  • In this paper, some important driving issues pertaining to the sustain-driving circuit are examined A new driving circuit is also proposed The new circuit is cost effective and has a simple PCB layout in comparison to the conventional one. Some additional driving advantages are noted as well.

  • In this paper, device performances of organic lightemitting diodes (OLEDs) will be presented for AMOLED and general illumination applications. Various types of advanced devices were developed to enhance the power efficacy and luminous efficiency. Here we also demonstrated longer lifetime AM-OLED structures, which lifetime is about 100 hours until $L/L_0$ reaches 0.99.

  • In the present study, flexible display technology, which has attracted significant attention in recent years, is discussed. The technology has been widely applied to various devices, such as foldable smartphones and rollable TVs. Notably, different flexible display types from LCD to OLED and E-paper have been employed to implement such devices in practice. Among them, the OLED technology has thus far led the flexible display market. In the present study, the concept and current application fields of the technology are analyzed, and further its potential applications are discussed.

  • Most of past image processing systems have been designed independent of image contents. Now, evolving computation power is making the "image-dependent" elegant algorithms possible to get the better image renditions on display. This paper introduces our recent approaches to quality and pleasant imaging based on image-dependent. Three typical approaches to comfortable "Sharpness", "Lightness", and "Color" renditions on display image arc presented.

  • Lamp mura has become a challenge for slim LCD-TV backlight design. The aim of this paper is to apply a novel diffuser plate to improve lamp mura issue instead of increasing lamps or optical films. The results are positive and contribute to the design of slimmer TV without cost up.
