A Triple Nested PID Controller based on Sensor Fusion for Quadrotor Attitude Stabilization (쿼드로터 자세 안정화를 위한 센서융합 기반 3중 중첩 PID 제어기)

  • In this paper, we propose a triple nested PID control scheme for stable hovering of a quadrotor and propose a complementary filter based sensor fusion technique to improve the performance of attitude, altitude and velocity measurement. The triple nested controller has a structure in which a double nested attitude controller that has the angular velocity PD controller in inner loop and the angular PI controller in outer loop, is nested in a velocity control loop to enable stable hovering even in the case of disturbance. We also propose a sensor fusion technique by applying a complementary filter in order to reduce the noise and drift error included in the acceleration and gyro sensor and to measure the velocity by fusing image, gyro, and acceleration sensor. In order to verity the performance, we applied the proposed control and measurement scheme to hovering control of quadrotor.

  • Recently the control of induction motor for position control has been extensively studied. The representative method is PIDA controller proposed by Jung&Dorf. By designed PIDA controller' parameter had large value. Moreover, this method is very analyze, so that, not adapted controller parameter in disturbance. Besides using generalize fuzzy controller. Because input and output membership function is linguistic type, therefore system response is very slow. So, in this paper we used optimized fuzzy controller. Optimized fuzzy controller is output membership function is unity value. The controller performance was estimated applied to induction motor' position control.

  • 하드디스크의 고용량화 추세에 따라 헤드의 정밀한 위치제어를 위한 큰 대역폭의 트랙추적 서보 시스템의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이에 작은 신호의 마찰을 제거하고 대역폭을 높이는 방법 중 하나인 2단구동기 트랙추적제어를 실시하여 큰 대역폭의 트랙 추적 서보시스템을 구성하는 방법에 대해 연구하였다. 2단구동기는 조동구동기(기존 하드디스크의 VCM)와 전단형 압전체를 부착한 미동구동기로 구성하였다. 미동구동기의 Hinge구조는 트랙 방향의 공진 주파수와 출력변위를 만족시키기 위한 구조로 설계하였다. 제어기는 notch filter와 PI 보상기를 사용하는 조동구동기와 notch filter와 PD 보상기를 사용하는 미동구동기를 다양한 구조로 구성한 것들을 비교하였다. 2단구동기는 VCM만을 사용하여 트랙 추적을 할 때보다 트랙 편심을 잘 추적하며, 기계적 공진과 VCM의 비선형성에 의해 제한된 대역폭을 개선시키는 효율적인 방법임을 확인하였다.

  • BLDC motor is widely used in automation areas for its good maintenance and controllability. In this paper it is designed for a speed control servo system of sinusoidal typo BLDC motor that can be easily adapted to automation systems with lower cost. Also, control parameters & periods are made adjustable according to the sensors of the motor, electric and mechanical time constant, and PI and PD control are used. The processor for the proposed system is a low cost 16bit One-Chip microprocessor. By experimental results from application to the industrial sewing machine, one of the application of BLDC motor, it can be verified that under the given reference, the system is enough as a speed and position servo without overshoots.

  • 주파수 응답 분석기(Frequency Response Analyzer, FRA)는 수십 MHz 고주파수 범위까지 기기의 전달함수를 측정하여 변압기, 리액터 등과 같은 권선형 기기 내 기계적, 기하학적 변형을 진단하는 장치이다. 배전선로에 운영 중인 권선형 기기인 주상변압기는 현재 193만대(2015. 4 기준)가 현장에 설치되어 운전 중에 있다. 그러나 변압기의 상태진단은 권선저항 측정, 전압비 측정 등 기초적인 단계에 있으며 일부 PD 분석기법이 연구 중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 권선형 기기의 진단에 기 활용하고 있는 주파수 응답 분석기(FRA)의 측정원리를 바탕으로 주상 변압기에 적용하여 적용 가능성을 검토하였다.

  • DC series wound motor is commonly used for the industrial vehicles. Although it has good operating torque, heavy variations of parameters and nonlinear properties on friction and loads make it difficult to satisfy desired performance using conventional controllers. To solve this problem, fuzzy controller is proposed in this paper. The fuzzy controller has been designed based on the fuzziness of variables, it retains robustness even with nonlinearity.

  • This paper presents a data based low-order controller design algorithm for a linear time-invariant process with a time delay. The algorithm is composed by combining an identification step based on open loop pulse test with a low-order controller design step to obtain the entire set of controllers achieving multiple performance specifications. The initial information necessary for this algorithm are merely the width and amplitude of a rectangular pulse, a controller of four types (PI, PD, PID, first-order), and design objectives. Various parametric approaches that have been developed are merged in the controller design algorithm. The resulting controller set satisfying the design objectives are displayed on the 2D and 3D graphics and thus it is very easy for us to pick a controller inside the admissible set because we can check the corresponding closed-loop performances visually.

  • In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy logic controller is presented for auto-tunning of the scaling factors by using learning capability of neural networks. The proposed scheme consists of the FLC which includes the PI-type FLC and PD-type FLC in parallel form and the neural network which learns scale factors of FLC. Computer simulations were performed to illustrate the effectiveness of a proposed scheme. A proposed FLC controller was applied to the second order system and velocity control of the brushless DC motors. For the design of the FLC, tracking error, change of error, and acceleration error are selected as input variables of the FLC and three seal e factors were used in the parallel-type FLC. This scheme can be used to reduce the difficulty in the selection of the scale factors.

  • This study presents a genetic algorithm-based method fur optimizing control parameters in the pressure control of electro-hydraulic pump with variable displacement. Genetic algorithms are general-purpose optimization methods based on natural evolution and genetics and search the optimal control parameters maximizing a measure that evaluates the performance of a system. Four control gains of the PI-PD cascade controller for an electro-hydraulic pressure control system are optimized using a genetic algorithm in the experiment. Optimized gains are confirmed by inspecting the fitness distribution which represents system performance in gain spaces. It is shown that genetic algorithm is an efficient scheme in optimizing control parameters of the pressure control of electro-hydraulic pump with variable displacement.
