In 2012, Korea introduced a Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) scheme, replacing the Feed-in Tariff (FIT) scheme as a market support policy of renewable energy in the electricity market. RPS is to allocate obligatory quota of renewable energy sources for electricity suppliers, whereas FIT is to guarantee high prices for electricity from renewable energy sources. This study examines the effect of this policy change on solar photovoltaic market. According to the study, solar PV market grew fast under FIT as well as under RPS. However, under RPS the size of subsidy for solar PV suppliers was shrunk substantially. In addition, market risk increased severly under RPS due to the volatility of price of renewable energy certificate (REC) as well as of the electricity market price. The small and medium suppliers of solar PV were suffered the most severly from these policy effects. Therefore, the policy reform of RPS is needed to alleviate the market risk of small and medium suppliers of solar PV.

This paper presents the vector control of single phase induction motor(SPIM) to operate water pumping system using PV system with a maximum power point tracking(MPPT). The water pumping system uses a variable speed SPIM driven a centrifugal pump by field oriented control(FOC) inverter. The MPPT using a DC-DC converter controlled the duty cycle to track maximum power from PV under different insolation conditions. The duty cycle directly relate with a flux producing current control($i_{ds}$). The FOC inverter uses a current control voltage source inverter(CC-VSI). The simulation results are shown that the characteristics and performance of drive system, which varies as each conditions of light by expresses in voltage($V_{dq}$), current($I_{dq}$), speed of motor and torque.
An energy modeling analysis method currently has been considered as a new approach for energy policy research, because the importance of renewable energy use has been emphasized more and more. This study used RETScreen model as a clean energy decision making methodology for adaptation to climate change and elimination of various pollutions. This modeling method includes five step standard analysis; energy model, cost analysis, GHG analysis, financial analysis, and sensitivity & risk analysis and it also assesses both conventional and modern energy sources and technologies. This methodology for the photovoltaic(PV) energy modeling is used to evaluate the energy production, financial performance and GHG emissions reduction of photovoltaic projects. In addition, the PV application systems are classified into three basic applications; On-grid system, Off-grid system and water pumping system. This study assesses the renewable energy techno-economic modeling method with the feasibility analysis result of 10 MW PV power plant in Abu Dhabi in United Arab Emirates. Furthermore this study stresses the importance of renewable energy model research by applying to domestic PV power plant which is now in preparation.

In this paper, We have simulated the output variation of the PV arrays installation with position & angle change. The existing 3 solar array system are $43^{\circ}$ southeast and each of the mounting angle is $17^{\circ}$. The PV output power is 240 kW. The composite studied systems in this paper arrays altered 2 PV array among 3 PV array system- the output 144kW. We simulated this system using Solar Pro ver.4.1. The simulation conditions are southwest $43^{\circ}/array$, mount angle $27^{\circ}/array$. Because the southeast have shadow effect-higher mountain The purpose of southwest $43^{\circ}$ is reduce the shadow effect. The simulation results of the suggestion design algorithm compared to 1,590 kWh/year output is increased with the southeast.
Typically susceptible lesions were developed on pepper (cv. Hanbyul) leaves inoculated with the compatible strains Ds 1 of Xanthomonas campestris pv. vesicatoria. The lesions appeared first water-soaked and then turned yellow with a chlorotic area. In contrast, the leaves inoculated with the incompatible strain 81-23 initially turned yellow and then developed local necrosis. Multiplication of x. c. pv. vesicatoria in pepper leaves also were distinctly different between the two strains. The strain Ds 1 multiplied more greatly than did the strain 81-23 in the infected leaves. X. c. pv. vesicatoria infection of pepper leaves induced the synthesis of soluble proteins, especially more greatly in the compatible than in the incompatible interactions. Some pathogenesis-related (PR) proteins were detected in the intercellular washing fluid (IWF) and extracts of the infected pepper leaves. In particular, the 32 kDa protein on SDS-PAGE gels appeared intensely in the incompatible interaction. In contrast, some proteins with moluecular masses of 65, 71, and 75 kDa disappeared in the infected pepper leaves. Isoelectric focusing could identify the pIs of soluble proteins in infected pepper leaves. The accumulation of the IWF from infected leaves was more conspicuous in the incompatible than the compatible interaction. These results suggest that some extremely acidic and basic proteins were induced and accumulated in the intercellular spaces of infected pepper leaves.
To improve the performance of the top-positioning space in buildings, we suggested the environment-friendly system integrating various design techniques in the previous paper. This work discussed to calculate the length of PV considering a part of metallic radiators for radiative cooling, an critical element of the whole system, for shading not to prevent the PV on roof from generating electricity. In the process of calculating the shading area, we used the geometrical relationship between the sun-rays and the variable roof. For general applications, we utilized DL, the ratio of the length of PV and that of metallic radiator on roof, as a design factor, and then used the maximum insolation and the specific insolation($200W/m^2$) to decide the distance off the axis of rotation. As a result, for DL, we found out the reasonable value of 1.0 with full covering, 1.2 with 90%, and 2.0 with 70% in PV covering.

Photovoltaic (PV) are generally modeled using mathematical equations that describe the PV system behavior. Most of the modeling approach is very simple in terms of that PV module temperature is calculated from nominal constant cell temperature such as ambient temperature and incoming solar irradiance. In this paper, we newly present MATLAB model particularly embedding the effect of wind speed to describe more accurate cell temperature. For analyses and validate purpose of the proposed model, solar power is obtained and compared with and without wind speed from the 50Wp PV module provided by vendor datasheet. In the simulation result, we found that power output of the module is increased to 0.37% in terms of cell temperature a degreed down when we consider the wind speed in the model. This result is well corresponded with the well-known fact that normal PV is 0.4% power changed by cell temperature a degree difference. Therefore it shows that our modeling method with wind speed is more appropriate than the methods without the wind speed effect.
Grid-connected transformerless photovoltaic (PV) inverters (TPVIs) are increasingly dominating the market due to their higher efficiency, lower cost, lighter weight, and reduced size when compared to their transformer based counterparts. However, due to the lack of galvanic isolation in the low voltage grid interconnections of these inverters, the PV systems become vulnerable to leakage currents flowing through the grounded star point of the distribution transformer, the earth, and the distributed parasitic capacitance of the PV modules. These leakage currents are prohibitive, since they constitute an issue for safety, reliability, protection coordination, electromagnetic compatibility, and module lifetime. This paper investigates a wide range of multi-kW range power rating TPVI topologies and classifies them in terms of their leakage current attributes. This systematic classification places most topologies under a small number of classes with basic leakage current attributes. Thus, understanding and evaluating these topologies becomes an easy task. In addition, based on these observations, new topologies with reduced leakage current characteristics are proposed in this paper. Furthermore, the important efficiency and cost determining characteristics of converters are studied to allow design engineers to include cost and efficiency as deciding factors in selecting a converter topology for PV applications.
