Design of a Neural Network PI Controller for F/M of Heavy Water Reactor Actuator Pressure (신경회로망과 PI제어기를 이용한 중수로 핵연료 교체 로봇의 구동압력 제어)

  • Look into the nuclear power plant of Wolsong currently, it is controlled in order to required operating pressure with PI controller. PI controller has a simple structure and satisfy design requirements to gain setting. However, It is difficult to control without changing the gain from produce changes in parameters such as loss of the valves and the pipes. To solve these problems, the dynamic change of the PI controller gain, or to compensate for the PI controller output is desirable to configure the controller. The aim of this research and development in the parameter variations can be controlled to a stable controller design which is reduced an error and a vibration. Proposed PI/NN control techniques is the PI controller and the neural network controller that combines a parallel and the neural network controller part is compensated output of the controller for changes in the parameters were designed to be robust. To directly evaluate the controller performance can be difficult to test in real processes to reflect the characteristics of the process. Therefore, we develope the simulator model using the real process data and simulation results when compared with the simulated process characteristics that showed changes in the parameters. As a result the PI/NN controller error and was confirmed to reduce vibrations.

  • In this paper, we designed a current controlling servo system for speed control of a PMSM. In existing auto-tuning methods for PI controller parameters, the output response is delayed and the overshoot is generated. By solving these existing problems in this paper, a new PI auto-tuning method is applied to the speed controller for fast-response and reduced overshoot. PMSM servo systems offer a great advantage in unmanned factories where a great number of servo motors are employed, because of its easy maintenance characteristics and controllability. The implemented servo system is composed of absolute position detecting circuits of a rotor, a new auto-tuning PI control algorithm, a speed controller by using DSP, and power driving section. The proposed servo system is verified for it's practical availability by considering experimental results.

  • 제어 대상이 다양해지고, 제어 변수도 다양해짐에 따라 기존의 PID 제어 시스템으로는 설계자가 원하는 응답 특성을 이끌어내기 어려워지고 있다. 제어 대상의 복잡도가 증가함에 따라 제어 대상에 대한 사용자의 숙련도 또한 제어 품질의 중요 변수이다. 사람의 경험을 제어에 체계적으로 반영하려는 시도 중에 하나가 퍼지이론의 제어 적용이며, 본 논문에서는 간단한 퍼지 제어 시스템을 구현하여 모터 제어에 활용가능성을 확인하고자 한다. 매트랩을 이용한 모의 실험을 통해, 쿼드콥터의 모터에 대하여 PID 제어와 Fuzzy 제어를 적용시켜 그 성능을 비교 및 분석하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 IPMSM의 약자속 제어 영역에서 토크제어를 하기위한 전류제어기를 PI-IP 혼합제어기로 구성하였다. 약자속 제어 영역에서 토크제어 시 d축과 q축의 인덕턴스 차이로 인해 전류제어 응답의 차이가 발생하여 전압여유분 확보에 문제점이 발생한다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하고자 PI-IP 혼합제어기를 적용하여 약자속 영역에서의 d축과 q축의 전류 제어기의 응답특성을 달리하여 토크제어 시 과도상태에서 발생하는 문제점을 개선하였다.

  • This paper suggests fuzzy-PI controllers for a heavy-duty gas turbine. The fuzzy-PI controllers are designed to regulate rotor speed and exhaust temperature of the gas turbine. The controller gains are tuned by genetic algorithm(GA). This paper also proposes a new fitness function of GA using a desired output response. The suggested controller is compared with previous controllers via simulations and it is shown that the rotor speed variation of our controller is smaller than those of previous ones.

  • This paper proposes new position control method for DC servo motor by PI controller adopting sliding mode control. By adding sliding mode controller to conventional PI controller good robustness is obtained with good transient response and no steady state error which are merits in PI controller. In order to use microprocessor for digital control the principles of sliding mode control conventionally explained in continous-time system are extended to discrete-time system.

  • This paper presents derived a calculating form of fuzzy inference, based on decomposition of $\alpha$-level sets. Based on the calculating form it is propose that fuzzy logic circuits of PI+PD controller are a body from fuzzy inference to defuzzificaion in cases where the command variable u directly is generated PWM. The effect of quantization on $\alpha$-levels is investigated. with input/out characteristics of fuzzy controller by simulation. It is concluded that 4 quantization levels are sufficient result for fuzzy control performance of DC servo system. Simulation and experimental results demonstrated that the hardware implementation of the proposed controller can successfully provide good performance on the position control of DC servo system.

  • PID control systems are significantly utilized in industrial fields because of its multiple advantages. Many researches about more effective PID controllers to enhance control system performances have been addressed so far. This paper proposes a novel PI-PD control system with a pre-compensator which is configured with a pre-compensator and PD controller in PIcontrol system. The normal method is applied to the proposed control system for obtaining a simple first-order controller from cancelation of poles and zeros. We design a pre-compensator and PD controller by using parameters of PI controller and the transfer function of a plant. Computer simulation is carried out to demonstrate effectiveness of the proposed control system.

  • The dynamics of mobile robot is nonlinear. To cope with this nonlinearity, many advanced control schemes have been proposed recently. Generally, the advanced control schemes are complicated and not good for the practical real-time control when they are implemented as control programs. So, in this paper, a relatively simple PI controller is proposed and applied to the position control of mobile robot with the adoption of reference trajectory calculation method used for the AUV(Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) control. The proposed PI controller is programmed using LabVIEW which is popular for its graphical programming characteristics. The simulation and experimental results show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed PI controller.

  • In this paper we propose a turbojet engine controller of unmanned aircraft based on the Fuzzy-PI algorithm. To prevent any surge or a flame out event during the engine acceleration or deceleration, the PI-type fuzzy controller effectively controls the fuel flow input of the control system. The fuzzy inference rule made by the logarithm function of acceleration error improves the tracking error. Computer simulations applied to the linear model of a turbojet engine show that the proposed method has good tracking performance for the reference acceleration and deceleration commands.
