  • The continuing demand for quality products requires better understanding and improved control of the production process. And, in recent year requirements for flatness control in strip rolling have become increasinglysevere because of the control for flatness of cold rolled strip is essential for further down stream processing. Also a speeds of rolling mills to meet productivity requirements puts a demanding requirement on the control of flatness of rolled strip. The demands on a total flatness control system therefore are a measuring and indication system consisting of a measuring roll that is robust, accurate, reliable and require a minimum of maintenance. The critical prt of any control system is the quality of the information being provided by the measurement instrument or device. It is therfore of utmost importance to have an accurate, repeatable and reliable measuring system. So, in this paper, The measuring roll for automatic flatness control system of contact type has been investigated.

  • 본 연구는 Labview Simulation Interface Toolkit과 Matlab/Simulink를 조합한 제어 시스템을 매우 짧은 차간 간격을 요구하고, 차량 간의 충돌을 피하기 위해서 매우 정확한 속도제어를 필요로 하는 개인 고속 이동 시스템에 응용하는 것에 대해서 다룬다. 간단한 차량의 운동방정식을 유도하기 위해서 선형모터를 도입한다. 후미 차량에 의해서 추종되어 져야하는 속도 프로파일은 두 차량(선행차량과 후미차량) 간의 상태정보를 기초로 해서 생성된다. 속도 프로파일 추종을 위한 제어 시스템은 Matlab/Simulink 에 의해서 설계된다. 모의시험 결과는 제안된 제어 시스템이 속도 추종 특성을 평가하는데 효과적임을 보인다.

  • In a signal control of the railway system, the first objective is to guarantee a safety of the train operation, and the second is to increase a frequency(a capability of the transportation) of the train operation. In order to express the capability of the transportation a terminology what is called a railroad line capacity is employed. The railroad line capacity means a maximum frequency of the train operation in a possible schedule of the one way operation for one day. During the last several years an improvement in the facilities of the train operation (railroad line extension, improvement in the stations, improvement in the signal facilities) has been achieved to increase the railroad line capacity. In this paper the authors deal with the case analysis which try to shorten headway and which has an impartible relation with increasing of the railroad capacity

  • 본 연구는 매우 짧은 차간 간격을 요구하면서 차량 간의 충돌을 피하기 위해서 매우 정확한 속도제어를 필요로 하는 개인 고속 이동 시스템의 운행제어 알고리즘의 검증을 위한 검증 시스템의 설계에 대해서 다룬다. 검증시스템은 모의 차량, 중앙제어 시스템, 모의지상설비, 모니터링 장치로 구성된다. 모의차량은 총 4EA의 서버(노트북)로 구성 하며, 중앙(지역)제어시스템은 산업용 Motorola사(社)의 PowerPC기반 프로세서 모듈 및 I/O 보드 장치로 구성한다. 모의지상설비는 National Instruments社의 PXI 산업용 제어기를 사용하여 구현한다. 설계된 검증시스템의 시험을 위해서 Labview Simulation Interface Toolkit 과 Matlab/Simulink 가 결합된 환경하에서 모의시험을 거친 시험용 알고리즘을 이용한다.

Primary Restoration Path Selection Considering Ferranti Effect and Reactive Power Capability of Black-start Generators

  • Power system restoration following a massive blackout starts with re-energizing Primary Restorative Transmission (PRT) systems at first. As power systems have been gradually enlarged and become more complex, periodical evaluation and reassignment of PRTs are needed. So far it has been decided by try and error approach by corresponding human experts to analyze and evaluate them. This paper presents an intelligent system that finds optimal primary restoration paths using analytic and heuristic knowledge from PSS/E data, and suggests an optimal PRTs depending on the condition of Ferranti effect or a reactive power capability margin of black-start generator. This system was tested in Korea Electric Power system, and showed a promising result.

  • 차량 자동주행제어시스템에서 차량의 주행중 위치정보는 매우 중요한 요소이다. 이를 위해 GPS를 기반으로 하는 많은 연구가 수행되어 왔다. 하지만PRT(Personal rapid transit) 시스템과 같이 건물내부 또는 터널 등 위성의 가시권을 벗어난 영역에서는 사용성이 크게 제한된다. 본 논문에서는 이런 적용환경을 고려하여 국내에서 개발되고 있는 PRT차량의 주행제어 시스템에서 활용하기 위한 자석검지시스템과 자석검지기술을 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate the expletives and EPP in Chomsky's(1998, 1999) Minimalism. Generalized EPP is suggested in Chomsky(1998): every functional head may have an uninterpretable selectional feature for its specifier position to be filled by a proper element. After briefly examining the properties of EPP and ${\Phi}$- features in Chomsky (1998, 1999), there-constructions are examined in terms of Agree. EPP features are satisfied by there-Merge or Move of an associate NP. Case feature is regarded as a reflex of ${\Phi}$-feature. Hence, it is suggested that there is a pure expletive with a [person] feature. It has shown that the uninterpretable [person] feature of there is not erased by the nonfinite T($T_{def}$) in terms of Agree in the Raising and ECM constructions. Again the uninterpretable [person] feature of there Agrees with finite T and moves to SPEC-T to satisfy the EPP feature, and finally the uninterpretable [person] feature of there is erased. PRT(=-en) is also regarded as a defective probe with a [number] feature and a [gender] feature.

  • 본 논문에서는 개인고속이동(PRT: Personal Rapid Transit)시스템에서 차량의 속도를 제어하기 위해서 필요한 속도 프로파일의 생성과, 생성된 속도 프로파일의 추종 특성을 관찰하기 위한 제어 시스템의 구축에 관해서 다룬다. 제어 시스템을 구축하기 위해서 Labview Real Time Module과 Matlab/Simulink 를 채용한다. 제어기준신호인 속도 프로파일은 간단한 선형방정식을 이용해서 생성할 수 있으며 방정식에 포함되어 있는 변수들에 대한 정보를 얻기 위해서 가상의 선행차량으로부터 feedback되는 차량의 상태정보를 이용한다. 간단한 모의시험을 통해서 속도 프로파일 추종특성의 평가를 위한 제안된 제어시스템의 효용성을 보인다.

  • In this paper, a design of Signal Processing Analog Front-End IC for Automotive Piezo-Resistive Type Pressure Sensor is presented. In modern society, as the car turns to go from mechanical to electronic technology, the accuracy and reliability of electronic parts required importantly. In order to improve these points, Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA) amplifies the received signal in accordance with gain for increasing the accuracy after PRT Sensor is operated to change physical pressure signals to electrical signals. The signal amplified from PGA is processed by Digital blocks like ADC, CMC and DAC. After going through this process, it is possible to determine the electrical signal to physical pressure signal. As processing analog signal to digital signal, reliability and accuracy in Analog Front-End IC is increased. The current consumption of IC is 5.32mA. The die area of the fabricated IC is $1.94mm{\times}1.94mm$.

  • We have cloned and analyzed cDNA coding for nucleocapsid protein N from infectious hematopoietic necrosis virus(IHNV), IHNV-PRT, which was isolated in Korea. The N gene had open reading frame of 1,176 bp that encoded a 391 amino acids with a molecular weight of 42.3 kDa. The deduced amino acid sequence of N protein was 75-90% identical to those of foreign isolates, IHNV, but was 43% and 38% identical to those of other species of fish rhabdovirus, hirame rhabdovirus(HRV) and viral hemorrahagic septicemia virus(VHSV), respectively. However, it revealed high levels of sequence identity between 214-265 amino acid sequences among all species of fish rhabdovirus.
