This study implemented a remote control system using PDA based on WINDOWS CE. NET. In existing remote control systems, the user generally controls remote objects and obtain data using a computer, which is a local system connected to the internet, and the remote objects are connected to server computers. In order to control remote objects, the user has to have a computer, a space to use the Internet, and wired internet. The system proposed in this study uses an embedded board as a server and PDA as a client. Thus, the user can control remote objects at any place as long as wireless internet is available. In addition, because an embedded board is used as a server, the system has the characteristics of high performance and low power consumption. The proposed system provides not only remote control environment using PDA but also conventional control environment using a computer as a client. In case PDA is not available, remote objects still can be controlled from any place as long as there are wired internet and a computer.

본 논문에서는 이러한 무선 인터넷에 대한 관련 기술을 이용하여 은행 업무에 적용 할 수 있는 모바일 뱅킹 시스템을 소개하고자 한다. 특히 무선 인터넷 환경에서의 실제적으로 응용 가능한 PDA 뱅킹 시스템의 최적 솔루션 모듈을 설계하였다. 본 논문에서는 무선 인터넷 기술, 공개키 기반 보안 기술, PDA 기술에 언급하고 이들 세 가지 기술을 접목하여 실질적으로 뱅킹 업무에 사용 할 수 있게 객체 지향 설계 방법과 소스를 분석하여 PDA 뱅킹 시스템에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.

본 연구에서는 현장에서의 유량측정 전 과정과 내업에서의 자료 검토 및 관리 등 일련의 유량측정 과정을 일관성 있고 편리하게 수행할 수 있도록 하는 유량측정 보조 장비인 PDA 시스템을 개발하였다. PDA는 방수가 가능하고, 휴대 가능한 소형이며, 계산, 자료 관리 및 전송 기능을 가지고 있으므로 이를 이용하여 유량측정 전 과정을 수행할 수 있으며, 이의 현장 활용을 통해 현장의 유량측정 정확도를 크게 개선시킬 수 있다. 더불어, 무선 전송된 현장 유량측정 결과를 원격지에서 수신하여 그 정확도를 재검토할 수 있도록 일반 PC용 유량 산정 및 검토용 시스템을 볕도 구축하였다. 개발된 PDA 시스템은 각종 유량측정 용역사업을 수행하는 용역업체 및 대학 등에서 유량측정 및 현장 평가, 보고 및 자료 관리 등에 직접 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대되려, 유랑측정용 PDA 시스템의 사용을 통해 일관성 있고 충실한 유량측정자료를 지속적으로 확보한 다면, 이후 신뢰성 있는 유량자료를 확보하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

최근 모바일 컴퓨팅 기술이 발전되면서, PDA 등과 같은 소형 컴퓨팅 장치가 빠른 속도로 보급되고 있다. PDA는 이동전화나 무선 LAN 등을 통해서 다른 PDA 또는 일반 컴퓨터에 접속해서 메일 수신, 인터넷, 채팅 등에 사용되고 있다. 우리는 PDA간 또는 PDA와 데스크탑 컴퓨터간의 음성통신 기능을 제공하는 음성 전화 시스템을 개발하였다. 본 논문은 우리가 개발한 음성 전화 시스템의 기능, 구조, 구현을 소개한다. 우리의 음성 전화 시스템은 Windows CE 환경 하에서 동작하고 H.323을 지원하도록 설계되어있다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 음성통신을 위한 송, 수신 버퍼 사용의 효율적인 방법을 제안한다. 우리의 조사에 의하면, Windows CE 기반의 음성전화시스템에 대한 기존 연구가 거의 발표되지 않았다.

A nonlinear control algorithm for the depth control of underwater vehicles is presented. In order to consider the deadzone effect of the flow control valve, a nonlinear fuzzy logic controller (FLC) is synthesized and combined with a linear proportional-derivative-acceleration (PDA) controller, which is called, the PDA/FLC controller. And, to show the effectiveness of the PDA/FLC control system, it is compared with the linear PDA control system through computer simulation. It is found that the PDA/FLC control scheme is a suitable one to maintain the desirable depth of underwater vehicles with deadzone.

PDA에서 사용하는 대부분의 CPU는 실수 연산 구성요소(float computation component)가 없는 정수(integer) CPU를 사용한다. 인공 신경망(neural network)과 같은 실수 연산이 많은 알고리즘은 PDA에서 많은 수행시간을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 이런 단점을 해결하기 위해 무선 랜(LAN)으로 연결된 Client(PDA)/Server(PC) 구조를 이용한 효과적인 문자 추출 시스템을 제안한다. Client(PDA)는 대략적인 문자 추출 결과를 JPEG으로 압축하여 전송속도를 최소화한다. Server(PC)는 Client(PDA)의 결과를 바탕으로 정밀한 문자 영역 추출을 위해, 텍스춰 분류 방법과 연결 성분 분석 방법을 이용한다. 실험에서 제안한 방법은 속도뿐만 아니라 문자 추출에서도 효과적이었다.

This paper describes a design and implementation of diabetes management system based on PDA in the wireless Internet. Our system is a 3-Tier Client/Server model with client, server, middleware, and DB. The client has each PDA for patients and for doctors related to diabetics. The one is used for patients to manage this disease by themselves with, and the other is used for the doctors to monitoring the patients' data with. The server receive the daily data measured by the patients through wireless network, middleware mediate between an client(PDA) and server. As the result of implementation of the system, we expected that it manages to diabetic patients continually and systematically.

모바일 장비의 발달로 인하여 무선 통신 기술을 이용한 서비스들이 증가하고 있으며 차량위치 추적 서비스 분야에서도 PDA와 같은 모바일 장비를 사용한 차량 위치 모니터링 서비스가 요구되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 PDA를 이용하여 실시간으로 차량의 위치를 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다. 시스템은 차량의 위치 정보를 저자 관리하는 차량 위치 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다. 시스템은 차량의 위치 정보를 저장 관리하는 차량 위치 모니터링 서버와 차량의 위치관련 정보를 제공하는 PDA 클라이언트로 구성하였다. 구현된 시스템은 PDA 클라이언트를 이용하여 실시간으로 이동 차량의 시간 및 구간별 위치정보 검색과 시점 위치정보 검색이 가능하다.

The developed system is captured by RS-232 telecommunication receiving data (temperature and humidity of each incubator) through radio frequency sensor network system and is made by monitoring system for one person collecting each channel data. This monitoring system is capable of monitoring not only PDA through TCP/IP telecommunication but also personal computer. This system is actively application on telecommunication function of LabVIEW and PDA module and is considerably saved in processing time than using in other tools.

간호사 정보 시스템은 간호사들이 사용하던 기존의 차트 대신에 PDA를 사용하여 의료 정보 데이터의 입력과 조회를 장소와 시간에 구애됨이 없이 항상 가능하게 하며, 위급한 상황이나 바른 임상판단을 요하는 상황의 발생이 빈번한 병원 환경에서 신속한 임상적 의사결정을 도모하기 위해 설계 구현된 시스템이다. 간호사 정보 시스템의 구성요소는 휴대형 정보단말기를 지원하는 이동지원시스템(MSS), 병원정보시스템으로 구성되며 이들의 원활한 연동과 정보 공유를 위해서는 간호사를 위해 특화된 데이터베이스 스키마와 이질적인 스키마간의 동기화 작업을 수행하는 싱크 모듈이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 간호사 요구사항을 중심으로 MSS와 PDA의 데이터베이스 스키마를 설계하고 구현하였으며 또한, PDA와 MSS의 데이터 동기화 시 PDA와 MSS의 스키마 불일치 때문에 발생하는 복제와 동기화의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 싱크 모듈을 구현하였다.
