Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) were once used throughout various industries; however, because of their persistence in the environment, exposure remains a global threat to the environment and human health. The Kv1.3 and Kv1.5 channels have been implicated in the immunotoxicity and cardiotoxicity of PCBs, respectively. We determined whether 3,3',4,4'-tetrachlorobiphenyl (PCB77), a dioxin-like PCB, alters human Kv1.3 and Kv1.5 currents using the Xenopus oocyte expression system. Exposure to 10 nM PCB77 for 15 min enhanced the Kv1.3 current by approximately 30.6%, whereas PCB77 did not affect the Kv1.5 current at concentrations up to 10 nM. This increase in the Kv1.3 current was associated with slower activation and inactivation kinetics as well as right-shifting of the steady-state activation curve. Pretreatment with PCB77 significantly suppressed tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-10 production in lipopolysaccharide-stimulated Raw264.7 macrophages. Overall, these data suggest that acute exposure to trace concentrations of PCB77 impairs immune function, possibly by enhancing Kv1.3 currents.
This paper proposes a method of automatic function test for parts mounted Printed Circuit Board. For this purpose, we designed a Data Acquisition Equipment, PC interface card and inspection software. The experiment was done for the coffee vending machine and its result was good.

Nowadays, For that reason, the tactical training system that were applied to recruit training center and police training, a real-life survivor game place is a drill using conventional training methods that there is no special training system at open terrain and field, there is no training accomplishment in conformity with battlefield situation portrayal. Therefore, this paper developed the tactical training evaluation system and real-time monitoring system that is compensated the defect and controlled sensing, interlock with PC as wireless a way of GUI using PCB mounted MICOM. This system evaluate drill that regulate sensor control module, tactical training system remotely according to what they should do, is installed to fit the occasion as to be reflected or transmission choosingly and is a 24V H/W drive module.

The most of military systems that developed today are composed with many sub-systems for mission execution. The test of military systems for delivery test of mass product such that part test, PCB test, component test, integration test. Improving productivity is minimize testing item by man and minimize kind of tester, so that decrease product cost by production time for test. PCB tester be developed many kind of test method that systems were developed by many different engineers. This article studies testing check point for testing that how to minimize of kind of tester, how to automatic test for all of function that have inputs and outputs. Development of tester for improving productivity requires classify functional allocation of main system and sub system, sub system require PCB for functional allocation start on preliminary design period for reducing testing item and testing fixture.

The DC power-bus' resonance is frequently attributed to EMI sources in the PCBs. Subsequently, it will ruin the digital signal integrity within one system or between adjacent systems in the form of conducted or radiated emission. Hence, since it is of importance to examine the PCB's emission, this paper sheds a light on the radiated emission from the power-bus with regards to its resonance modes. A full-wave analysis method is used to calculate the impedance and radiated electric fields and is validated by physics and an EM analysis tool.

This research deals with multiple Gantry-type assembly machines for the optimization of PCB assembly line. The automated assembly machine has 6 nozzles which can linearly move the X axis and the Y axis different from the turret type assembly machine. Each machine is optimized while considering the whole line balancing of three machines in assembly process simultaneously. Simulation models are developed using AutoMod for comparison study with single machine operation cases under various conditions such as types and total number of components to evaluate the proposed method.

Productivity and quality stability are very important competitive factors in PCB manufacturing lines that process the multiple types of products with the mixed process flows under frequent order information changes. MES is an appropriate IT solution to solve these problems in the medium-sized PCB manufacturing company. This paper introduces the MES development and its effects for a medium-sized PCB manufacturing company. The main functions of an implemented MES are delivery simulation, production scheduling, and production process monitoring. Productivity are improved up to $10{\sim}20%$ and manufacturing lead times per order are shortened up to 2 days according to the manufacturing scenarios.
This paper proposes a heuristic algorithm for performing the line balancing of PCB assembly fine including multiple surface mounters efficiently. We consider a PCB assembly line including the multiple surface mounters arranged serially as a target system. We assume that the number of heads of surface mounters can be changed. Also, the conveyor is assumed to move at a constant speed and have no buffer. Considering the minimum number of machines required for the desired production rate is a discrete nonincreasing function which is inversely proportional to the cycle time, we propose an optimization algorithm for line balancing by using the binary search method. Also we propose an head-changing algorithm. The algorithms are validated through the computer simulation.

In this paper, a technical method for removing the solder from PCBs has been proposed to simplify the pulverizing process and to get higher quality of materials for recycling of the electronic parts in the Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). There are several techniques to remove the solder from PCB, such as physical and chemical method, vibration, suction and blowing and so on. Among them, the suction technique turned out the best method by investigation. In the suction method, there are three variables for removing the solder. They are a temperature of the thermal wire, a velocity of moving PCB and a gap between PCB and thermal wire. To find the optimal variables for the system, an experiment has been conducted by a trial and error method. The optimal variables were found $220^{\circ}C$ of temperature, 11.58mm/s of velocity, 10mm of gap (A gap between suction hole and bottom of PCBs is 5mm). The result of the experiment shows that 50% of the solder were removed.
This paper has been realized PCB insert machine automation system. For the reduction of the install programming time as well as possible, a new technique is addressed. In detail, an image frame is initially divided into one area whose size decreases according to the distance from hole to hole on PCB. Searching center of hole using a threshold method after median filtering. At every moment of mouse click, area is shifted to locate the hole, and detect a center of hole in a new area. Experimental results are demonstrated to verify the superiority of this scheme in detecting position of part by comparing with a man of experience.
