부분방전 신호 분석을 위한 퍼지 알고리즘 적용 및 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the PD Signal Analysis with Applied Fuzzy Algorithm)

  • In this paper, we have studied for analysis of the partial discharge(PD) signal in underground transmission line. The PD signal has estimated as detected signal accumulation of a PRPDA method by using Labview, and analyzed with fuzzy algorithm. In our algorithm, we developed system configuration that detected accumulating PD signal using by Labview and programmed fuzzy algorithm can be analyzed the PD signal using with Matlab. With practical PD logic implementation of theoretical detected system and hardware implementation, the device for Hipotronics Company's 50kV setup has generated and then has applied with $15k{\sim}17kV$ with 1:1 time probe. It's also used the LDPE 0.27mmt (scratch error 0.05mmt) to sample for making PD. In conclusion, Our new class of PD detected algorithm has also compared with previous PRPDA or Fuzzy algorithm. which has diagnose more conveniently by adding numerical values.

Identification of Partial Discharge Defects based on Back- Propagation Algorithm in Eco-friendly Insulation Gas

  • This study presents a method for identifying partial discharge defects in an eco-friendly gas insulated system using a backpropagation algorithm. Four partial discharge (PD) electrode systems, namely, a free-moving particle, protrusion on the conductor, protrusion on the enclosure, and voids, were designed to simulate PD defects that can occur during the operation of eco-friendly gas-insulated switchgear. The PD signals were measured using an ultrahigh-frequency sensor as a nonconventional method based on IEC 62478. To identify the types of PD defects, the PD parameters of single PD pulses in the time and frequency domains and the phase-resolved partial discharge patterns were extracted, and a back-propagation algorithm in the artificial neural network was designed using a virtual instrument based on LabVIEW. The backpropagation algorithm proposed in this paper has an accuracy rate of over 90% for identifying the types of PD defects, and the result is expected to be used as a reference database for asset management and maintenance work for eco-friendly gas-insulated power equipment.

Efficient Detection of Space-Time Block Codes Based on Parallel Detection

  • Algorithms based on the QR decomposition of the equivalent space-time channel matrix have been proved useful in the detection of V-BLAST systems. Especially, the parallel detection (PD) algorithm offers ML approaching performance up to 4 transmit antennas with reasonable complexity. We show that when directly applied to STBCs, the PD algorithm may suffer a rather significant SNR degradation over ML detection, especially at high SNRs. However, simply extending the PD algorithm to allow p ${\geq}$ 2 candidate layers, i.e. p-PD, regains almost all the loss but only at a significant increase in complexity. Here, we propose a simplification to the p-PD algorithm specific to STBCs without a corresponding sacrifice in performance. The proposed algorithm results in significant complexity reductions for moderate to high order modulations.

  • 보호구간이 없는 Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing-Code Division Multiplexing Access(OFDM-CDMA) 시스템을 사용하면 보호구간이 있는 OFDM-CDMA 시스템보다 대역폭 효율을 향상시킬 수 있다. 보호구간이 없는 OFDM-CDMA 시스템에서 Inter-Symbol Interference(ISI)와 Inter-Carrier Interference(ICI)를 제거하는 새로운 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 Pseudo-Decorrelator에 기초하는 보호구간이 없는 OFDM-CDMA 시스템의 복조 기법이며, PD 알고리즘이라고 부르기로 하자. 모의실험 결과는 PD 알고리즘이 보호구간이 없는 OFDM-CDMA 시스템에서 ISI와 ICI를 효과적으로 제거할 수 있음을 보여준다. PD 알고리즘은 기존의 보호구간이 없는 OFDM-CDMA 시스템보다 좋은 BER 성능을 나타낸다.

  • This work involves analyzing partial discharge (PD), which has estimated the detected signal accumulation based on Labview, and analyzing by Fuzzy algorithm. In algorithm, we developed system configuration that detected accumulating PD signal. With practical PD logic implementation of theoretical detected system and hardware implementation, the device for 50kV setup has generated and then has applied with 15k~17kV with 1:1 time probe. Our new class of PD detected algorithm has also compared with PRPDA or Fuzzy algorithm, which has diagnose more conveniently by adding numerical values.

  • This paper describes that PD sources in GIS were recognized using fuzzy algorithm proposed in this paper. PD sources were classified by four states and PD signals were expressed by $\phi$-q distribution. $\phi$-N distribution and Q-N distribution. Then statistical operators were extracted from each distributions. As a result, the rate of recognizing PD sources in GIS using fuzzy algorithm proposed in this paper was 93[%].

운전중 부분방전 진단시스템을 위한 복합 잡음제거 기법 (A Complex Noise Suppression Algorithm for On-line Partial Discharge Diagnosis Systems)

  • This paper introduces a novel denoising algorithm for the partial-discharge(PD) signals from power apparatuses. The developed algorithm includes three kinds of specific denoising sub-algorithms. The first sub-algorithm uses the fuzzy logic which classifies the noise types in the magnitude versus phase PD pattern. This sub-algorithm is especially effective in the rejection of the noise with high and constant magnitude. The second one is the method simply removing the pulses in the phase sections below the threshold count in the count versus phase pattern. This method is effective in removing the occasional high level noise pulses. The last denoising sub-algorithm uses the grouping characteristics of PD pulses in the 3D plot of the magnitude versus phase versus cycle. This special technique can remove the periodical noise pulses with varying magnitudes, which are very difficult to be removed by other denoising methods. Each of the sub-algorithm has different characteristic and shows different quality of the noise rejection. On that account, a parameter which numerically expresses the noise possessing degree of signal, is defined and evaluated. Using the parameter and above three sub-algorithms, an adaptive complex noise rejection algorithm for the on-line PD diagnosis system is developed. Proposed algorithm shows good performances in the various real PD signals measured from the power apparatuses in the Korean plants.

PD-슬라이딩 모드 제어의 절환을 통한 강인한 SPMSM 속도 제어기 설계 (Design of SPMSM Robust Speed Servo Controller Switching PD and Sliding Mode Control Strategies)

  • The paper proposes a new type of robust speed control strategy for permanent magnet synchronous motor by using PD-sliding mode hybrid control. The PD control has a good performance in the transient region while the sliding mode controller provides the robustness against system uncertainties. Taking advantages of the two control strategies, the proposed control method utilizes the PD control in the approaching region to the sliding surface and the sliding mode control near at the sliding surfaces. The chattering problem of the sliding mode controller is eliminated by applying the saturation function for the switching function of the sliding mode control. The stability of the sliding mode control is verified by using Lyapunov function with the proper selection of variable gains. It is shown that with this simple switching algorithm, stability of the overall hybrid control system is ensured. Through the simulations, the PD-sliding mode algorithm is shown to have a good performance in the transient response as well as being robust against disturbances. The robustness of the PD-sliding mode algorithm is further demonstrated against various external disturbances in the real experiments of SPMSM motor control.
