This paper analyzes Empire style costume based on the fashion theory of Lauer and Lauer. We classify fashion into tow categories, a personal identities, the social competition and sexual competition, he economic factor as a functional factor, and the reflective thing of zeitgeist, eroticism as a dynamic factor. These factors can be visualized from fashion design, textiles, ornaments expressed in the paintings.

This paper presents an image processing algorithm which gives an sketch effect on the real image taken by CCD camera. The essence of the technique is the expression of shading by the line touch. Several line patterns are developed to emulate pencil drawings, fusains, Indian ink paintings. This algorithm is expected to be used for computer portraits, character development, and souvenirs.

The Gollyongpo was worn by the King and the Crown Prince in Joseon dynasty as an ordinary wear. The research on the Gollyongpo is focused on the historic record of Joseon dynasty, Joseonwangjosillok. This study will analyze literature, paintings and relics. First, I have researched Ming's(China) representative document daminghuidian, and excavated relics from the tomb dingling. I examined the usage and characteristic, through various remaining literature data, artifacts and paintings. The Gollyongpo was worn for the various ceremonies as well as an ordinary wear. According to the periode, the style and color had changed. The King wore the red Gollyongpo with 5 clawed dragon pattern, the Crown Prince wore black one with 4 clawed pattern, and the eldest son of the Crown Prince wore black one with 3 clawed dragon emblem. After the Daehan Empire, the Emperor wore gold outfit and the Crown Prince wore red outfit. Sonyongpo recorded in the Gungjungbalgi is concerned as Gollyongpo with narrow straight sleeve, one of the Sejong University Museum's Collection. There is some Possibility that the Gollyongpo painted in Bongsado is woven with dragon design, I would leave this matter for next research task.

Most of buildings have been deteriorated with time-elapse by reflection of the building location, material, environmental circumstances and so on. The performance would go down and be demolished if anything could not be done after constructed. The maintenance should be required to preserve a decent living condition or improve a inferior condition by various plans and practices. The maintenance plan needs various data such as a repair scope, a repair time, a forecasted cost, a plan of management and so forth. Among the above required data for planning the maintenance, the deterioration characteristics of the building components would be first analyzed. The deterioration pattern would be a key role to affect and make a maintenance plan. In this paper, it aimed at classifying the deterioration patterns of building components. A deterioration pattern would be analyzed between the cumulative repair cost and time-elapse and modeled with these relations. A deterioration patterns are classified into 4 types-a accelerated type, a straight type, a temporary type and a slowly type. As a result of this research, a accelerated type includes window, window frame, general paintings, general water proofing in building components. A straight type includes the lacquer paintings, furnishings in building components and water supply pipe, boiler, sanitaries in mechanical facilities and lighting in electric facilities. Based on these research results, further study should be conducted to include any other components and an estimating model.

Painting style has mostly affected the creativity of fashion design. The formative of shape and color shown in each painting has close relationship with fashion design. With use of ideas of artists, the fashion designers have made clothes having novel and creative designs. Since the society becomes more diverse and complex and the men's life style has been changed, the contemporary man expresses himself by fashion and he needs the fashion having emotionality and individuality. In accordance with the contemporary customer's needs seeking for the individuality of his own, the development of much more originative and differentiated cloth design by adapting arts to fashion designs is needed. In this study, therefore, the paintings of Paul Klee, who is the representative contemporary artist, have been used as man's dress shirts and jean pants. The paintings have been printed by CAD system. As a result of the adaptation of Paul Klee's painting to men's dress shirts and jean pants, a modern and creative design is developed. And also a new and differentiated design is achieved freely with use of the CAD system by changing the design, textile, and color ways.
