선독 알고리즘에 의한 고속 가공 소프트웨어 구현 (The Implement of a high Speed Machining Software by Look-ahead Algorithm)

  • This paper describes a look-ahead algorithm of PCNC(personal computer numerical control). The algorithm is based on acceleration/deceleration before interpolation never including a command error and determines a velocity value in end point of each block(or start point of each block). The algorithm is represented as following; 1) calculating two maximum arrival velocity(v1, v2) by a acceleration value, a command velocity and distance in a previous block and a next block, 2) getting a tangent velocity(v3) of the adjacent blocks, 3) choosing a minimum value among these three velocities, and 4) setting the value to a velocity of a start point of the next block(or a end point of the previous block). The proposed look-ahead algorithm was implemented and tested by using a commercial RTOS(real time operation system) on the MS-Windows NT 4.0 in a PC platform. For interfacing to a machine, a counter board, a DAC board and a DIO board were used. The result of the algorithm increased a machining precision and a machining speed in many short blocks.

TRIO-CINEMA의 시스템 harness

  • TRIO-CINEMA(TRiplet Ionospheric Observatory-Cubesat for Ion, Neutron, Electron & MAgnetic field)는 지구근접공간에서의 미세 자기장 변화 및 중성입자의 검출을 목적으로 경희대학교와 UC Berkeley가 공동 개발하는 초소형위성이다. 초소형위성은 내부 공간이 협소하여 효율적인 공간배치 및 위성체발사 시 진동에도 견딜 수 있도록 harness가 제작되어야 한다. CINEMA는 OBC, EPS, 배터리, 수신기, IIB(Instrument Interface Board), MAGIC(MAGnetometer Imperial College) board, HVPS(High Voltage Power Supply)로 구성된 avionics bus와 MAGIC, STEIN(Supra Thermal Electron, Ion, Neutral)의 payload, Solar panel, UHF와 S-band 안테나로 구성되어 있다. Solar panel에서 생산된 전력은 EPS를 통해 배터리에 저장되고 PC104를 통해 avionics stack의 각 board로 전력이 분배된다. IIB는 탑재체 파트와 연결되어 이를 제어하고 HVPS에서 STEIN에 공급되는 고전압은 특수 와이어를 통해 연결되며 UHF 안테나와 S-band 안테나는 RF 케이블로 수신기와 송신기가 연결되어 있다. 각각의 harness는 케이블타이와 lacing tape로 위성체와 고정되며 커넥터는 고정 지지대를 제작하여 나사로 체결하였다. CINEMA에 적용된 harness는 진동시험과 열진공시험을 통해 harness와 시스템의 안정성이 검증 되었다.

도시농업을 위한 소형온실 설계요인 분석 및 구조모델 개발 (Development of Structural Model and Analysis of Design Factors for Small Greenhouse of Urban Agriculture)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest structural model and analyze design factors for the development of small greenhouse standardization model. The average dimensions of small greenhouse desired by urban farmers were 3.3m in width, 1.9m in eaves height, 2.7m in ridge height, 5.7m in length. The cladding materials for small greenhouse were preferred to glass, PC board and plastic film, framework to aluminum alloy and steel, and heating method in electrical energy. In addition, it was analyzed that small greenhouses need to develop structural model by dividing them into entry-level type and high-level type. The roof type that was used for entry-level type was arch shape, framework was steel pipe, cladding material was plastic film. On the other hand, high-level type was used in even span or dutch light type, framework with square hollow steel, cladding materials with glass or PC board. In consideration of these findings and practicality, this study developed four types of small greenhouses. The width, eaves height, ridges height, and length of the small greenhouses of even span type, which were covered with 5mm thick glass and 6mm thick PC board were 3m, 2.2m, 2.9m, and 6m, respectively. The small greenhouse of dutch light type covered with 5mm thick glass was designed with 3.8m in with, 2.2m in eaves height, 2.9m in ridges height, and 6m in length. The width, eaves height, ridges height, and length of the arch shape small greenhouse covered with a 0.15mm PO film were 3m, 1.5m, 2.8m, and 6m, respectively.

대화형 음성인식 이동로봇에 관한 연구 (A study on the interactive speech recognition mobile robot)

  • This paper is a study on the implementation of speech recognition mobile robot to which the interactive speech recognition techniques is applied. The speech command uttered the sentential connected word and is asserted through the wireless mic system. This speech signal transferred LPC-cepstrum and shorttime energy which are computed from the received signal on the DSP board to notebook PC. In notebook PC, DP matching technique is used for recognizer and the recognition results are transferred to the motor control unit which output pulse signals corresponding to the recognized command and drive the stepping motor. Grammar network applied to reduce the recognition speed of the recogniger, so that real time recognition is realized. The misrecognized command is revised by interface revision through the conversation with mobile robot. Therefore, user can move the mobile robot to the direction which user wants.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the ideas about childrearing represented on the cuber space. The method used for this study is the content analysis and the data are articles on the Hitel bulletin board during 1 year. It is found that these articles dealt with problems of practices in the pregnancy-delivery, nurturing, teaching and interfacing between home and social institutions. Especially these articles put great emphasis on nurturing. For example, there are many articles about caring, development, health and hygiene of child. And from 1st to 6th month, there are many articles about nurturing. After 7th month, many articles about teaching and interfacing between home and social institutions are appeared. So from these results we might conclude that many functions of the home are transmitted to society too early.

It was found that then articles dealt with problems of practices in the teaching, nurturing, interfacing between home and social institutions, and disciplining. Especially these articles put great emphasis on teaching. For example, there are many articles about children's cognitive development. And there are many articles about nurturing. Especially child's emotional care. Many articles about interfacing between home and social institutions are appeared. In early childhood, many child go to nursery center. So from these results, we might conclude that many mothers gave their children emotional care. And they didn't teach their children directly. Instead they bought many educational instrument.

영상처리 기법을 이용한 자동차부품의 자동검사시스템 개발 (Automated Inspection System Using Image Processing Technology for Automotive Components)

  • 이 논문은 영상처리기법을 이용하여 자동차 엔진 조림공정에 대한 통합적인 자동검사시스템의 개발에 관한 연구이다. 본 시스템은 머신비전에 의한 검사데이터를 통계적 공정관리시스템으로 직접 입력이 가능하며, 이러한 특성은 품질 이상이나 공정에 문제가 발생하였을 때 즉각적인 수정 조치가 가능한 기술이다. 검사부분에 대한 영상처리는 PC 내부에 설치되어 있는 IVP-150 머신비전 보드에 의하여 이루어지며, 품질요소를 정확히 확인하기 위해 템플리트 매칭 기술이 적용되었다. 본 시스템을 생산현장에 적용한 결과, 잡음이나 영상의 삐뚤어짐 흑은 방향성 등의 문제에도 적응력이 강함이 입증되었다.

  • In this paper, intelligent control method using neural network as a nonlinear controller is presented. Simulation studies for three link rotary robot are performed. Neural network controller is implemented on DSP board in PC to make real time computing possible. On-line training algorithms for neural network control are proposed. As a test-bed, a large x-y table was build and interface with PC has been implemented. Experiments such as inverted pendulum control and large x-y table position control are performed. The results for different PD controller gains with neural network show excellent position tracking for circular trajectory compared with those for PD controller only. Neural control scheme also works better for controlling inverted pendulum on x-y table.

  • In this paper, an internet based control application for dynamical systems is implemented. This implementation is maily targeted for the part of advanced control education. Intelligent control algorithms are implemented in a PC so that a client can remotely access the PC to control a dynamical system through the internet. Neural network is used as an on-line intelligent controller. To have on-line learning and control capability, the reference compensation technique is implemented as intelligent control hardware of combining a DSP board and an FPGA chip. GUIs for a user are also developed for the user's convenience. Actual experiments of motion control of a DC motor have been conducted to show the performance of the intelligent control though the internet and the feasibility of advanced control education.

중소형 망원경 제어 시스템 MS-TCS 개발 (DEVELOPMENT OF A TELESCOPE CONTROL SYSTEM, MS-TCS)

  • In this paper we describe MS-TCS, the telescope control system which was developed in Korea Astronomy Observatory. MS-TCS can control an equatorial type telescope equipped with stepping motors and incremental type optical encoders. MS-TCS consists of (1) POINT_TEL which is the program roning in a PC and (2) TCS-196 which is the electroics board to control the telescope. The communication between the PC and TCS-l96 is done through RS-232 or RS-422 serial line. MS-TCS can control the secondary mirror and dome. It also provide network function using TCP/IP for remote control of the telescope. MS-TCS is suitable for controlling medium to small size telescope for research and education.
