Communication Effects of Sex-Appeal Fashion POP Advertising -Focused on Nudity Type and Discount Message Use- (섹스어필 패션 POP 광고의 커뮤니케이션 효과 -노출유형과 할인율 메시지 사용을 중심으로-)

  • This study was intended to identify the differences in communication effects according to nudity type and discount message use in the context of sex-appeal fashion POP advertising. For the experiment, 8 stimuli were developed as experimental stimuli for the 4 (nudity type (nude, semi-nude, body-consciousness, non nude)) $\times$ 2 (discount messages (available, not available)) factorial design. A total of 280 questionnaires allocating thirty-five students to each group were distributed. The results were as follows. First, there were significant differences in advertising affect, attitude toward advertising, and brand attitude according to nudity type of sex-appeal fashion POP advertising. Second, there was no significant difference in communication effects by discount message use. Third, there was interaction effect according to nudity type and discount message use on the aspect of advertising cognition.

  • 현재 인터넷 서비스 중에서 가장 많이 사용되는 서비스는 이메일이다. 본 연구에서는 POP3로부터 전송받은 이메일 메시지와 HTTP를 통해 접속한 웹메일 시스템의 이메일 메시지를 분석하여 제목, 보낸이, 본문 메시지와 특정 첨부파일을 분리해낸 후 USB에 연결된 아바타 로봇시스템에 전송 및 재생하는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 텍스트 메시지는 음성 변환 모듈을 통해 음성 파일로 변환하여 전송하게 되고, 특정 확장자의 첨부 파일은 바로 전송된다.

A Study on the Effect of POP Message Framing of Discount Stores and PB Fashion Product Types of Cognitive Need for Closure on Preference of Consumers (할인점 PB패션제품의 제품유형, POP 메시지 프레이밍, 인지종결욕구가 소비자의 호의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study intended to empirically verify the effect of message framing, cognitive need for closure, and type of fashion products on purchasing attitude of PB fashion products in discount stores. The design consisted of three-mixed design of 2(POP(Point of Purchase)message framing: benefit message vs. loss message) ${\times}2$(cognitive need for closure: high vs. low) ${\times}2$(PB fashion product type: utilitarian vs. hedonic). Survey of this study was conducted on 330 men and women in 20~50's in Seoul and Gyeong-gi, and a total of 287 data were analyzed. Data were analyzed with SPSS 18.0 program, and three-way ANOVA, simple interaction effects and simple main effects analysis were conducted. The results of this study are as follows: First, it was identified that the framing type of POP message of discount store, cognitive need for closure, and PB fashion product type had significant effect on preference and purchase intention. Secondly, it was identified that consumers with both high and low cognitive need for closure had high preference level and purchase intention when they encountered the benefit message framing than the loss message framing. Thirdly, the benefit message framing was more effective than the loss message framing for hedonic PB fashion products in discount stores, but utilitarian PB fashion products did not get affected by the message framing. Fourthly, it was identified that groups with both high and low cognitive need for closure preferred hedonic PB fashion products. Lastly, it was verified that benefit message framing POP advertisement on a group with high cognitive need for closure was effective for Hedonic PB fashion products in discount stores, and utilitarian PB fashion products showed no difference in purchase intention according to the POP message framing type and cognitive need for closure.

  • 인터넷의 가장 중요한 서비스 중의 하나인 저낮 메일 시스템으 swjd보 교환의 수단으로 널리 이용되고 있다. 그러나, 대부분의 기존 전자 메일 시스템은 7비트 코드를 지원하기 위하여 설계되었기 때문에 한글 메시지와 같은 8비트 코드를 전송하는데 문제점이 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 MIME, ISO-2022-KR과 같은 기법이 발표 되었지만 아직도 한글 메시지의 송수신에는 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 일반 사용자가 보다 편리하게 한글 메시지를 송수신할 수 있는 전자 메일 브라우저 모델을 제시한다. 제시한 모델의 기본 개념은 MIME만을 지원하는 POP3 클라이언트를 확장한 것으로써 8비트 한글 메시지를 ISO-2022-KR이나 Quoted-Printable 혹은 Base64로 인코딩하여 7비트로 전송한다. 제시한 모델의 타당성을 검토하기 위하여 전자 apdf 브라우저를 한글 Win95환경에서 구현하여 실험하였다.

Factors affecting fashion consumers' purchase decisions in nonprofit thrift stores (비영리 중고가게에서 패션제품 소비자의 구매 결정요인)

  • With the increasing popularity of nonprofit thrift shopping, new marketing strategies are needed to respond to accelerated competition in the secondhand market. To help guide the development of marketing strategies for nonprofit thrift stores, this study aims to identify factors impacting consumers' buying behavior for secondhand fashion items sold in nonprofit thrift stores. Specifically, this study investigated 1) the effects of secondhand fashion selection criteria (i.e., design, brand name, lower price) and personal factors (i.e., gender, household income, beliefs about environment) on the secondhand fashion consumption experience in nonprofit thrift stores and 2) the moderating effects of point of purchase (POP) messages (i.e., "50% Off Sale," "New Arrivals," "Helping Others") on the relationships between purchase intention and impulsive buying in nonprofit thrift stores. An online survey was used to collect the data, and a total of 197 usable responses were received. The results showed that 1) gender, household income, beliefs about environment, and brand name affected the secondhand fashion consumption experience and 2) the POP message "Helping Others" negatively moderated the relationship between purchase intention and impulsive buying in nonprofit thrift stores. These results can help nonprofit thrift stores' managers to develop effective marketing strategies to increase their profits, which can be used to accomplish their mission of addressing social issues.

  • The purpose of this study is to analysis the cognitive frame of the expert on musically talented in the Pop music audition program. Consequently, this article found that each expert has difference priority. Myself(PA), voice(YA), tune(YO) are used frequently. In comparison with standard frame, all experts refer to creative area in priority. But, they lack in motive area. Also, there are areas which don't treat in standard frame. And to conclude, pop music audition program has creative and personal characteristic. If not, it doesn't give prominence to differentiated messages and last in the global market. Based on the result of this study, this paper suggests the following: Firstly, it needs devices that support areas which fall short of selection. Secondly, it requires new frame which modifies the details of standard frame.

  • Due to the need for multilingual e-mail address, EAI Working Group of the IETF has created a wide range of standards associated with e-mail address internationalization(EAI) since 2006. One of the authors and colleagues designed and implemented the mail server, SMTPUTF8, that supports EAI RFC protocols. SMTPUTF8 mail server is composed of new SMTP and POP3 servers supporting EAI RFC protocols. However, SMTPUTF8 did not include a new IMAP server supporting EAI RFC protocol. Recently many people are using smart phones to read and send e-mail messages in a mobile environment. IMAP server is more useful than POP3 server in a mobile environment. Therefore, in this paper, the authors have designed and implemented IMAP server and client app that complies with the IMAP standard (RFC) published by EAI WG of IETF to support multilingual e-mail address. This IMAP server is added to the SMTPUTF8 mail server so that users can access e-mail messages via IMAP client app in a mobile environment.

  • 최근 Outlook Express나 유도라와 같은 메일 프로그램이 웹 브라우저를 이용하여 메일을 송수신 할 수 있는 웹 메일 서비스가 제공되면서 점진적으로 기존의 메일 서비스를 대체하고 있다. 기존 메일 시스템은 메시지 전송 에이전트(sendmail)의 보안상 허점 및 파일 잠금 현상, CGI방식의 과도한 오버헤드, POP3 프로토콜의 위치 투명성 지원 미비 등 여러 가지 문제점을 내포하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 메일 시스템의 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 PHP와 큐 메일, IMAP 프로토콜을 사용한 3-티어 구조의 웹 메일 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 구현된 시스템은 강화된 보안 기능과 안전한 메시지 수신을 보장하며 부하 분산을 통해 서버의 효율이 향상되었다.

A Study on the Speed of Message Output for Smooth Cummunication for Chat Platform between Idol and Fandom (팬덤과 아이돌의 상호 채팅 플랫폼에서 원활한 커뮤니케이션을 위한 메시지 출력 속도에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, I would like to conduct a study on the design of chat UX between fandom and idol. The 1:多 form of message exposure method between idols and fandom was studied and the optimal exposure form and speed were tested. Based on the results of the experiment, 30 sentences were selected per second among various options, and based on this, the results were applied to the actual Universe platform to facilitate communication between idols and fans.

Effects of Self-care Program Using SMS, E-mail, or Telephone Call on Self-care Compliance and Nutritional Status in Hemodialysis Patients (혈액투석환자에서 문자메시지(SMS), 이메일 및 전화를 이용한 자가간호 프로그램이 자가간호 이행과 영양 상태에 미치는 효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of self-care program using Short message service (SMS), e-mail, or telephone call on self-care compliance and nutritional status in maintenance of hemodialysis patient. Methods: Nonequivalent pretest-posttest control experimental design was used. Ninety-six patients were allocated to control (n=24), SMS (n=24), e-mail (n=24), or telephone (n=24) group from four hospitals. Experimental groups received self-care program about hemodialysis diet, drug administration, exercise, and fistula care by SMS, e-mail, or telephone call respectively at 3 times a week for 4 weeks. Results: Subjective self-care compliance, and objective self-care compliance including interdialytic weight of SMS and telephone groups were significantly increased than those of control groups. However, nutritional status of SMS and e-mail groups were significantly improved than those of control groups in albumin and protein level. Conclusion: Self-care program using SMS and telephone call were effective on promoting self-care compliance, while SMS and e-mail were effective on improving nutritional status. The pop-up remaining effect and easy accessible effect of SMS message in busy daily life was considered as an alarm to control fluid and diet.
