퍼지로직 과열도 재설정 알고리즘을 사용한 멀티형 냉방시스템의 전자팽창밸브 제어 (The EEV Control of the Multi-type Air-conditioning System by using a Fuzzy Logic Superheat Temperature Setpoint Reset Algorithm)

  • Refrigerant flow rates of the multi-type air-conditioning system can be regulated by electronic expansion valves (EEV). The performance of the multi-type air-conditioning system may be improved by lowering the superheat at the compressor suction side. In this study, a superheat temperature setpoint reset algorithm was developed by using fuzzy logics, and a PI algorithm was applied to control the superheat temperature near setpoints. Experimental results showed energy savings and stable operations at a multi-type air-conditioning system. Therefore, the developed setpoint reset algorithm may be effectively used for the EEV superheat temperature control of the multi-type air-conditioning system.

  • The hybrid positon/force control is required when two or more robots perform a coorperative task in a uncertain environment, or when single robot does a task with a constant force to the environment. In this paper, a new control algorithm which control simultaneously the position and the force are proposed, however, especially the conventional position controller employed in the present robot control is used. Moreover, in order to improve the output response characteristics of the system, the PI gains which were computed from the PI gain tunning techniques, are varied based on the results of the Fuzzy algorithm.

  • 유전자 알고리즘은 지금까지의 방법으로써는 해결이 곤란한 문제에 대해서 실용상의 최적해를 랜덤하고 빠르게 찾는 방법으로서 사용되어 왔으며, 종래의 검색 알고리즘과 달리 검색 공간 중 하나의 점뿐만 아니라 많은 점을 동시에 고려하기 때문에 국부 최소점(local minima)점에 수렴되는 현상을 극복할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 목적 함수에 연속미분조건이 없으며 다수의 변수들을 하나의 문자열로 부호화(coding)함으로써 병렬연산 및 동시최적화가 가능한 유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 PI제어기를 교류서보전동기에 적용하여 작업환경변화에 능동적으로 대응하는 제어방법을 제안하였으며 산업현장에서의 로보트 액추에이터 등의 응용과 정밀제어를 실현하기 위한 교류서보전동기의 드라이버에 적용할 수 있는 제어기를 구현하고자 한다.

  • This paper proposes a fuzzy proportional-Integral (PI) controller for the precise tracking control of optical disk systems based on the genetic algorithm (GA). The fuzzy PI control rules are optimized by the GA to yield an optimal fuzzy PI controller. We validate the feasibility of the proposed method through a numerical simulation.

  • Nowadays, as the availability of tiny, low-cost microcomputer increases at a high level, mobile robots are experiencing remarkable enhancements in hardware design, software performance, and connectivity advancements. In order to control Turtlebot 2, several algorithms have been developed using the Robot Operating System(ROS). However, ROS requires to be run on a high-cost computer which increases the hardware cost and the power consumption to the robot. Therefore, design an algorithm based on low-cost hardware is the most innovative way to reduce the unnecessary costs of the hardware, to increase the performance, and to decrease the power consumed by the computer on the robot. In this paper, we present a path-finding algorithm for TurtleBot 2 based on low-cost hardware. We implemented the algorithm using Raspberry pi, Windows 10 IoT core, and RPLIDAR A2. Firstly, we used Raspberry pi as the alternative to the computer employed to handle ROS and to control the robot. Raspberry pi has the advantages of reducing the hardware cost and the energy consumed by the computer on the robot. Secondly, using RPLIDAR A2 and Windows 10 IoT core which is running on Raspberry pi, we implemented the path-finding algorithm which allows TurtleBot 2 to navigate from the starting point to the destination using the map of the area. In addition, we used C# and Universal Windows Platform to implement the proposed algorithm.

  • This paper deals with a fault detection algorithm for linear descriptor systems via unknown input PI observer. An unknown input PI observer is presented and its realization conditions is proposed by using the rank condition of system matrices. From the characteristics of unknown input PI observer, the states of system with unknown inputs are estimated and the occurrences of fault are detected, and its magnitudes are estimated easily by using integrated output estimation error under the step faults. Finally, a numerical example is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed fault detection algorithm.

GA를 이용한 오일쿨러시스템의 최적 PI제어기 설계 (Optimum PI Controller Design for an Oil Cooler System Using GA)

  • This paper deals with optimum PI controller design using genetic algorithm to improve control performance and robustness for an oil cooler system. The optimum PI gain was found to minimize an object function, integrated absolute error, and to satisfy control design specifications such as overshoot and settling time based on practical transfer function of the oil cooler system. The control performance and robustness were investigated by comparing indicial responses and Bode diagram analysis with respect to three kinds of PI gains obtained from different gain decision manners. Moreover, the robustness against to input disturbances, sinusoidal wave form and abrupt single pulse, was evaluated. The computer simulation results showed that the suggested optimum gain can establish desirable control performance and strong robustness with easy design process.

진화전략에 의한 PI제어기의 스폿용접기에 관한 연구 (A Study on Spot Welder of PI Controller Using Evolution Strategy)

  • PI(proportional-integral) controller has been extensively used in the industrial field. But in practicle case, it is difficult to tune PI gains. Evolution Strategy(ES) is used as an effective search algorithm in optimization programs. In this paper we proposed a PI controller for Spot welder system using ES with varying search space. ES with varying search space which depends on fitness values at each generation is used to tune PI control parameters. Simulation results show the proposed algorithm has accurate and robust performance with effective search ability.

  • This paper proposes the design of PI controller using real-coding genetic algorithm showing a good performance on convergence velocity and diversity of population among evolutionary computations. To evaluate the proposed method's effectiveness, we apply the proposed GA-PI controller to the speed control of an actual DC servomotor system. The experimental results show that GA-PI controller has the better control performance than PI controller in terms of settling time rising time and overshoot.
