams, which is widely applied to the joining of mechanical structures in order to identify structural system characteristics and to predict dynamic behavior according to scale-down from macro to micro system as the development of micro/meso-scale machine tool and micro factories. Modal parameters such as the natural frequency, damping ratio, and mode shape from modal testing and dynamic characteristics from finite element analysis are extracted with all 12 test beam models by materials, by size, and by joining condition, and then the results obtained by both methods are compared.

오류검출이 가능한 임베디드 시스템용 CAN통신 인터페이스 설계 (Design of CAN Communication Interface possible for Error Detection that use for Embedded System)

  • 현재 CAN(controller Area Network)통신은 노이즈에 강인한 시리얼통신으로 전자모듈에 많이 사용하고 있다. 특히, CAN통신은 자동차 전자제어모듈, 엔진제어유닛, 센서모듈 등 자동차 부분에 많이 사용되는 방식 이지만 CAN 통신의 연결노드 우선순위와 오류가 낮아 공장자동화 라인에도 적용되고 있다. CAN통신은 기본적으로 전기 노이즈에 강인하여 적용가능한 분야가 다양하다고 사료된다. 본 연구에서는 High-Speed, Full-CAN에서 2개의 CAN Node를 사용하여 임베디드 시스템용으로 오류 검출이 가능한 CAN통신 인터페이스를 설계 하였다.

A Study of Global Manufacturing Education and Training for Chinese Company Manager

  • Global economic recession, global market reduction, and the deteriorating economic recession are forcing the industry to reconsider the business plan and strategy related to supply chain regardless of the size of the companies. During the economic recession caused by financial anxiety, development of international collaborative producer is the key theme for a manufacturing industry to get over the situation. Especially, development of high-skilled people who are capable of handling global manufacturing management is the key factor in China which shifted from a world factory to a world market. In this background, we started the international project of global manufacturing education and training for Chinese company managers from 2009. In this paper, based on the research conducted by the universities and companies in China, a design of global manufacturing education and training is proposed. This presented design is based on the theory of Japanese production strategy and investigation of actual conditions for Chinese companies and the research methodology of business management practice with efficiency and productive for international level management organization. The effectiveness of the education design is evaluated by applying the international education and training project of Aoyama Gakuin Human Innovation Consulting Inc. and Vigor Management Technology Association.

무선센서네트워크에서 센서 데이터 손실과 오류 감소를 위한 데이터 압축 방법 (Data Compression Method for Reducing Sensor Data Loss and Error in Wireless Sensor Networks)

  • Since WSNs (Wireless Sensor Networks) applied to their application areas such as smart home, smart factory, environment monitoring, etc., depend on sensor data, the sensor data is the most important among WSN components. The resources of each node consisting of WSN are extremely limited in energy, hardware and so on. Due to these limitation, communication failure probabilities become much higher and the communication failure causes data loss to occur. For this reason, this paper proposes 2MC (Maximum/Minimum Compression) that is a method to compress sensor data by selecting circular queue-based maximum/minimum sensor data values. Our proposed method reduces sensor data losses and value errors when they are recovered. Experimental results of 2MC method show the maximum/minimum 35% reduction efficiency in average sensor data accumulation error rate after the 3 times compression, comparing with CQP (Circular Queue Compression based on Period) after the compressed data recovering.

A Simple Distillation Process Produce Fuel from Plastic Waste using Incorporate Heat Source

  • This paper is a study of a simple distillation process. Its objective is to compare fuel production from plastic waste, its data collecting is from the factory and simple data calculated a suitable evaluation on the simple distillation plant built before calculation. The experiment with a simple distillation process is separated into three sections. The first section is a simple distillation process of distillation producing diesel using heat source by biomass. The second section is distillation process which produces fuel using heat source by burner. The third section uses heat source by burner incorporate with biomass. The experiment reveals that the result of the second section is the most efficient. In comparison with the experiments and the simple calculation, the result on the efficiency of work has error less than 5% and it is sufficient for the next experimental process. Thus, the study and design on a simple distillation process produces fuel from plastic waste has to concern mainly on design heat exchangers, flow rate and optimized temperature. Further study on this plant can be developed throughout the county due to its low cost and efficiency.
