Supplement of high-protein food plays an important role in improving the symptoms of malnutrition and the immune capacity of the body, but the association of high-protein diet and gut microbiota remained unaddressed. Here, we systematically analyzed the internal organs and gut microbiota in C57(WT) or PD-1H-depleted (KO) mice (T cells were activated) fed with pupae or feed for six weeks. We observed that the body weight gain in the mice fed with pupae increased less significantly than that of the feed group, while the villi and small intestine lengths in the pupa group were reduced compared with that of mice given feed. However, the average body weight of the KO mice increased compared with that of the WT mice fed with pupae or feed. Pupae increased the concentration of blood glucose in WT, but not in KO mice. Moreover, in the feed group, there was no difference in the weight of the internal organs between the WT and KO mice, but in the pupae-fed group, liver weight was decreased and spleen weight was increased compared with that of KO mice. The amounts/plural/amounts of Melainabacteria, Chloroflexi, and Armatimonadetes were specifically upregulated by pupae, and this upregulation was weakened or eliminated by PD-1H depletion. Some bacteria with high abundance in the feed-fed KO mice, such as Deferribacteres, Melainabacteria, Acidobacteria, Bacteroidetes, Spirochaetes and Verrucomicrobia, were decreased in pupae-fed KO mice, and Proteobacteria and Deinococcus were specifically enriched in pupae-fed KO mice. Bacteroidetes, Firmicutes and Akkermansia were associated with weight loss in the pupae-fed group while Lachnospiraceae and Anaerobiospirillum were related glucose metabolism and energy consumption. Based on high-throughput sequencing, we discovered that some gut bacteria specifically regulated the metabolism of a high-protein diet, and PD-1H deficiency improved life quality and sustained blood glucose. Moreover, PD-1H responses to high-protein diet through modulating the type and quantity of gut bacteria. These findings provide evidence about the association among gut microbiota, T cell activation (for PD-1H depletion) and high-protein diet metabolism, have important theoretical significance for nutrition and health research.

Objective : Diffuse astrocytic tumour (DAT) is a diffuse infiltrative astrocytoma tumour accompanied by molecular parameters such as the presence or absence of isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) gene mutations. Ki-67 is a marker for DAT proliferation, while programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1) indicates an immune evasion mechanism. This study aimed to analyze the correlation among mutant IDH1 R132H, Ki-67, and PD-L1 immunoexpression in the DAT. Methods : A cross-sectional study was carried out on 30 paraffin blocks of DAT cases. Paraffin block samples consist of grade II (n=14), grade III (n=8), and grade IV (n=8). In this study, the immunohistochemistry-staining of mutant IDH1 R132H, Ki-67, and PD-L1 were carried out to determine the frequency of DAT with IDH1 mutations. Results : Our study shown the frequency of IDH1 mutations in grade II 50.0% (7/14), grade III 37.5% (3/8), and grade IV 12.5% (1/8). Our study also showed a difference in Ki-67 and PD-L1 expression between each the degree of DAT histopathology (p=0.0001 and p=0.002, respectively). There was an association between both mutant IDH1 R132H, and Ki-67 with PD-L1 expression in DAT (p=0.0087 and p=0.0049, respectively). Conclusion : DAT with the mutant IDH1 is frequently observed in grade II and small number of grade III. The expression of wild type IDH1, Ki-67, and PD-L1 were found to be higher in high grade DAT (grade III and grade IV). There is a correlation between each of mutant IDH1 status and Ki-67 with PD-L1 expression in DAT.
The electrophilic and nucleophilic reactions of M(S-S,ph)(N-N,H) (M = Ni(II), Pd(II), Pt(II); (S-S,ph) = 1,2-diphenylethylenedithiolate; (N-N,H)=1,10-phenanthroline) complexes have been investigated. Reaction with norbornadiene depended upon the back donating ability of the central metal ion and produced 2,5-dithia-3,4-diphenyl-tricyclo[4,4,1,0]-undeca-3,8-diene. In the reaction with methyl iodide, the effect of cleavage of (N-N,H) ligand affected the yield of methylated $M(S-S,ph)_2$ product. The structure of the thermolysis product, ${\alpha},{\alpha}{\prime}$-bismethylthiostibene $(CH_3S-SCH_3,ph)$ of methylated complexes indicates that the main product of the nucleophilic reaction is $M(CH_3S-SCH_3,ph)(S-S,ph)$. We have synthesized a new mixed-ligand complex M(S-S,CN)(N-N,H)((S-S,CN) = 1,2-dicyanoethylenedithiolate) through the nucleophilic reaction of ligand.
Bimetallic Pd@Ni nanostructure exhibited enhanced co-catalytic activity for the selective hydrogenation of benzaldehyde compare to their monometallic counterparts. Impregnation of these mono/bimetallic nanostructures on mesoporous $TiO_2$ leads to several surface modifications. The bimetallic PNT-3 ($Pd_3@Ni_1/mTiO_2$) exhibited large surface area ($212m^2g^{-1}$), and low recombination rate of the charge carriers ($e^--h^+$). The hydrogenation reaction was analyzed under controlled experiments. It was observed that under UV-light irradiations and saturated hydrogen atmosphere the bimetallic PNT-3 photocatalyst display higher rate constant $k=5.31{\times}10^{-1}h^{-1}$ owing to reduction in the barrier height which leads to efficiently transfer of electron at bimetallic/$mTiO_2$ interface.
Perpendicular magnetization curves and crystal textures of $[Pd(0.8 nm)/Co(0.8 nm)]_5/FeMn$ multilayers having an exchange-biased perpendicular magnetic anisotropy as a function of FeMn thickness and annealing temperature were measured. As FeMn thickness increases from 0 to 21 nm, the perpendicular exchange biasing field ($H_{ex}$) obtained the maximum value of 130 Oe at FeMn thickness 12 nm. As the annealing temperature increases to $240^{\circ}C$, the Hex increased from 115 Oe to 190 Oe and the exchange-biased perpendicular magnetic anisotropy disappeared at $330^{\circ}C$.

Liquid Chromatographic behavior of Pd(II) in Isonitosoethylacetoacetate imine IEAA-NR: R=H, CH3, C2H5, n-C3H7, n-C4H9, C6H5-CH2) Chelates were investigated by reversed phase high performance 1iquid chromatography on Micropak MCH-5 Column using Methanol /water as mobile phase. The optimum condition for the separation of Pd-Isonitrosoethylacetoacetate imine chelates were examined with respect to the flow rate, mobile phase strength. It was found that Pd(IEAA-NR)2 chelates were eluted in an acceptable range of the capacity factor value (0 $\leq$ log k' $\leq$ 1), The dependence of the logarithm of capacity factor(k') on the volume fraction of water in mixture with in the binary mobile phase was examined. Also, the dependence of k'on the liquid-liquid extraction distribution constant in methanol-water / n-alkane extraction system was on system was invert tigated for Pd(IEAA-NR)2. Both kinds of dependence are linear, which suggests that the retention of the electroneutral metal chelates be largely due to the solvophobic effect.

Thermally evaporated Pd films on substrate were hydrogenated upto 1 bar of hydrogen gas at room temperature. Temperature dependence hange of electrical resistivity on Pd films is examined in the thickness range between $60{\AA}$ and $990{\AA}$. Resistivity of Pd is fitted well with Bloch-$Gr{\ddot{u}}neisen$ formula. Debye temperatures of Pd films are about 254 K, which are 20 K lower than that of bulk Pd. Debye temperature is not sensitive to film thickness change. Temperature of substrate during evaporation changes temperature dependence of resistivity of films much. Optical phonon contribution increases with decreasing temperature of PdHx.
A novel potential linking ligand (4-nitro-benzylidene)-(3-nitro-phenyl)-amine (1) was prepared from 4-nitrobenzaldehyde and 3-nitroaniline by the Schiff-base condensation. From the reaction between 1 and dichlorobis(benzonitrile)palladium (II) $(PdCl_2(NCPh)_2)$, an unexpected product $trans-PdCl_2(NO_2-C_6H_4-NH_2)_2$ (2) was isolated. Compounds 1 and 2 were structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction. In compound 2, the $NH_2$ hydrogen atoms in the 3-nitroaniline ligand participate in intermolecular N-H${\cdot}\;{\cdot}\;{\cdot}\;$Cl hydrogen bonds.

Several transition metal complexes, [$M(L)X_2$](M=Pd(II), Ni(II); X=CI, Br) are prepared with aminophosphine ligands such as 1,2-bis{(diphenylphosphino)amino}ethane{$Ph_2PNHCH_2CH_2NHPPh_2$}($L_1$), 1,2-bis{(diphenylphosphino)amino}propane{$Ph_2PNHCH(CH_3)CH_2NHPPh_2$}($L_2$), trans-1,2-bis{(diphenylphosphino)amino}cyclohexane{$Ph_2PNHC_6H_{10}NHPPh_2$}($L_3$) and 1,2-bis{(diphenylphosphino)amino}benzene{$Ph_2PNHC_6H_4NHPPh_2$}($L_4$). The properties of these complexes are characterized by optical spectroscopic methods including UV/vis spectroscopy, CD, IR, $^1H$- and $^{31}P-NMR$ together with conductometer and elemental analysis. All complexes are stable under atmospheric environment. Catalytic reactivity for C-C coupling between [$M(L)X_2$] and Grignard reagents(RMgX; R=phenyl, propyl, buthyl) by thermolysis were investigated utilizing GC/mass, $^1H$- and $^{13}C-NMR$. When mol scale is 1:20 at [$Pd(L)Cl_2$] and Grignard reagents, the high catalytic activity for C-C coupling is apparent. The [$M(L)X_2$](X=Cl, Br) complexes which have strong bond at M-P exhibit high yields for C-C coupling reactions. When the central metal ion is Pd(II), the high catalytic activity for C-C coupling is apparent. The complex coordinated with Br shows higher catalytic activity for C-C coupling reactions compared to Cl.
This study was carried out to investigate the changes of ginsenosides composition in Korean red ginseng water extract (RGWE) after heated with high temperatures above $100^{\circ}C$. RGWEs were adjusted with pH 3.0, pH 7.0 and pH 10.0, respectively, and then heated at 100,110 and $120^{\circ}C$ for 30 minutes by using autoclave. Total ginsenosides of RGWE treated with heating showed decreasing tendency when compared with control. By TLC analysis, decreasing effect of ginsenosides in RGWE were significantly observed in the acidic condition of pH 3.0, particulary. By HPLC analysis, total ginsenoside of control showed 1.89%, while those of RGWE treated with 100, 110 and $120^{\circ}C$ showed 1.22, 1.05 and 0.97%, respectively. The ratio of protopanaxadiol (PD) to protopanaxatriol (Pr) saponins in control was 1.89, while that of PD/PT in treated RGWEs were level of 1.33 to 1.47. By the result of decreased ratio of PD/PT in RGWE, it was considered that PD type saponin such as ginsenoside$-Rb_{1}$, $-Rb_{1}$, -Rc and -Rd was more unstable than PT type saponin such as ginsenoside-Re and Rg against high temperature heating above $100^{\circ}C$.
