약계자 영역에서 전동기 상수변동에 둔감한 SPMSM의 새로운 약계자 제어기 (A New Robust SPMSM Control to Parameter Variations in Flux Weakening Region)

  • A new implementation strategy for the flux weakening control of a Surface Mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (SPMSM) is proposed. It is implemented based on the output of the synchronous PI current regulator-reference voltage to PWM inverter. The onset of flux weakening and the level of the d-axis current are adjusted by the outer voltage regulation loop to prevent the saturation of the current regulator. The characteristics of this flux weakening scheme include no dependency on the machine parameters, the guarantee of current regulation on any operating condition, and fast transition into and out of the flux weakening mode. Experimental results at various operating conditions including 4-quadrant operation are presented to verify the feasibility of the proposed control scheme.

  • Fuzzy theory is recently finding wide popularity in various applications that include management, economics, medicine and process control system. This paper describes application of fuzzy logic in a current control system that use a inverter welding machine. The Fuzzy control is then extended to the current loop control, replacing the conventional proportional-integral(PI) control methods. The fuzzy control algorithms have been developed in detail and verified by experiments of a inverter welding system. The experimentation study indicates the superiority of fuzzy control over the I control methods. Fuzzy control seems to have a lot of promise in the applications of welding process control system.

  • In this paper, four quadrant CBPS(Compact Bipolar Power Supply) which development and study using universal PWM controller. The CBPS has 24V DC-link voltage, +/-5A output current, 50kHz switching frequency and 30Hz full load bandwidth using FET device. Proposed system has two independent PWM controllers for each full-bridge switch leg drive and PI control loops for current regulations. It is shown experimental results that good step response of the current output.

  • In this paper, a new current based maximum power point tracking (CMPPT) method is proposed for a single phase photovoltaic power conditioning system and the current based MPPT modifies incremental conductance method. The current based MPPT method makes the entire control structure of the power conditioning system simple and uses an inherent current source characteristic of solar cell array. In addition, digital phase locked loop using an all pass filter is introduced to detect phase of grid voltage as well as peak voltage. Controllers about dc/dc boost converter, dc-link voltage, dc/ac inverter is designed for a coordinated operation. Furthermore, PI current control using a pseudo synchronous d-q transformation is employed for grid current control with unity power factor. 3kW prototype photovoltaic power conditioning system is built and its experimental results are given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control schemes.

  • The SRM can be operated on the high speed range in which the back-emf is greater than the DC link voltage. However, the phase current of the SRM should be controlled through the selection of an exciting angle since it can not be controlled by a chop of the DC link voltage in the high speed range. In this paper, a PI and a bang-bang controller are employed in order to control the speed of the SRM and the leading angle of the SRM is adapted as a control input. The performances of two controllers are evaluated by computer simulation. The results show that the bang-bang controller is more attractive than the PI controller in the cost and performance aspects.

  • This paper presents a study on fuzzy speed and flux controller used in a vector control of a CRPWM(Current Ragulated PWM) induction motor drive. In this paper, an approach for an easier design of the fuzzy controller is presented in order to obtain the desired value for the response time with minimal overshoot and to improve the steady state performance for speed step commands. The fuzzy controller is constructed only upon the knowledge of the motor behaviour and the desired speed response, and provides fast and robust control by reducing the effects of nonlinearities, parameter changes and load disturbance. The results of applying the fuzzy logic controller to an IM drive system are compared with those obtained by application of a conventional PI controller. The fuzzy controller provided a better response than the PI controller.

  • The DC motor has the strong characteristics in the speed response, the system parameter variations and the external influence and is used as the speed controller with its good starting torque in the distributing industry. However development of the Microprocessor which is for high speed switching program can make better control system. This paper introduce to design of the high-effective DC motor controller that is using Software Bang-Bang Program of Fuzzy algorithm and to verify a PI controller and a Fuzzy controller.

  • Output voltage waves of a DC/AC inverter system are likely to be distorted if variable loads e.g. motors or rectifiers exist in the output terminal. This paper designs a disturbance observer-based PI controller for a single-phase inverter system that is robust against load changes. In this paper, we regard the output voltage changes due to various loads as disturbances of the control system, Then we design a disturbance observer for estimation of the disturbances caused by the load current and any other error sources (such as parameter uncertainties and model mismatches etc.). In order to test the performance of the proposed control law, simulation studies are carried out for a single-phase inverter system using SimPowerSystems of Matlab Simulink. Compared to a simple PI control, the disturbance observer-based controller shows enhanced performance in transient responses for step load changes.

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop the straightforward design guidelines of PD/PID speed controller for Industry servo drives with plug and play concept. The controller gains are uniquely determined from the current control loop dynamics, speed loop delay, and mechanical parameters. In order to eliminate the mechanical friction uncertainties, an automatic PD/PI control mode switching algorithm Is introduced using online spectrum analysis of motor torque command. The dynamic performance of the proposed scheme assures a fast tracking response curve with minimal oscillation and settling time over the whole operating conditions. For comprehensive comparison of conventional PI control scheme, extensive test is carried out on actual servo system.

  • In this paper, a simulation model for 7-phase BLDC motor drives for an Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV) is proposed. A 7-phase BLDC motor is designed and the electrical characteristics are analyzed using FEA program and the power electronics drives for the 7-phase BLDC motor are theoretically analyzed and the actual implementation has been accomplished using Matlab Simulink. PI controller and fuzzy controller are compared for verifying the validity of the proposed model and the informative results are described in detail. Especially A fuzzy controller is used to characterize 7-phase BLDC motor, drive systems under normal and fault operating conditions.
