  • Blockchain is a distributed ledger-based technology where all nodes participating in the blockchain network are connected to the P2P network. When a transaction is created in the blockchain network, the transaction is propagated and validated by the blockchain nodes. The verified transaction is sent to peers connected to each node through P2P network, and the peers keep the transaction in the memory pool. Due to the nature of P2P networks, the number and type of transactions delivered by a blockchain node is different for each node. As a result, all nodes do not have the same memory pool. Research is needed to solve problems such as attack detection. In this paper, we analyze transactions in the memory pool before solving problems such as transaction fee manipulation, double payment problem, and DDos attack detection. Therefore, this study collects transactions stored in each node memory pool of Bitcoin and Ethereum, a cryptocurrency system based on blockchain technology, and analyzes how much common transactions they have using jacquard similarity.

  • Today the various types of communication and application service are provided by the development of Internet and IP technologies. It is expected to be extended the service domain of two networks through the interconnecting P2PSIP overlay which is highlighted as an important technologies for Internet based services and IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem) which is the new architecture adopted in the evolution of NGN. Therefore, this paper explains the possible methods of the service expansion with interconnecting P2PSIP overlay and IMS network. Specially this paper suggests the interconnection architectures of P2PSIP overlay and IMS network as subscriber's types and analyzes the traffic analysis model and session set up delay characteristics by simulation model. As a results, this paper shows that the interconnection architecture using gateway AS(Application Server) is the excellent method to interconnect the IMS in case of P2PSIP overlay only subscriber, and that interconnection architecture using I-CSCF is good method to interconnect the IMS in case of P2PSIP overlay and IMS subscriber.

  • To play the networked video contents in a client's mobile device in real time, the contents should be delivered to it by the contents server with streaming technology. Generally, in a server-client based commerce model, the server is in charge of both the authentication of the paid customer and distribution of the contents. The drawback of it is that if the customers' requests go on growing rapidly, the service quality would be degraded results from the problems of overloaded server or restricted network bandwidth. On the contrary, in P2P based networks, more and more the demand for service increasing, the service quality is upgraded since a customer can act as a server. But, in the P2P based network, there are too many servers to manage, it's possible to distribute illegal contents because the P2P protocol cannot control distributed servers. Thus, it's not suitable for commercial purposes. In this paper, the dymanic group authentication scheme is proposed which is suited to P2P based applications. The proposed scheme consists of group based key generation, key update, signature generation and verification protocols. It can control the seeder's state whether the seeder is joining or leaving the network, and it can be applied to hybrid P2P based commerce model where sales transactions are covered by the index server and the contents are distributed by the P2P protocol.

  • In this paper, we are dealing with the problems of performance evaluation of Differentiated Services(DiffServ) networks. For successful performance evaluation, the ability to accurately represent "real" traffic on the network by suitable traffic models is an essential ingredient. Many research results on the nature of real traffic measurements demonstrated LRD(long-range dependence) property for the Internet traffic including Web, TELNET, and P2P traffic. The LRD can be effectively represented by self-similarity. In this paper, we design and implement self-similar traffic generator using the aggregated On/Off source model, based on the analysis of the On-Off source model, FFT-FGN(Fast Fourier Transform-Fractional Gaussian Noise) model, and RMD(Random Midpoint Displacement) model. We confirmed the self-similarity of our generated traffic by checking the packet inter-arrival time of TCPdump data. Further we applied the implemented traffic generator to the performance evaluation of DiffServ networks and observed the effect of performance to the a value of the On/Off model, and performance of EF/BE class traffic by CBQ.

  • Recently P2P (Peer-to-Peer) networks and applications have been expanded to various field. However, because the construction of P2P network did not influence a underlying network topology or property, it may be inefficient. Especially, this inefficiency is more serious in MANET because MANET has narrow bandwidth and energy constraint. When we use a proactive routing protocol in MANET, we can know hop counts between two nodes. And, we can construct a P2P overlay network using this hop count information. However, In case of using hop count only, we can avoid a interference path selection problem and a zig-zag problem. We propose a method of improving P2P contents distribution using virtual positions. We calculate virtual positions from hop counts using the trigonometry. This method solves a interference path selection problem and a zig-zag problem. This method also allows a P2P network to influence underlying network topology. We adopt this method to a network which uses a virtual geographic routing, a proactive routing protocol, or a reactive routing protocol. We show that our proposed methods improve P2P contents distribution performance over MANET through a simulation.

  • The GNUnet in P2P system have solved an anonymous(publisher, storer, demander); a service of condition equal for peer. The GNUnet for an anonymous has separated a file and dispersed to the network. But, the 1Kbyte block size of the GNUnet is a creation of many additional block. I and R block has created with indirect point of D block The waste of I and R block appeared to 4% of the original file and the additional network traffic for the block transmission. To resolve the problems, this paper proposes an new scheme of file splitting distribution using P2P networks with the new GNUnet protocol, The GNUnet support minimization of the additional block and for a network traffic. It proposed an efficiency improvement of encording block and routing algorithm.

  • Due to the complicated steel structure and safety concern, it is very difficult to deploy wireless networks in power plants. This paper presents a hybrid network, named as $P^2HYMN$ (Power Plant HYbrid Maintenance Network), encompassing PLC (Power Line Communication), TLC (Telephone Line Communication), and Wireless LAN. The design goal of $P^2HYMN$ is to integrate multimedia data such as design drawings of control equipment, process data, and video image data for maintenance operation in electric power plants. A Multiplex Line Communication (MLC) device was designed and implemented to integrate PLC, TLC, and Wireless LAN into $P^2HYMN$. Performance test of $P^2HYMN$ has been conducted on a testbed under various conditions. The throughput of TLC was shown as 39 Mbps. Because the bandwidth requirement per camera is 8.5 Mbps on average, TLC is expected to support more thant four video camera at the same time.

  • In this paper, we propose a new skyline query processing scheme to enhance accuracy of query processing and communication cost in mobile P2P environments. The proposed scheme consists of three stages such as the pre-skyline processing, the query transmission range extension policy, and the continuous skyline query processing. In the pre-skyline processing, a peer selects the candidate filtering objects who have the potential to be selected. By doing so, the proposed scheme reduces the filtering cost when processing the query. In the query transmission range extension policy, we have improved the accuracy by extending the query transmission range. In addition, it can handle continuous skyline query by performing the monitoring after the first skyline query processing. In order to show the superiority of the proposed method, we compare it with the existing schemes through performance evaluation. As a result, it was shown that the proposed scheme outperforms the existing schemes.
