Solvent extraction behavior of light rare earth elements (Pr, Nd) and medium rare erath elements (Tb, Dy) in the HCl-PC88A-kerosene extraction system was investigated in order to separate high-purity light rare earths (Pr, Nd) and medium rare earths (Tb, Dy) in the mixed rare earth chloride solution. In the batch test step, it was confirmed that the separation efficiency was good when the extractant concentration (PC88A) was 0.5 M, the equilibrium pH after extraction was 0.8 to 1.0 (initial pH 1.3 of the feed), the concentrations of hydrochloric acid in scrubbing solution was set as 0.1 M, the concentrations of hydrochloric acid in stripping solution was set as 2.0 M or more. Based on the experimental data obtained from the batch test, the mixer-settler was composed as follows; 4 stages of extraction, 8 stages of scrubbing, 4 stages of stripping, and 3 stages of pickling organic solution. The Mixer-settler was operated for 180 hours, and the operating conditions were continuously adjusted to obtain the high-purity light/medium rare earths. Finally, the purity of light (Pr, Nd) and medium rare earth elements (Tb, Dy) was reached as 3 N class.

This paper proposes a new islanding detection method for inverter-based distributed generators by continuously injecting a negligible amount of 2nd order harmonic current. The proposed method adopts a proportional resonant (PR) controller for the output current control of the inverter, and a PR filter to extract the 2nd order harmonic voltage at the point of common coupling (PCC). The islanding state can be detected by measuring the magnitude ratio of the 2nd order harmonic voltage to the fundamental voltage at the PCC by injecting a 2nd order harmonic current with a 0.8% magnitude. The proposed method provides accurate and fast detection under grid voltage unbalance and load unbalance. The operation of the proposed method has been verified through simulations and experiments with a 5kW hardware set-up, considering the islanding test circuit suggested in UL1741.

This paper concerns a 2-axis PR type pneumatic manipulator system translating in vertical and rotating in horizontal directions. A simplified linear model is mathematically formulated similar to the pneumatic acturators in dynamic responses in order to devise an appropriate position control scheme. A PD controller preceding the on/off solenoid valve turns out not only economical but also effective in reducing rise time and amplitude of limit cycles, if its control gains are determined on the basis of frequency response. And, additional implementation of symmetric or asymmetric deadband at the PD controller output greatly helps minimize valve opening numbers, positional error, and undesirable direction-dependent property due to the gravitational load. Such a control concept is synthesized through numerical simulations and next applied to the experimental set-up, featuring enhanced positional servo characteristics.

Through the understanding of the change of productivity and the ability of error recovery according to aging and the assessment and analysis of them, we may take this research to contribute to make a design for the road-map to help set up the policy of employment for old generation. For this we have taken an experiment of the coordination tester for 100 person who are chosen randomly and analysed the collected data using SAS, which is one of widely used statistical analysis packages. The main results are as follow: $\circledcirc$ The result of regression between the working speed and the length of the correction of error shows independence. (pr>0.2029). $\circledcirc$ The regression between age and working speed is statistically significant. (pr<0.0001) $\circledcirc$ The relation between age and the length of the correction of error is not significant. (pr>0.9123).

Let D be an integral domain with Spec(D) finite, K the quotient field of D, [D,K] the set of rings between D and K, and SFc(D) the set of semistar operations of finite character on D. It is well known that |Spec(D)| ${\leq}$ |SFc(D)|. In this paper, we prove that |Spec(D)| = |SFc(D)| if and only if D is a valuation domain, if and only if |Spec(D)| = |[D,K]|. We also study integral domains D such that |Spec(D)|+1 = |SFc(D)|.

This study viewed foreign students as a publics that requires active communication, and analyzed the causal relationship between the antecedent variables (professor competency service, university administrative service) and outcome variables (adaptation to university life) of the university-foreign student relationships. As a result, both the professor competency service and the university administrative service were found to have a positive effect on the university-foreign student relationships. Also, the university-foreign student relationships was found to have a positive effect on adaptation to university life. Based on these results, we discussed the need to set the university-foreign student relationship as a major performance indicator and use it as basic data for developing active communication strategies and messages.

Let $R_H$ be a UFD. We say that a nonzero prime ideal Q of R is an upper to zero in R if $Q=fR_H{\cap}R$ for some $f{\in}R$ and that R is a graded UMT-domain if each upper to zero in R is a maximal t-ideal. In this paper, we study several ring-theoretic properties of graded UMT-domains. Among other things, we prove that if R has a unit of nonzero degree, then R is a graded UMT-domain if and only if every prime ideal of $R_{N(H)}$ is extended from a homogeneous ideal of R, if and only if ${\bar{R}}_{H{\backslash}Q}$ is a graded-$Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domain for all homogeneous maximal t-ideals Q of R, if and only if ${\bar{R}}_{N(H)}$ is a $Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ domain, if and only if R is a UMT-domain.

We show that if D is a t-SFT $Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ v-multiplication domain, then $D{\mathbb{[}}\{X_{\alpha}\}{\mathbb{]}}_{1_{D-\{0\}}}$ is a Krull domain, and $D{\mathbb{[}}\{X_{\alpha}\}{\mathbb{]}}_1$ is a $Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ v-multiplication domain if and only if D is a Krull domain.

This research was performed to review the marketing PR(MPR) strategy to build the brand image of Chungnam tourism for the inducement of foreign tourist. Because each local governments are looking for the industries of new growth power from the tourism industry recently, we applied the BI strategy of Chungnam tourism with expended BLC model and GRID model after we analyzed the variety of PR situation and tasks to build the Chungnam tourism's brand image in the competitive domestic and foreign tourism industry. In the result of the study, we set up the limited brand image of Chungnam tourism newly; also we derived a specific action plan. First of all, they need every possible means for Brand Awareness PR, Issue PR, Brand Loyalty PR, etc. depend on brand life cycle with the Chungnam's tourism service products. Secondly, for the each tourism service products, it is requiring to repositioning from present position (B, C, D area) to A area by MPR strategy. Finally, many additional MPR strategies should put in to support for building the brand image for the 'Tourism Chungnam'. The strategic SNS public relations are required with considerations of items that are necessarily need to have the reasons and circumstances for the new foreign tourists, so they can have experiences for the Chungnam Tourism. For the existing foreign tourists, we should keep to build relationship in order to give them trusts and to feel sympathy.
