본 연구의 목적은 국내에서 구축되고 있는 참고문헌 데이터베이스의 현황을 분석하여 문제점을 밝히고, 이들 문제점을 토대로 정보원으로서의 기능과 평가도구로서의 기능을 적절하게 수행할 수 있는 참고문헌 데이터베이스를 구축하기 위한 활성화 방안을 제언하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 국내에서 구축되는 참고문헌 데이터베이스 가운데 전문연구정보센터에서 구축하는 참고문헌 DB, 한국과학기술정보연구원의 KSCI, 학술진흥재단의 KCI. 대한의학회의 KoMCI를 연구대상으로 분석하였다. 이를 근거로 국내 참고문헌 데이터베이스 구축 사업을 위한 방안을 도출하여 제시하였다. 이들 자료는 참고문헌DB 구축을 위한 제도 및 정책, 기술적 방향을 제시하는데 근거자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

국내학술지의 국제적 이용과 인용확대를 위해 국가출연기관인 KISTI에서 학술논문 디지털 식별자인 DOI 번호부여 및 DOI 기탁사업을 추진해오고 있다. 그리고 DOI를 기반으로 학술지간 인용을 확인할 수 있는 Cited-by linking 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 KISTI를 통해 기탁된 과학기술분야 논문들을 대상으로 CrossRef의 DOI기반 서비스인 Cited-by linking을 이용하여 학술지간 인용결과를 알아보고 인용확대를 위한 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

One of the distinctive characteristics of industrial engineering (IE) is its multidisciplinarity. This paper explores the multidisciplinary nature of IE using journal citation network analysis. Using the relatedness indexes of IE journals obtained from journal citation report (JCR), we firstly construct the IE network only composed of 26 IE journals. The resulting IE network is partitioned into three sub-networks: management engineering, manufacturing/quality, and ergonomics. We then propose the IE convergence network which includes 81 related journals in other disciplines as well as 26 IE journals. Scrutinizing the IE convergence network reveals that IE has a high degree of interactions with seven disciplines : Operations Research and Management Science, Statistics and Probability, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Design, Business Management, Human Factors and Ergonomics. We investigate the contributions of the related disciplines to IE as well as contributions of IE to the related disciplines. The role of IE journals in exchanging knowledge with related disciplines is also identified by brokerage analysis. It is shown that visualizing and analyzing the IE convergence network can provide an excellent overview of the multidisciplinary structure of IE, which can help IE researchers easily grasp the state-of-the art of IE research.

Many problems making the use and management of patents arduous is caused by the difficulty in knowing the proper value. This study has suggests the methods to evaluate the value of patents by using a quantitative assessment scale as an alternative or complementary measure instead of the existing subjective evaluation tools. This study is to find a method to determine the capability and level of research and establish the scheme of use and management of patents by using the citation index as a quantitative assessment measure. The data used in this paper has been obtained from a public-sector R&D institute, the K-Institute in Korea.

The aim of this study is to compare country output and citation impact as well as to assess the level of interdisciplinarity in the field of tribology research during the period 1998-2012, based on the SCOPUS database. Macro-level scientometric indicators such as growth rate, share of international collaborative papers, citation per paper, share of un-cited papers, and publication efficiency index were employed. Further, the Simpson Index of Diversity was used to measure the level of interdisciplinarity. The performance of top countries contributing more than 1000 papers during the study period was discussed. Contributions and share of continents and countries by income groups were examined. Further research contributions and citation impact of selected country groups were analyzed. This study reveals that high levels of interdisciplinarity exist in tribology research. Asia outperforms the other world regions and China contributes most of the papers (25%), while the United States receives most of the citations (22%).

This paper analyzes India's contribution to world tribology research during the period 2001-2012 based on SCOPUS records. India's global publication share, annual output, and its citation impact of Indian contribution, partner countries, leading contributors, leading institutes, and highly cited papers were analyzed. Additionally, a cloud technique is used to map frequently used single words in titles. It is observed that India ranks in the $7^{th}$ position with a global publication share of 3.83% and an annual average growth rate of 25.58% during the period 2001-2012. The citation impact of India's contribution is 6.05 which decreased from 12.74 during 2001-2006 to 4.62 during 2007-2012. 17.4% of India's total research output was published with international collaboration.

과학 기술의 발전은 사회를 급격하게 변화시켜 왔다. 특허 자료 분석은 현대 과학 기술의 흐름을 이해하고 미래 유망기술을 예측할 수 있게 한다. 본 연구에서는 기술의 동향을 파악하고자 1985년과 2012년 사이에 미국 특허청에 등록된 특허를 중심으로 특허 인용 네트워크를 분석한다. 주요 기술군을 파악하기 위해 PageRank 알고리즘 외에 다양한 중심성 지표를 이용하고, 통계적 네트워크 모형을 통해 유사한 기술들의 군집을 찾아내고자 한다.

4차 산업혁명의 핵심 학문인 컴퓨터 분야에서 생산되는 연구성과물에 대한 활용 정보자원의 분석 및 제공은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 국내 컴퓨터분야 학술지 수록 논문들에서 인용한 국제과학기술인용색인인 SCI 학술지들을 식별하여 피인용 현황과 이들의 동시인용 관계를 네트워크로 생성하여 분석하고 지도화하여 시각화하는 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 기반 데이터로 KSCD의 발행연도 기준 2015년부터 2017년까지의 논문 및 참고문헌 데이터를 활용하였고 학술지 동시인용 기법과 네트워크 중심성 분석기법을 사용하였다. 연구 수행 결과, 국내 컴퓨터 분야 학술지 논문들이 인용한 SCI 학술지 및 논문들의 피인용 순위와 인용나이 분석을 통한 인용절정기(2년), 인용반감기(6.6년), 즉시인용율(2.4%)이 파악되었다. 네트워크 중심성 분석결과 피인용 SCI 학술지들에 대한 연결정도, 사이, 근접중심성 지표가 측정되어 지표별 학술지 순위가 측정되었으며 네트워크의 지도화를 통한 시각화를 통해 피인용 SCI 학술지 간 주제분류 간의 관계성을 파악하였다.

The paper suggests newly conceptualized information retrieval system on the notion of citation analysis. The paper also criticizes the traditional information retrieval techniques using Boolean logic. The underlying assumption of this paper is that any pair of papers cited by one paper could be strongly related each other in meaning (Co-citation Analysis). And also any two papers to share same references could be similar each other (Bibliographic Coupling), By using graph algorithm, the networks of two kinds of the papers (the citing group, the cited group) is made in the fields of the genetics and the information and library science. The results say that the maps or networks for cited and citing groups can be useful when applied to the paper set made by the broad searching by subjects or keywords.

기술로드맵은 기술, 제품, 시장의 관계를 고려하여 기술전략 및 기획을 지원하는 강력한 도구로서 기술 로드맵을 개발하거나 실무에 적용시킨 사례 등과 관련된 연구가 다수 수행되었다. 그러나 대부분의 기술로드맵 연구들은 체계적이고 정량적인 분석보다는 브레인스토밍, 전문가 그룹 활용, 델파이 등과 같은 정성적인 방법에 의존하고 있다. 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위해, 본 연구에서는 대표적인 정량적 분석인 특허분석을 활용하였다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 기술수명주기를 고려한 특허인용네트워크를 개발하여 기술로드맵 작성에 적용하고, 이를 통해 유망한 미개발 기술을 기획하는 것이다. 이를 위하여, 우선 특허데이터와 인용정보가 수집되고 이를 바탕으로 특허인용 네트워크가 작성된다. 둘째, 기술수명주기 및 특허출원연도를 고려하여 수명주기에서의 위치를 분석하고, 향후 기술개발기간이 추정된다. 기술진화를 보여주기 위해 하위 세부기술들은 그룹핑되어 상위기술을 설명하고 이는 기술로드맵에 포함되는 노드로서 지칭된다. 마지막으로 기술 층의 각 기술 노드들을 연결 짓고 개발기간을 추정하여 기술로드맵을 작성한다. 이 기술로드맵을 바탕으로 기술기획을 수행하기 위해 텍스트 마이닝을 적용하여 미개발 기술을 제시하고, 향후 개발될 필요가 있는 기술의 특성을 제안한다. 본 연구는 수소저장 기술을 선정하여 앞에서 제시된 방법과 과정을 설명하였다.
